The Viper Room Review

Loved coming here and even got a shirt from here. Its an Iconic venue.

The Viper Room was the most redeeming factor during my LA experience. The service from the door entry to the bar staff is fantastic. The booths are reserved and cost quite a bit to do so. Unfortunately at the time, they were only carrying sugar free Red Bulls for my cocktail of choice, but even these were better options than most of the bars in LA provided. The Viper Room is dark and has a sorid LA history, but the most striking thing was how everyone danced, and no one was a wallflower at the Viper Room.

Do yourself a favor and visit the legendary Rainbow Bar instead. Better music, prices and much friendlier staff.

Enjoy until midnight. There is a parking lot nearby.

A classic Rock Venue in Hollywood with a very unique vibe. You will feel like you're back in the 80s while inside with their retro style. Great sound and one of few left venues with classic lighting that still does not use LEDs on stage which makes it very special and gives it a retro mood that you can't find anywhere else. Tickets prices are very affordable and there's always a cool rock band or musician playing any day of the week.

Absolutely to be avoided !!! They charge the entrance and inside the place is nothing short of disappointing ... live deafening music .. crazy people!

One of the best music clubs in the world. Hands down. First night I ever showed up here was for an open mic, the open mic got cancelled last minute because "a band was scheduled last minute" according to the bartender. When I asked the name of the band he said he didn't know who. I decided to stick around. A few hours later Les Claypool, Omar Rodriguez Lopez, Taylor Hawkins and John Frusciante showed up to jam. Very few places in the world can something some random, and so legendary take place.

This place is amazing. I can't wait to see Madd play there in June

I had too visit the place where River Phoenix died years ago. The bar had a dark cool vibe too it as well and the band was very good.

Great music, great music and I really love this atmosphere !!!

I still can not believe I'm here the exactly place River passed away when I was a student.
