Glenelg Golf Club Reviews

The palindromic Glenelg is located just south of Adelaide Airport, but relatively undisturbed by air traffic (which doesn't land or take-off directly overhead) - like Adelaide's other top courses, the layout sits on sandy subsoil, ensuring plenty of distinctly links-like characteristics.
Although located in an Adelaide suburb, housing does not intrude within or even directly alongside the course perimeter, allowing you to enjoy Glenelg's spacious and relatively open parkland environment.

Technology glitches during power point presentation during business meeting. Lunch supplied by golf club wasn't enough to feed everyone. Nice location though.

Great place for dinner. Good steaks with a great view.

Venue nice but food provided was poor quality. Very small portion of fruit for morning tea. No juice no biscuits no cakes. Lunch was ok sandwiches and baguettes juice and small plate of fruit. Nothing else was provided. Some cheese and biscuits and something sweet would have been nice. Did not have to be too much. But pretty basic.

Food was great. Not too pricey. Not too much - nor too little. Good service.

Recently attended a wedding here, service was so wonderful, very accommodating and the DJ was great (i believe he was the golf clubs regular DJ). Food was quite delicious too.

Pretty average venue. I was expecting it to be a little up market given their publicity. No better than your average country R.S.L

Teague Tours transported 10 Sydney golfers to this wonderful course on a reciprocal basis in late November.

Still my favorite golf course to go to on a Sunday. The added benefit of been close to the beach as there is always a cool breeze coming through for those warmer days. Really awesome range and built extremely well.

Beautiful golf course with large greens. Lots of bunkers to catch you unaware! Need to be a straight hitter and a good iron player.

Beautiful venue, friendly efficient staff, Great meal of Whiting, chips and salad, only issue undressed salad is really lacking a taste, never undressed salad. Everything else Perfect. Make sure to ask for salad with a dressing !

Beautiful and picturesque course, well maintained and a challenge to play

The course is in fantastic condition. Right up there with the other major western suburbs sand belt courses.

Attended a function, which was well organised, with great facilities and the food was very good. The views over the golf course and back out to Mt Lofty and the rest of the southern hills were fantastic.

The Car Park is over 500 metres from the club. Up a VERY STEEP HILL...then many steps to get in...The food is very expensive for what you get. Cool when it finally comes out to your table. Very SMALL Serves...

Was here for a brunch function. The menu was good but the portion was small. And the coffee could be better. Nice view of the golf lawns though...

We've eaten here several times. The food is great. They have a great selection of wine and beer. They are a great venue for functions and celebrations. They were very easy to deal with.

The best golf course in SA by a long way and also has very good practice facilities.

Absolute gold class wedding venue! The room where the reception was held looked stunning. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they even took our old Nanna to the site of the ceremony in a golf buggy which she thought was great. The food was especially lovely too. Special shout out to wedding planner Lyn and waitress Taylor. She really went out of her way to look after us. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Went to a Travel Associates function at The Glenelg Golf Club last night. Wonderful venue with beautiful views over the golf course. Amenities great and the food was fabulous. A very enjoyable and informative night. Well done Travel Associates and Glenelg Golf club

Great quality food and drink. Had the rib eye off the Bistro menu, it was excellent. Good views out over the course. Glad we live close by.

Incredible venue, staff are brilliant! One of Adelaide's premier function rooms, highly recommend.

The 14th hole is pretty tricky but if you can get past that you can achieve anything you can set your mind to. The sky is the limit. Believe. Dream. Achieve.

Nice 18 hole course, quite long and has some challenging holes featuring water traps. The course is watered year round and the fairways are always green. This course has scrapes, not grassed greens.

The scenery is nice! Nicely laid out place if you are into golf, it's really nice and you will appreciate it. Slightly dated building. The building has large rooms. Good for events like meetings, parties, etc.
