A very nice library! Probably one of the nicest ones I've been to! It's relatively quiet, a lot of open space, tons of books! My favorite part is the annex where they sell books at cheap! It's a good ole garage sale that is a great idea! Palos Verdes is also very safe and a nice neighborhood to be in!

Large open library with plenty of study desk the 2nd floor which is a quite zone. Great kids area with a small amphitheater for story times. Private study rooms are available to reserve as well. Well staffed so help isn't ever an issue. Parking can be tough sometimes but a new parking lot is being built. Good hours but limited on weekends so double check before you go. For me personally, it's cold. The a/c works.

Growing up in a library environment, I like to go visit local libraries whichever city or town I visit, from Library of Congress, NYC library, National Library of China, to local community libraries. This library of PV is the best I ve seen among community libraries. It is spacious, having more than 10 study rooms, helpful staff. Lot of readers but you won t feel crowded. If you go visit I think the first thing that amazes you is probably tue size: how can a community library be so big.

The passport office is doing completely terrible job!!! I will never come to this office again and recommend everyone to look for another place. The asian lady with glasses was so rude and disrespectful to me, and in the meanwhile I was at the window, she was mentioning the next customer is here and she needs to go for the next person!!! That s now how it works to disrespect your customer lady!!! Even for photo, they capture very low quality picture and the price is 6 times higher than a place like Costco!!!! 6 times higher!!!! You better avoid this place to have peace in your mind in another passport office.

Went for my daughter's passport service recently here. The person who was processing took my husband's credit card's photocopy when he had a valid passport (his DL was temporary federal one which would still be a better proof than credit card I guess). After one month we get a mail asking us to send 5 additional personal documents for verification purpose. We had to travel international within 3 months and the mistake by the person who processed our daughter's passport caused us lot of trouble.

A very big library ideal for studying or working. They have quiet area that is isolated from all the activities, and also a lot of small and large study rooms if you really need to talk. Their catalog is comprehensive, and recently even started to carry video games - Switch, PS4, Xbox One. The library is right in downtown PV, so there are quite a few food choices if you need. And, of course, such a beautiful and clean library!

This is a great institution. Because of the great donors and community support, we have a library that is open sundays, has good wifi, lots of study rooms, a program and place for teens to hang out, good online services, and I cant stress this enough...bathrooms that r nice and u dont have to be buzzed into.

Great experience doing my application for passport here. Very nice people, fast service, all done in a few minutes, including pictures taken. Convenient hours, made appointment Friday afternoon for Sunday. Don't go to the post office, it's a nightmare.
