Super fun stop to find anything Vermont! Has great hard to find items and delicious treats. Can get kind of touristy when coach buses pull in but off peak you can meander to your heart's content and sample all the maple syrup and cheddar cheese you can handle.

Get ready, you can spend hours and hundreds of dollars here but it's all good. They offer free samples, which really helps in determining what to buy. Toys are way overpriced but food is reasonable.

The Weston store, being older, is not as well organized as the Rockingham store. Also, prices are quite high. We visited a similar store in Stowe, and many of the same household items were much less expensive. For example, I COULD have saved upwards of $6 on my butter bell crock in Stowe. My wife saw a sleeping gown, but it was $100! and if she wanted the accompanying outer garment, it was another $100! We can be sucked in to the nostalgia of the presentation of the merchandise, and not realize that the same items can be found elsewhere. Still bought lots of stuff, though.

A pretty cool place if you like the old times look of things, the store is authentic and truly unique with old wooden plank floor boards and antiques spread all throughout the store. You can find pretty much anything in the store within reason. They ve candy priced at a cent, homemade fudge, authentic maple syrup, store made cheeses, salsas, beers, toys, clothes, and even perfumes. It was pretty fun experience and would definitely go again. Just expect to spend some money as a lot of it seems extremely overpriced.

If you enjoy nostalgia you'll like this store. Take a step back in time to products you used to have. Old time games and kids toys. Clothes, linens, hair products, colognes, and much, much more. Pre-covid you could sample cheeses, candies, cookies and more but alas no longer. Be warned though you will pay extra for this nostalgia as the prices are kinda high but the quality is usually good so it's worth it.

Very cute and representative of Vermont country living. Prices are somewhat high and geared towards visitors, but the selection is fun and truly Vermont. This may sound weird, but they have one of the funniest and quirky restrooms that I've ever seen.

Let me give everyone at the Vermont Country Store ...

Let me give everyone at the Vermont Country Store a round of applause for their customer service. I m 56years old and I have never, repeat never, had anyone call me back for a review I gave them. I recently reviewed the weather Haus that I bought from the Country Store. I gave them 4 stars because the instructions were in German and I didn t know whether the girl or boy was the wet or dry indicator. Someone from their customer service actually called me and told me the answer!! I was only giving a review and not asking the question, but apparently they truly read the reviews, respond when they can, but most importantly, they care about their customers!! Way to go Vermont Country Store. Now, if we could only talk your family into opening a customer oriented store in Portland, Oregon. One can only hope? Thanks, and I ll continue to be a repeat customer. Kimberlee

All the kitch you could want, all in one place. VT tee-shirts, fleeces and other memorabilia in every style and decoration; none made in VT.

Good local cheeses and fruit wines. Of course, maple syrup.

It was so wonderful to see things that I didn't even know they still made. I could have walked around all day looking at all the great gifts and special items they carry. If you have never been there I would definitely reccomend checking it out.

On Nov. 27TH The ride to the Vermont Country Store was scary (roads were slick due to snowplows not doing good job). Went to the store but their power was out! Not their issue, they were very nice. Let us come in to the store (no heat), but glad I had my heavy coat on. I love all their products that I bought there today.

Yes it is a tourist trap but there are so many nostalgia here that it's hard to resist. Lots of samples of cheese, crackers, cookies, and jams. Not to mention the penny candy and fudge. Old fashioned household items, games and toys. Great placd for browsing and rediscovering things you never knew you needed well worth thd visit.

What a great stop

What a great stop
We've been going to the VCS for about 25 years....and still keep going back. Each time we're in Vermont we stop by to check out their new household/kitchen items, grab a paper sack of penny-candy, see the local Vermont made items. Don't miss checking out the bargain room upstairs for some really wonderful bargains and unique items. Make sure to grab a wedge of cheese, freshly cut right there, from some of Vermont's best farms. Parking is great, located in the back of the store, and plentiful. There's a picnic area for families to sit and enjoy the Vermont sunshine or grab a snack or lunch. Must see if you're traveling in Vermont (Route 100 for Weston or Route 103 for Rockingham).

I tried pretty much everything they had to offer. I didn't need to eat lunch that day. Everything was very good, but a tad overpriced. Found similar items other places for cheaper. It's a touristy place, so expect to pay like it is.

Like stepping into yesteryear - a theme park experience in a store. Everything from cologne to kitchen ware, this place has it all in the most charming of settings. Reuben Sandwich at the restaurant over the road is one of the best I've had.

This place was like Dr. Who's phone booth. It was HUGE inside. And full of kids, because of all the candy and games. But they have everything (except postcards, oddly); I basically went there for the cheese (very tasty). Definitely a "touristy" place, but I'm a tourist here, so. The girl who rang me up was very friendly and helpful too.

Everything I looked at was made in China !..

Everything I looked at was made in China !..
And the one thing I bought as a momento of my two hour trip to the Vermont Country China Store broke as I was drinking from it.
The owners of this place should be ashamed if themselves !.. All the money that gets spent here goes in the owners pockets and to a communist regime who hates our country. There are a artistians all over Vermont, New York, and America who would love to sell their products here. Help make America great again !.. Buy local and American made products.. Shame on you Vermont Country China Store !..

The Vermont Country Store was far more than I had imagined!!
Customer Service was the best, reminded me of the good old days. Sarah was so patient with me and met my needs. High quality merchandise! Displays were incredible. I really enjoyed all the wonderful display antiques! We really enjoyed tasting the fine cheeses and self service candy stations!
Can't wait to go back!

This place is fab! Anything and everything you could ever need or wish for. The inside is like a Tardis, it keeps going and going, stocked full of goodies to taste and stock you never knew existed. I dare you to go in and come away empty handed. Go on... I dare you.

It's everything you could want in a country store and more. The place is huge. Great snacks like, fudge, chips and more.
Then, there's cloths for she and he. Fun stuff and serious stuff too. You have Games, treats, and much more. This is a major league authentic country type store, but on steroids!
