Corky is a hoot! We had great conversation in addition to having great service for my vacuum cleaner. It's the second time I've used The Vacuum Company and I will use it again. Plus, love getting hugs from Dexter the golden retriever. :-)

The owner is very knowledgeable and has been in the vacuum business for numerous years. Several months ago, I traded one vacuum in very good condition for another one that would fit our needs better. The previous vacuum had numerous attachments, which were more cumbersome. The vacuum I have now, is much easier to use and quickly switches from smooth flooring/carpet/nozzle. I have enjoyed using it. If you have ANY questions about vacuums and YOUR needs (flooring, use, style), this is a great place for guidance. If you know your preferences and use, he can quickly help you wade through several options. It is definitely worth your time to stop, inquire and see what he has available.

I bought a package of Kirby bags there he charge me for 29.99 for one package of three!! I found out online that I can pay 13.99 for a package of bags I don't recommend you go there anytime soon there's 200% markups on all his products!!

Always have driven by this place wondering why you would ever need to go there. Went there today because of a bad belt on my vacuum and I am 100% satisfied and recommend this business. Owner was very helpful and knew exactly what I needed and was in an out within 5 minutes! Great prices also! Highly recommend and will return for future services

I brought my 8 year old vacuum in for a replacement part and was thoroughly impressed with The Vacuum Company service and expertise. They had the replacement part for not only the hose that I knew was broken but also for the belt, filter and bags. She was able to quickly look over and help to replace various items that had never been serviced. Their service and parts are a fair price. When it came time to leave their shop, she helped me carry my vacuum out to my car while I carried my two young children. I would highly recommend The Vacuum Company for parts, service and a knowledgeable staff.

Did a great job in just a few hours fixed my expensive Kirby and the other joker on south 10th st had it for 12 days and charged me $55! Bottom line is don't take it to south 10th st take it to south 9th st and save yourself a bunch of money and a huge headache! There are Scheisters everywhere!

I like that they're local and near by but I get discouraged that when I want to shop they are closed. I get my work done on the weekends and no weekend availability keeps me from getting what I need and I end up going to big chains. Closing on a Monday, Tuesday and being open on the weekends would be better for business.. I think.

I can't say enough nice things about The Vacuum Company. I recently had my Dyson in after the cord broke. I dropped it off, they quoted me a price and had it fixed fast. I picked it up less than 48 hours later and they not only fixed the problem but took the time to clean it all up. It's tough to find quality businesses that truly care about customer service and this place exceeded all expectations. The gentleman even carried the vacuum back out to my car for me. If I ever need anything vacuum related in the future I will definitely go back here.

I ve had much better experiences getting my gen 3 Kirby serviced. I was charged nearly $400 for a new motor, yet other simple maintenance items were skipped. At my old fav Kirby shop, I d get it back shiny and clean. This place didn t even check my belt or bag.

My Dyson quit working just when my in-laws were coming to stay over the Memorial Day weekend! I called Corky at the Vacuum Co and he said I could drop off my vacuum and he'd take a look at it. (Another repair place couldn't take a look at it for 1 1/2 weeks.) When I got there, he asked a couple questions about the vacuum, opened it up and to my dismay, it was a filthy filter! I had cleaned one but never the one in the ball! So he put in 2 new filters, sprayed some lubricant and my Dyson was ready to go to work!! Just in time for out of town guests!! He could have replaced the switch since that's what we thought it was, but he was honest and fair and thanks to his 30+ yrs of experience, he knew it was just the filters! Thank you Corky! We hope you had a great holiday vacation!

Super nice guy. Definately knows what he is doing saw him help several customers and he knew the parts they needed with just a brief description without looking at any manuals. Definately will use for all vacuum parts and accesorys for now on.

The Vacuum Company is the only place I take my business to. The owner will go over and beyond to satisfy his customers. Every time I have been there the owner has been professional, friendly and caring. He doesn't over price his services. Last year I took my vacuum to The Lincoln Vacuum and after 2 weeks they still hadn't touched my vacuum, so I took it to "The Vacuum Company" and they had it fixed the same day....AWESOME business. I will always take my business there and will tell all my friends. Thank you for good customer service Kris Green & Kelly Kellogg

What a great small business! Took my Kirby in for repair and it was taken apart in front of me. Explained to me exactly what happened and very friendly individuals. I even told them I considered getting an irobot and they told me all the negatives. Definitely recommend this store and will be taking my vacuum anytime I need repairs. Thank you!

Owner met me in the parking area to help carry my vacuum in.. vacuum wasnt picking up debris...he sat right there on the floor and unplugged my vacuum that was full of cat hair, cat litter, ear plugs and c-pap filters (via kitten).. he was very friendly and polished my vacuum (like a car).. we talked about current events.. got to pet the friendly dog..and he (the owner, not the dog) carried my vacuum out to the car... and no charge! Highly reccomend this friendly family owned store!! Kim

Excellent experience for me at The Vacuum Company. Corky was able to solve solve a parts issue I was having with my vacuum.
Visit with him one time and I predict you will not want to go anyplace else for vacuum sales and service. Personable, knowledgeable, and pragmatic.

DON"T GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! After having a horrible experience at another vacuum repair shop in Lincoln, I went to this store. I could feel the friendliness as I walked in the door and Dexter (the dog) greeted me :). The owner was friendly, honest, and genuinely cared. He gave me the quote and I couldn't believe I was about to pay 4x as much at the other place. He had it ready within a few hours and it works better than brand new. THANK YOU!

Dropped off the vac before lunch, got the call that it was all fixed up during lunch, picked it up after lunch! Fantastic service, great price, will definitely be back!

Great customer service! I wouldn't go anywhere else for vacuum repair or supplies. The owners are kind and willing to help no matter what problem you have. They have gone above and beyond to help me out when I've had issues with an electrical cord and vacuum belt problems. Both fixes were very cheap!

It should really be 0 stars! Very pushy told me it was going to cast way more to fix my vacuum then it actually was. I would not recommend this store there are many other places in Lincoln to do business with people who aren't going to lie to you and take a vantage of you.

This is the type of place that literally has like 100% markup on there products. I bought a 300$ vacuum here only to find out later it was actually like a 150$ vacuum. I returned to the store, and was met with criticism and disrespect. DON'T SHOP HERE. the store owners is a bad person.

I wouldn t even rate this place a star! Absolutely disgusting service! My mother left her vacuum here on a Friday called to get an update on Monday, Guy answered with an absolutely disgusting tone! Told me he wasn t going to work on it and to come get my vacuum then proceed to hang up. DO.NOT. use this service! This is not a fake post either so please don t let these people fool you!

I was really nervous about taking my Kirby into be serviced because I didn't want to hear how much it was going to cost me. The vacuum was emitting a very bad smell each time we used it - so bad that we stopped using it! Enough was enough. I brought the vacuum here and the owner kindly explained to me why I was getting such a bad smell and how to prevent it in the future. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to purchase a new roller (which cost a pretty penny) but because the owner took the time to educate me on proper care of the vacuum, I'm hopeful I won't have to replace it again anytime soon. He also gave me a tutorial on how to change the belts myself. Although it was a costly visit, I had a great experience here and felt well treated by the owner. Also the cute dog made the visit very plesant! Hopefully I won't have to return soon, but if my vacuum ever needs repaired again - I'll be sure to come here first!

Took my 10+ year old Kirby in to get looked at because it wasn't working quite right. Roxanne was incredibly helpful - she even taught me some things about adjusting it I didn't know to make it function better. Fabulous customer service - will be back for sure!!

Took my Dyson vacuum in because we were having problem with the suction and couldn't find anything obstructing it. Corky looked at the vacuum right away and found a popsicle stuck in an area that wasn't easy to see. He removed the popsicle for me while I waited and refused to let me pay him for his time. Had used the guy a few blocks away on 10th street once in the past, but wasn't impressed. I HIGHLY recommend Corky and Roxanne Robinson (and Dexter, the friendly golden retriever) at The Vacuum Company. Don't waste your time with the other guy.

Dealer is a joke! Purchased two vacuums and refuses to perform maintenance on last one which is less than a year old. Wants to sell Yuppies $1800 Kirby vacs so he can drill them with high price service/repair bills. Busy showing customers his Rhino page with high Kirby sales versus honoring past customers needs for service. Avoid this shop for sure!!!
