Not crowded at all today but it's the middle of September. The flow of the exhibits seem to be all over the place and their map is hard to follow. Still a nice place to go with the kids.

Love this zoo! The exhibits are awesome and grounds are kept very clean. They have every animal imaginable and then also the ones that are not. The aquarium is outstanding, it's my family's favorite by far.

It was a great zoo. We didn't even finish walking around there was so much. It was clean and well managed. It was just rather pricey in my opinion. It wasn't terrible but we were on a budget.

This place is great. It isn't the smallest zoo, so plan on spending an entire day here. Not the cheapest zoo to visit, but completely worth every penny. They have gone way far above and beyond any expectations one could have about what a zoo could be like. They have many hands on portions where one can touch different animals along with hides, shells, bones, among other things. They have an adventure course if you're into that kind of thing with a zip line and having to make your way through their high up obstacle course. They have a play ground and splash pad for when the little ones get restless. The train ride is a decently long one which takes you all around. And a merry-go-round. There is the skybridge or tunnel to get to one side or the other. The carnivore cafe is a bit pricey, but the food is good. The newly remodeled museum is a sight all in itself. You can easily spend an entire day just inside the museum. If you're looking for a decently priced day away, I would totally suggest the Toledo Zoo.

We have a membership here and it's totally worth it! It's an awesome family friendly place. They have events all year long, for the season and holidays. Its perfect for the summer BUT super great in the winter too because it's not as busy and with a membership there are enough things to do during short visits My favorite event so far was the Halloween little boo at the zoo. My toddlers had a blast and they had non food items at every table for trick or treaters which meant the world to me and a mom of kids with allergies. If you are a Lucas county resident you can get in for free on Mondays. Highly recommend the zoo!

Excellent place to visit not just with kids but as adults to. We have been here twice once with my sister and her kids and another time with our parents. It is huge and gets tiring but worth it.

I took my 2 kids and 2 nieces there last year. They were a handful and the staff helped out any time they ran off, which was a blessing. We ate at the restaurant in the middle of the zoo and the food was excellent.
I would take them there again. We had a good day.

The Toledo zoo is an amazing place, things you won't see everywhere! Tons of stuff to do, plenty of family fun to be had, quite the place to play Pokemon go, as well as a gift shop and plenty of food. The kids playground, educational area, aquarium and a few other attractions are newer/redone. And they have the lights on right now, the opportunities are endless!

Truly one on Toledo's treasures. Bring the grandkids and have lunch here. Easy with membership that includes parking too. Not a fan of buying food to feed the giraffes. They tend to congregate in the feeding area away from main viewing area and staff denies access to feeding area unless you pay up. Simple extortion. What next curtain off monkey cages and put in quarter slots to view them ? Over statement of course but highlights my point.

I have been there multiple times but there is always more to see. The latest time, my wife and I saw the tigers play fighting with each other, deep low growls, teeth bared, as they rolled around trying to get the upper hand. I was amazed at what they did to the aquarium, with the new tanks and the area where you can pet some tiger sharks and other ocean life. I'm equally looking forward to when they finish their remodel of the science building and all the creepy crawllies. The zoo has lots to offer and every time is an fun experience.

It was empty when we arrived. We though that its going to be a boring walk. But as the night began to fall, lightning went on and people started to arrive. A lovely and giant tree was perfectly filled with all kind of lights. And the cold weather transmuted into a cool environment. A must see.

Great place to take the kids or just spend a nice day with your loved ones. They always try and make your visit as comfortable as possible, epically the stands with misters I'm the summer time for a quick cool off when you get to hot, and a great splash park for the kids. The new aquarium is very well done, although we do miss this rainforest room, and the tumbo trail has been upgraded excellently, although I would like to see the hippo enclosure redone as well.

Took my family to the toledo zoo. Parking was easy enough to navigate with no attendant at the kiosk. Upon purchasing the ticket 2 adult and 4 child tickets they then tagged on $7.50 for parking. After walking through the first park of the zoo we found the walking deck where we were told to park our stroller. Ok, no big deal. Then walking on the the deck with my children we were asked if we were going to pay to feed the giraffes we said sure they didn't say they charge you $12 for 10 pieces of lettuce sorry I'm not paying that. They said we couldn't see the giraffes if we didn't pay to feed them (it cost me over $100 to get in the door plus parking pretty sure I paid) now my kids are unhappy because they have to get back in there strollers after not seeing what we paid to see and it all could have been avoided if the kid that told us to park our stroller would have told us I had to pay for stuff that grows in my garden so I could feed a giraffe. What is my admission and parking paying for? The other exhibits are worth mentioning. The park itself is clean and well kept and everything was easy to walk to.
