The Terminal is best for beer. The food is also pretty tasty, but the focus is on the venue (a very cool renovated railroad building near the Chattanooga Choo-Choo) and the drinks. They also have a great second floor terrace for eating outside on nice days.

I really do enjoy this place, but the service isn't always the fastest. the food is YUMMERLICIOUS and the atmosphere is very cool. Great location if you're wanting to explore a little more of downtown too.

My husband & I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for some cold beer and lunch and we ended up staying for a couple of hours. I recommend you get the flight, it really gives you a taste of what they do. The bartender Brett was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The food was very good and filling too.

Good place to catch up with friends. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. This place has a great atmosphere. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I loved to visit.

Not a $12 burger. This review is just for the food. Their beer was GREAT. I ordered the bison burger based on reviews and the waitress's recommendation. First off, I ordered it medium rare. It came out medium to medium-well, which makes bison really dry. The 6oz. burger comes on a huge roll. It's a tasty roll, but there is a full bite of bread all the way around, before you get to the meat. The accompanying fries were only lukewarm, like they had been sitting for awhile. I liked the atmosphere, I liked the waitress, I loved the beer, I liked the menu. I was really disappointed with the execution of the meal, making it not worth the $12.

Very helpful and friendly staff! In a wheelchair & all staff very accommodating in helping me in & out of the restaurant & to our table! Even put me in an elevator to get me up to the rooftop patio!
Menu items numerous, cleverly named, & described deliciously. Food served hot and sizeable portions. Needed box to take home leftovers. Not drinkers, but beer samplers & drinks looked tasty!
Will definitely dine here again! Thank you!

My group of five enjoyed lunch here during Labor Day weekend. What great food, and what a neat atmosphere! My salmon sandwich was absolutely incredible, and I've been thinking of it ever since. I want to go back and eat it again! Our server was very helpful, and the food came out quickly and was very tasty. I think everyone enjoyed their lunch! And the people who ordered the beer that is brewed here also enjoyed that. The Belgian wheat beer was very good!

Nice place to get together in downtown Chattanooga. The service staff was very attentive and service was pretty good for a Friday night. Nice selection on the menu and of course micro brews were available. I did like the fact that they would bring you a sample of a brew, if you wanted, to make sure your selection tasted good to you. I went with the Fru Fru Chicken with the Ramen noodle salad - very tasty. Others tried the Half Chicken and a build your own burger which both said were quite tasty. The youngster in our group had the beef slider which was good but kinda on the small side. If in Chattanooga give them a try, you'll be glad you did.

Positive: the food was very tasty and fresh. The Dead Sexy Scottish deep amber ale was pleasant Carmel flavor with a mild hoppy finish.
Neutral: The waitresses on the second floor seemed cordial and attentive. However after sitting for 15 minutes observing an open ketchup bottle on a table partially cleared, I had to get up and install the cap. Left me feeling as though the drive for cleanliness was lacking.
Negative: The first floor wait staff is atrocious! We stood at the entry with additional people waiting to be seated for 10 minutes. The hostess was obviously detained on the second floor, however the wait staff did everything possible to avoid interaction. This included filling ketchup bottles. Returning a patrons cell phone that was plugged into charge and physically turning to walk away when approached.

I have taken a party of colleagues there before for dinner, however based on the twenties-something crowd and servers on the first floor who were more interested in charging i-phones, filling ketchup bottles, getting intoxicated, and splitting every bill for every individual, I will most likely take my business elsewhere. What a shame. The kitchen staff is obviously very good.

Highly recommended for hanging out, socializing & eating any on afternoon or evening. The menu is full of delicious comfort food with a twist & they have something for everyone, including vegetarians. This place is a must try for Chattanooga natives & visitors alike. The philosopher (lamb) burger rivals Main Street Meats burger & beats Tremont Tavern in flavor & quality. Pair with a local beer & one of their tasty sides & you will leave full & satisfied!

It was late and for some reason I thought I was catching a train, so I decided to wait at The Terminal, as you would. Megan, the barkeep, greeted me with a lovely ale. Then another. After about 10 hours, it dawned on me that not a single train had stopped at the terminal. Nor was it on an active rail line. Nor was I even in need of a train. I left the establishment and immediately called my psychologist.

The service was not good from the start. The host seemed like it was his first day, he didn't want to be there, or he was oblivious. He was, very rude. Whether he meant to be or not, he was. I even called him out on it. After he finally acknowledged me, I let him know how many in my party. He then skipped over me asking everyone behind me how many they had...which, fine, okay, but he then continued to find out where everyone else wanted to sit all while I was standing right I front of him. I had been waiting to get acknowledged for about 15 min or more! Seriously!? Greet your customers right away and tell them you'll be with them (in the amount of time you believe). I asked him if he was going to let me know how long my wait was or if he was just going to keep being rude and ignore me. His jaw dropped and he apologized and let me know he was gonna take me back now if I was ready. I told him I was, but he continued to try to help the other couples. Finally, he took us back. It smelled gross, everything was sticky, and the food was not even hot! It was barely warm. We ordered 3 things. A burger, a buffaloaf, and a margharita pizza. The burger was not very good and burnt on the outside. The buffaloaf was not too bad, and the pizza was actually the best margharita pizza I've ever had...too bad it wasn't hot. The waitress did, without hesitation, bring hot fries after we asked for them, but failed to stay long enough to hear that we also needed mayonnaise because there was it one little dot on the burger. She was good on refills for two of us, but never brought refills for the third person. It took SO LONG to get our food. Not once did the waitress come to let us know how long it might take for the food to come out. All and all it was NOT a good experience and we won't be going back.

I started out with the craft beer sampler. Honestly, I found most of the choices not very good. IMO their wheat beer was gawd awful. The food was good although unspectacular. Nice pub-like ambience.

This was our first time and I can assure you it will be the first of many more to come. EVERYONE in wait staff was helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable! Especially our waitress who had been there for 2+years. She knew the menus up one side and down the other and was very helpful in helping make the perfect selections! Perfect! The soups, salads, buffaloes meatloaf and Lasagna entrees were amazing!
Amount of and quality of food perfect along with sitting upstairs next to a window with a beautiful view of the Chattanooga Choo Choo and downtown. Loved it, great experience... we will be back :) YUMMMMMMY!

Great place for a good brew and some grub! Reasonably priced and would return for sure. If you get TJ your in great hands...only thing is make sure you tell them to serve the fries fresh when I got them where a little on the cold side. Other than that definitely recommended!

We had the appetizer plate of cheeses, pepperoni, stuffed pepperoncini, bread, and seasonal fruit. It was exceptional. We ordered a cup of beer cheese soup that was probably in the top two we've ever had, anywhere. We ordered two small pizzas. The big meat and mega cheese. The crust was perfect, the sauce was spot on and I am a native NYer who is one tough critic when it comes to pizza. Great service, great atmosphere.

They brew their own beer, which is quite good (I can definitely say for IPAs). The food is typical for an American restaurant. It is good, and the service is pretty fast. They also allow dogs on the back porch.

My husband and I visited for dinner tonight 09/02/19 and had a wonderful time! We got a flight, pepper smashed steak and salmon patties. The food was DELICIOUS and our server TJ was AMAZING and VERY knowledgeable on the different beers and food. We will definitely be back!
