I did not stay at Taj Mahal Palace but just went there to explore. It is very beautiful and it's located exactly opposite the gateway of India which is an added bonus. Tourists should visit this place.

One of the best and expensive place but worth once a visit. I went there for coffee and deserts and coffee was not that expensive but deserts are expensive. Nice to go with friends and family. The food is good and ambiance is also very good. Fine dine. Check the bill once before paying there might be a printing mistake.

Taj Mahal palace is an iconic Hotel which has the best hospitality and ambience in place, This Majestic structure is a symbol of British Architecture and the Taj group has done great justice to it by keeping the Palace in it's original form, However as the Mmrda has laid siege to its entry and exit routes it's advisable to avoid the place or palace for a couple of years as that parking and reaching there is a pain.
Excellent ambience at the Sea Lounge overlooking the sea. Crisp dosas were a hit. A big thank you to Mr Mathew who helped in procuring jaggery for my friend's tea.

I was quarantined in Taj for 14 days. A big thank you to the staff who always checked in on me and ensured I had a comfortable stay. I was also given a surprise cake on my birthday :) Would definitely recommend Taj!

The very first Taj hotel, yet the flagship of the group does not feel part of a chain. This ornately layered Baroque imitation of a Rajput palace, described as 'saracenic revival architecture', was built by founder Jamsetji Tata as a two-finger salute to the authorities after he was denied access to the city's then top hotel. Apocryphal perhaps, but since welcoming its first guest in 1903 it has always held a special place in the Mumbaiker heart. The Tower block, built in the 1970s, is quite different in character this is the business-end of the hotel, but I love the larger windows that make for better views.

It is a very busy hotel and I think sometimes the staff are a little bit anonymous although very efficient and professional but then you find someone really friendly and your opinion changes.
The pool area and gym are first class with a large pool you can actually swim in and a great gym.
The breakfast buffet was the best we had during our month in India.

The Taj Mahal Palace, is just awesome. No other words for it. I went in here for the first time in my life and was really flattered and fascinated by the over-all show of this beautiful property. No doubt it's called a luxury and a elite 5 star property to check-in. Ambience, interiors, staff, services, etc all over of a top notch quality. I went in for a professional event in The Crystal Ball room. That's the only thing I could explore but I was not disheartened. Even the food quality and taste was delicious.
It's a proper 5 place and it absolutely doesn't disappoint!
The range of food and fashion is eclectic and so is the service! Very sharp and prompt. I would recommend dropping by the place if your around.
Please remember to wear covered footwear ( that's mainly addressing all the cool men in flip flops) else you won't be allowed inside..

What a beutiful place. When im in this hotel i can feel all that history and its heavy. Every corner have something special. Sea lounge was very nice. I had nice soup and burger. Without any mistake they were delicious. For 2 person around 4000 thousand rupees.I thought if they have littel museum in side it would be perfect and my husband told me they have it allready. I didnt see it myself. I saw around the coridors behind the windows old menu, plates, cutlery, old guests pictures, old hotel pictures also Tata familys some of picture ( i guess they build the hotel and owned)
