The view is great, nice for a coffee, its gets really busy especially on holidays and when the weather is nice on weekends.

Had a delicious breakfast of bacon, maple syrup and pancakes. Great location, view and interior.

Stopped off for chips and a coffee sat outside in the sun admiring the veiw. You can sit inside where there is a larger choice of foods. Very clean, tidy and staff were nice and friendly...Will definitely be going back.

Took the dog to the beach was a bit chilly but soon warmed up with the great service and food here. Dogs welcome throughout

Good coffee and a decent breakfast for after the nearby parkrun on a Saturday morning

It's a nice spot on Lancing seafront for sure but I can't get past how bland the food was - it's not bad but it's not actually that nice either. Reasonably priced though, so can't complain too much.

For some reason, the burgers are served with an ridiculously macho and somewhat aggressive steak knife rammed into the bun. Not sure if they're trying to send a message there (I jest - I think I know what they were aiming at - maybe tone down the carnivore chic a tad).

The staff seemed a bit detached from their jobs as well unfortunately - that I can't abide by, especially when they're talking to my 75 year old parent. Train your staff to care a bit more.

Brilliant place to enjoy delicious coffee and scrummy food looking out to sea. Also cannot fault the service - I lost a ring on Sunday and they have been so helpful in finding it and getting it back to me. 10/10 from me!

Right on the beach front which is great.

They were dry, crispy & overcooked with no potato inside.
Had to smother them on sauce.

At 10:50 we stood next to a big sign in the cafe which said breakfast served until 11:30. We were told they had stopped serving breakfast as they had to clear the kitchen, ready for lunch. Their suggestion was that we get there earlier next time.

The food was amazing absolutely amazing for the price.......the guy owned an apartment upstairs to the restaurant and what a beautiful place lovely decorated close to beaches lovely to chill in evenings and listen to the waves and wake up to a lovely sunrise

Pricey for the area but good food well cooked and tasty. Staff pleasant but internal policies are a bit random it seems you can only have fish and chips in the cafe and yet you can have a sausage bap in the restaurant. Weird. Please review with customers in mind. Clean and reasonably well organised even if my tea arrive 10minutes before my friends diet coke and then only after promoting!

Service and food were good, as was the view! Expensive addons though (3.50 for a couple of extra slices of French bread!) However I'd definitely return, the location is spot on on a quiet stretch of beach and it is nice and welcoming inside.

Perfect setting right on the beach with nice, well prepared food. Staff could be a little friendlier and accommodating, but do they have to be with a constant stream of customers...

Great location, food and beer; a little slow with service because it gets VERY busy here on weekends. Prepare to wait 30mins for a table in the restaurant. Great for families

Good location on the beach. Doing a Rushi 50% off until the end of September on Friday & Saturday. Food was very good.

Overcooked bacon in a brioche bap and a long wait for coffee. Poor service not one to remember.

Great food and service as always. No matter how busy this place gets they always get stuff to you quick and we'll prepared. Fantastic work, recommended.

Was looking forward to a nice lunch with my husband,the food was awful! When are plates were cleared we told the young girl that we had not enjoyed our food.

We then spoke with the manager and she did take money of our bill.

Nice venue on beach!
Limited menus and busy most times I've been. Nice little coffee bar whilst waiting for table.

One of the best restaurant we have ever been on the see side, fish and chips to die for, well recommending to everyone.

First visit and will be coming back. It's dog friendly which is a plus for us, nice location and the restaurant looked good although we didn't eat there. Star was removed for a latte and a tea taking quite a while to be served. It wasn't busy so I get the feeling you'd be in for quite a wait in the summer when it is.

A great place to go to for walks along the beach and grab a coffee. They do different coffee's and they're always nice. Shame about the company I was with a few of the times, but that's a different story!
Would definitely recommend for food and drinks when it and about.

Slow service & Limited menu chooses ! Can't blame the slow service on volumes of customers as was there at 12noon on a Tuesday, took me 25 minutes to get a coffee in the restaurant area. I was up for a bite to eat & was presented with a menu, unfortunately everything on it was geared towards the diner market & no lunch options / light bites what so ever, very disappointing!

Outstanding views, food ok but not a fan of dogs in eating places

Perch is lovely, what a location, you simply cannot beat coffee and cake outside looking at the sea in the sun. Great for after parkrun, they were very busy, but as always the service is impeccable.

Two stars because: coffee was bitter/burned, staff were inflexible about eating food from the main menu outside, and the service was poor (slow prompts, food arrived LONG before drinks). Food was good though.

Always a great stop for coffee, brunch and lunch! Often busy but right on the beach so lovely even the sun is out. Reasonable pricing. Great coffee and good food.

Myself and a group of friends went to the Perch this evening for the Steak night; what a great evening........... I have been going to the Perch for breakfast and Lunch for more time than can remember and yet again they have excelled themselves, the evening was relaxed, great service, great food and fantastic staff including Irma who looked after us for the evening. All of the staff are a credit to themselves and the venue, Keep up the good work.

Given its venue right on the beach, it could get away with a lot worse. Packed full of flavour, servings good, price, although not cheap, is excellent value and fair for the quality turned out. Reminded me of the better beach cafes in oz. Staff a bit distracted and had to remind them of the coffee ordered, overall great though

Always good food and service. Possibly the best fish & chips I've eaten but it isshame the breakfast menu doesn't get served for longer. Great location right near the park and very dog friendly.

Always very enjoyable. Especially on a summers day. Food is always very well prepared and staff are excellent. Coffee is very nice too.

NO COFFEE AFTER 3:15PM ?!?!
Went in and asked if they were doing coffee till 4pm and they said they were so, we went for a walk and then went back around 3:35pm and they said they were no longer taking orders as they had started to clean the coffee machine. This is not the first time this has happened and why say you are and then shut down shop?! I'd love to know if the owner actually knows this as it seems it's done so staff can walk out the door at 4pm on the dot.

My review was not in regards to boxing day. I stated this is not the first time this has happened, it has occurred multiple times since you have opened so, please understand my frustration when I have spoken to the manager about more than once and my feedback is not taken on board. You have taken this criticism out of hand, and was not meant with any malicious intent. I have only posted on here and tripadvisor which is hardly excessive. It follows the guidelines as I have experienced your business first hand on multiple occasions (as previously mentioned this was not my first visit).

Perfect as always. Staff really friendly and helpful.
