Great environment, beautiful view and amazing food.

Love this place - the service - the food - the atmosphere - the view - love it all

went for lunch arrived at 12 . ordered baquette with cold beef filling.Surprised to be told had sold out of baquettes at 12.15 whats going on. The place is great and the views brilliant shame could not have our choice of food.

Lovely place. Right on the beach so you can eat a main meal or coffee and a cake looking out onto the beach. Fabulous.

Unfortunately the staff ruined the experience here, especially the manager!
Very expensive coffee and food, food quite bland. Cluttered and dirty/dusty poorly laid out with a long waiting time for food. Food was not cooked properly and needed to complain, manager very rude and pretty dumb, kept on repeating himself not listening to us!
Shame it could be so much better with a new manager and trained staff.

The Team at Perch were outstanding. The food was great and the service was fantastic. We used them for catering breakfast for a meeting and then hosting lunch for the same meeting. We were all very impressed. Plus we had the added bonus of an outstanding view. Thanks to the team for all their help!

Top top breakfast - worth driving the 40 miles we drive for... just wish it was nearer to home!

I went for my works xmas party. The food was lush and the service was perfect.

This place is dog friendly as long as all 4 paws stay on the floor (their words). The food was well cooked but there is limited choice. We had to wait for a table in the resturant side, I couldn't understand this as they had at least 8 empty tables for most of our visit. Service was slow but sometimes its not a problem. They forgot out drinks which we ordered to come out with the food. It was rectified when we asked. Not sure about a return visit. Would probably go to the bluebird cafe along the coast.

Disgusting veggie bap.. super expensive and was cold, drowned in sweet chilli and stale. AVOID AT ALL COST

What a great place to eat. The sea that morning looked like it was going to heave it's way through the windows. It's was packed, but they gave us a number and texted us when table was ready. Good service good breakfast. Especially if your Keto.
Will go again.

What a fab fab place, just had lunch with the family.food really lovely and reasonably priced.staff really friendly . We we're lucky as place was very busy but gave us a text when table was ready.
Good tip - decide off the menu before hand as food can be delayed coming out due to volume of customers.staff member did advise of the food delay but we did not have to wait long and not disappointed

Love this place, the location is perfect and the food is lovely. However when it comes to coffee the cappuccino is overpriced and badly made, more like a standard white coffee with chocolate on top.Not good enough.

This place is lovely on a summer's day but in the winter its crammed and you'll be lucky to find a seat. Food is nice and staff work hard to keep everyone happy which is hard

Great food, but be prepared to wait a little for a table. They've got a great system where you can leave your name and number and they'll text you when your table is ready! Leaving you enough time to wander up the beach and back. Dog friendly, and great value. We will be back!!

No frills, no fuss ... just good food and friendly staff

Very disappointed. After reading the reviews I was looking forward to my visit . They advetised a dish of smoke salmon , poached eggs, hollandaise sauce etc . I wished to order my usual morning feed of 4 poached eggs on toast with smoke salmon . Even though they advertised that smoke salmon and poached eggs were available they would not do what I had asked for as it was not specifically on the menu .
How hard is it to charge for smoke salmon and poached eggs on toast with 2 extra eggs !!! I travel the uk weekly with work and this is the only time ever I have come across a very non accommodating cafe.
In the end I had 2 poached eggs (4 were not available) and smoked salmon.
Unfortunately the poached eggs were over cooked .
This cafe needs to be more accommodating to customers needs and learn how to do a poached egg .

Fish and chips are great. Outside seating directly on the beach. Modern and clean venue. Dogs allowed outside and in the bar area.

Lovely place for a coffee or a cheeky glass of wine on a Summer's afternoon / evening. If you want to eat at the weekend, it is best to book in advance. Very popular. Just what Lancing needed.

Great place for hot drinks after a bracing walk along the boardwalk .Coffee is lovely, and the cheesy chips are to die for!

Love The Perch. The service is really efficient and they do great coffee and cake, light bites and full sized meals. Great location right on the beach and good selection of beers and wine. My only criticism is that they don t stay open for long enough!

Arrived before midday on Sunday and the cafe had absolutely no brownies, shortbread, or biscuits of any kind

A treat for the eyes and the tastebuds! Tasty fresh food served in a lovely building on Lancing Beach, with fantastic views over the sea and Lancing Green.

waited half an hour for a table, to order a beef hot pot that was mainly onion and tough as nails. disappointing as usually a great feed and staff are lovely, will avoid for a little while.

Great place to eat and go. Great care taken re Covid and staff were very friendly. I would recommend.

Stopped coming here last year after a couple of visits with really poor service. It seems a small improvement has been made, although food wasn't as good as before (despite new menu). If waiting staff spent less time chatting, looking at thier tablets and standing around and more time attending to customers, it would make for a better overall experience. Regretfully, we have been dissapointed one too many times to return.

Great position on the beach,modern and friendly staff.

This is a great place for breakfast or brunch after a walk along the seafront. Almost always busy during the weekend so be prepared to wait for service... my tip is to order at the bar and sit outside on the benches looking over the beach.
