Sorry but worst place ever. They stuffed up our order and then told my poor mum that the kitchen was now closed and she wouldn't be getting a meal at all and there was nothing they could do. What a joke!!!

I attended a family birthday dinner on Sunday night, my sister in-law was 22, my partner and I both 21, and their mum and dad, my partner, sister in law and myself ordered dinner for everyone together and then went to the bar to order all drinks, we all showed ID to the very abrupt duty manager who looked at my partners ID and said you fixed your hair, was abit messy here and then looked at my ID and told me it looks nothing like me because I had no makeup on in my ID photo, which then made me feel disgusting and ugly, she also then told me it looks nothing like me to the fact that she doesn t want to except my ID, I have a half sleeve of tattoos, I was with my family who were all my age, I had the piece of paper from the front entry also which I showed the lady and she told me no that makes no difference thank god for the girl next to her making a drink who said yes you can tell it s her just no makeup, she then hestistantly said ok, whilst telling me I need to update it ( no one else has ever told me it doesn t look like me as it clearly does ) she made me feel so disgusting and embarrassed in front of everyone. We also ordered 3 drinks for us, 2 wines, one beer then went to order one more beer and a coke for our parents, which she told us there s only 3 of you in front of me so no which was the most stupid thing I ve ever heard. I have managed bars and have a current RSA myself, I am disgusted in the way I was treated and would never return with my family. This manager needs to be taught how to treat paying customers in a kindly manner.

This place ticks all of the boxes ... the venue was really busy but they were organised and we just waited whilst enjoying a drink before we got a table. Staff were friendly and efficient. The food was amazing, best spaghetti marinara I have ever eaten and the views were spectacular. Our toddler was given a colouring set which kept her busy... highly recommended this place!

The surf club always has a great energy! Who wouldn't love a cold beer on tap, whilst watching the waves roll in. Some more outdoor decking would be perfect but still, not a game changer as they generally always have their wall sized windows open; taking in the gorgeous views. Cold beer on tap and a great selection of food, makes this place pretty inviting.

I'm a local and haven't been to the Surf Club in over 12 month so was so happy to see they had opened upstairs to the public. Such a great idea being able to by food and drinks up there along with the fantastic entertainment. We also meet the Manager who came upstairs to do a meet and greet which is refreshing to see.

I find the Surf Club Mooloolaban lunch and dinner ...

I find the Surf Club Mooloolaban lunch and dinner menu, for the most part, far too expensive. It is cheaper and much better quality food, to visit a lot of cafes & restaurants in Mooloolaba or Alex or Kawana or Maroochydore etc. You pay for the name not for quality food!

Went for dinner tonight, busy because of holidays, but no problem finding a table for 2. The Barra was excellent and we were both happy with our meal, cheesecake as a finish, all good. As we live at the Gold Coast and were only visiting: Would recommend this Club like many others I have visited so far. Well priced for a good meal.

Great day...however prawn and smoked salmon main was entree size for $28 we got 3 prawns, 1slice of smoked salmon. We were offered drinks or cocktails in leau, we said no but will you give us 50% off a bottle of wine, they said yes we will... however we got 10% off a White wine.... great service, disappointed with the food,... as a restaurateur I valued my 3 prawns and thin slice of smoked salmon at $5 ... unacceptable... especially when we were drinking... management contact me....

Very less than average chicken parmigiana this afternoon. Lacking flavour, texture and crunch. Chips and salad weren't anything to write home about either. Save your money and buy an actual pub meal.
