Top location friendly staff. $5 a year for membership and good discounts.

Good meals, pricey drinks. No smoking area, and very busy for a small venue. Can get overcrowded most of the time

Visited this place last year and gave it a 5 star rating unfortunately the two visits this week resulted in a different result. Steak was tough as nails and not cooked to order, returned it then the same bit of meat was rehashed on a fresh bit of mash and placed in front of me,,, really? If your paying $30 odd for it you expect it to be somewhat pleasant to eat not something so tough that you can make a boot from it. Staff were friendly but the kitchen crew needs to find good suppliers not what seems to be budget beef buys.

Not the best place if you're looking for somewhere relaxing or something worth your money.

Staff where very friendly , garlic bread was really nice, sirloin was a little chewy on a bed a of tasty mash , basically not much else $ 30 for sirloin, not very big , won't go back.

Good staff, wine & coffee. A pleasant atmosphere which isn't "clubby"

Great place because of the well priced food and the manager put in some new carpet which is very comfortable and suits the club.

Very friendly staff and a great selection of meals. Plenty of seating and nice views looking out over the sea.

Nice views of the beach. Meals aren't cheap though & some entrees came out with mains. Steaks were tough & gristly & sauces not served on the right meal plates. Not good value for money.

For a $20 steak it was tiny. They also don t offer veggies unless the buffet was open. They lacked variety in their meals too it was either burger steak or salad.

Look, I was at the surf club on New Years Eve for lunch. What an experience. These guys are warm, friendly, patient and they have a system of seating and feeding everyone that is so logical and instantly relaxed everyone in the club. It was not the hectic, delayed, expensive lunch I thought it was going to be.

Great people, excellent view, good menu - do it.

Great spot, upstairs restaurant ordinary. View better but food similar to to tonight ordering downstairs

Can take a very long time to get a table and to get to the front of the line to order food during peak periods. Streak is excellent, as well as the salt and pepper calamari.

Loving the Surf Club for wedding receptions. Chat with Roxanne for that extra special treatment.

Excellent for enjoying a relaxing drink on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The meals were great too.

Bar staff were extremely rude. Kitchen staff were friendly. Kids menu has changed and you can no longer order a kids roast dinner. Only unhealthy choices for kids meals. Adults meals are not as good quality or as good value as 12 months ago. Supposedly they are under new management. I preferred the old management

We ve been coming to Mooloolaba Surf Club for 17 years. When we were expats overseas we still remained members. It is our recommended Club on the coast in every way. Thank u staff. Love it.

Classic Club Food. Prices are okay, cheaper than some of the other restaurants around. It is an easy and reliable choice if you are visiting. Nice atmosphere when I was there as they had a local singer playing.

Not much of a variety of dishes, but still good food.

Terrible service and food overpriced. Dont bother go somewhere else.

Right on the beach nice views.Food was great I got the red curry and rice my partner got the calamari starter.Little pricey? Went for a swim afterwards.

COVID has hit hard everywhere but these guys are still open a producing good food at a fair price. AND the beer is cold plus the service friendly.

Typical pub grub done well. Friendly service and a beautiful position.

Have only been twice for meals. First time our order was wrong & had to wait for them to re do. Second time, after waiting over 45min for breakfast found out our meals had been forgotten. No apologies or explanation. To add insult to injury, our meals arrived on paper plates with plastic forks and knives. Not good enough.

Always have a good time here, the live acts are generally very interactive and staff is always smiling.

Nice view and location. Dumb system for ordering food not explained anywhere. Person taking order frustrated and rude. Meal was nothing special but was delivered quickly by friendly waitress.
If you are just going for a beer it would be a good place.

Best burger I have ever had, The Surf Club Mooloolaba Double Beef and Bacon Burger. 9.5 out 10. Absolutely filling and beautiful and right next to the beach. Definitely gonna remember this place, will have to go back sometime. Friendly staff too! There was a mixup with the burger at a different table and they had to throw them out and make new ones but as compensation we got a round of drinks on the house. Lovely place.

Well.... Tried few times..Still rude and arrogant at reception. Probably they make too much profit to care customers.or because there is a great view there that saves their business.

I tried food and that was not "special". Just average and expensive.

Some other surf clubs are better.
Disappointed.

If you are only going for the views and/or a beer it's great , Just don't go for the food as it's overpriced and pretty ordinary.
