Pay parking available on site, free for in-house guests. The hotel has begun to show its age, which can be seen from the rooms to its facilities, or lack thereof. There is no gym/fitness center, while swimming hours are until 7pm only. The television in our room was small (about 24") compared to what you'd expect in other hotels.

The word "old" summarizes it up. The balcony floor is very dirty and dusty. The bed is hard as stone. The TV is the smallest I've seen in any hotel room. The bathroom sink is leaking the metal is rusted. Food smells in the walkway leading to the rooms. In summary it's a hotel in desperate need for maintenance. The breakfast buffet however is the best I had in any hotel in terms of quantity of food and taste.

The function room down the hall is a bit noisy, the wallpaper is nice albeit trying to peel a bit and the room is back off the road so I'm happy with the noise level. 1 flight of stairs and no elevator to me doesn't deserve a 1 star review. Very neat and tidy here. Bathroom is a bit bijou but it's as much as a body can want. Small TV but that's not a problem for me. Pool area looks inviting in the heat, aircon isn't too noisy and the staff are a real gem

They should improve their sound system. If they cannot provide a fully charged battery, they should refrain from using those effin cordless microphones. And please the basement rooms smell moldy.

The humanesque aquarium of yore is gone since being under new management.

But the new interior has brightened up the hotel.

Cafe Paraiso lunch buffet is limited.
Food wasn't bland at all.

Discovered a tasty corn-breaded fish fillet to go do try a home-reinvention version of.

Ala carte was a bit disappointing for the parents who wanted to try something new, alas some menu selection(s) had ran out.

Front door & hotel staff were very courteous and helpful.

Location is okey and just at the back of Quezon City Hall. It is also near Phil Heart Center and lots of restaurants to choose from if you prefer to eat outside the hotel. Function rooms are also available for meetings.

It's a bit worn and antique-looking, compared to other hotels in the area. But what it lacks in modernity it makes up for great location and excellent customer service. The staff were friendly and very accommodating.

Pros: A+ location. Amazing food (a bit pricey, though). Helpful staff. Not too traffic.

Cons: Lacks modern facilities, need to upgrade beddings, hot&cold shower not consistent temperature.

Will visit again? If I need to finish a lot of errands in the area, probably. But for a staycation, i'll check other hotels in the area.

Definitely a far cry from the hotel I know in the 1990s. Inside it has deteriorated a lot and isn't well maintained. And it's so hot inside the function room in the basement. The food is just so so. Accommodation rates are reasonable. If you need to be in the area then better stay there than the nearby motels.

Very unprofessional staff especially people in banquet services who are supposed to be in charge of booking meetings and events. Such rude staff Very condescending attitude. - such a shame I could not remember their names (so difficult to pronounce) so I can write here. Would be nice if another big name hotel were available nearby apart from this one near East Avenue. Too bad this is the closest one to government offices.

Nice and clean with complimentary breakfast buffet. Late night Karaoke downstairs for the after party, and a 24 hour McDonald's across the street.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, I only stayed here one night while attending a wedding in the area and it was enjoyable. The pool area is very clean and pleasant to take a dip in, to escape the heat and the sun.

Would only come back to stay here out of sheer convenience, wouldn't say this is a must stay when in Manila.
