My partner surprised me with a night here for our anniversary, and it was perfect! Lovely rooms with private porches, and the garden area in the center of the hotel is so peaceful. We really appreciated the "adults only" rule as well. We'll definitely be back, especially to spend more time in the spa!

A beautiful spot for detoxing, relaxing, and watching a Miami sunset. Bring a bathing suit, in order to enjoy the pool and spa. There are several exercise activities for hotel guests to enjoy.
Cozy and chic, a place that provides a nice private from the hustle and bustle of Miami Beach. All while still being centrally located and minutes from the beach.
Their slogan: Nothing like The Standard My conclusion: Anything but The Standard
Any hotels highest priority should be their guests and their well being. The Management cannot really be faulted for the airplane noise, for the hotel being in the landing corridor for Miami International Airport. What they could care about should be a modern digitally controlled air conditioning in the room, which does not only switch on and off with a noise level that wakes you up each time it comes on or switches off. I am now awake once again since 4:30 am in the morning sitting in my bed in my Garden Terrace Bath Large room facing a stone garden, a fabric curtain, a walkway and a wooden fence, counting the 7th service supply trolly rattling by since 4:30 am on its way to the breakfast restaurant. Looking forward for them to be pulled back noisily to where they came from at midnight tonight! Don t come to this hotel if you are looking for a good night sleep and rest!
My favorite place in Miami. We book The Standard as a getaway from everything. Adult-only, with a massive pool and an incredible Hamam that makes for a great, cozy stay even if the weather turns out to be cold.
This time around, Chris at the spa really made my stay. I went in on a Saturday at noon looking for a facial that evening but Chris told me they only had openings the next morning, which wouldn't work with our flight back. While I looked around the spa testing products, Chris checked in with one of the aestheticians to see if she'd stay later and - much to my delight! - he offered me a facial that evening at 5:45. It was such a nice, unexpected surprise. Thanks, Chris! You made my vacation so much better and you are an asset to The Standard!
Genuinely love this hotel so much! I no longer stay anywhere else in Miami because I think this place is the right vibe and right price! I could spend every day at Standard Miami by the pool, in the spa or doing yoga on the dock! Seriously this place is the perfect escape.
Plus: No children allowed and you can go topless. The spa is great. The pool is very nice. The ceviche with patacones and the fish tacos were great. The massage was ok. Cons: pets are allowed near the pool. While we were in the pool a dog pooped near the edge of the pool. We spoke with management and they scoped it but did not put bleach or any cleaning agent. It needs some improvements as it is showing its age. Tiles are broken. In The female locker rooms half of the lockers were broken.
I love this place! Might just be my favorite spot here in Miami ever since I moved here from California. Has a very chill yet sophisticated vibe which is just not easy to do. The spa is definitely one of the most relaxing spas I've been to around Miami where I could just hang back in the Hamam and soak up the heat or literally sit in an essential oil infused tub before or after the spa treatment and then sit in the steam and detox. People there are beautiful and make you feel so relaxed.
If you're coming here for the ambulance and the location being right next to the Sea you will not be disappointed. This is a fantastic place to bring a date or just to hang out with your work colleagues. This place offers a great View both Before Sunset and after Sunset when it gets dark. There is a good selection of food for both vegetarians and meat-lovers. However be prepared for extremely slow service. It took almost 45 minutes for a table of 4 to receive our entrees. Trip to Miami style there is a lack of service and it is apparent here. The food is also overpriced with them charging for every small substitution.
Always a fun and relaxing time there. Their monthly bingo was a blast also that's how I first found this little oasis a long time ago and have been going ever since.
We enjoyed our afternoon at The Standard Spa. While the massages and amenities were great, the best part of the experience was the pool and deck that overlooks the ocean and the incredible gardens throughout the property. There is a fun energy and very calming sense we felt while there. Would certainly go back.
It was OK, I chose the medium bath hotel room and there is no real privacy the men look through the curtains as you bathe but I did enjoy having my bath outdoors I am a nudist so no big deal. The food is not good at all but it is located near really good restaurants. My massage was mediocre and for $180 outright dissappointing my spa treatment is the reason I chose this hotel and let me tell you that weird burrito with body scrub body facial feels gross like the woman drafted a random business plan and they just allowed her to put face rub on your body then wrap you in sheets then rock you like a baby it's weird, awkward and feels nasty cold wet sheets. It was a staycation for me and it was very very basic and expensive.
Amazing Hotel am a local and have the spa membership and it is truly a great deal. I love the extensive ameneties the vibe and ambiance ceated by the staff and grounds very exclusive and very helpful staff. I love the cleanliness of everything and the attention to detail in most aspects. Higly recommend the stay and membership to those intrested.
I work in Miami Beach as a chiropractor at cafe of life chiropractic. I drove by one day and it looked amazing so I decided to take my family there for a little Staycation. They treated us like royalty and even gave us a complimentary Dinner. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Miami Beach this is the place to be.
I love the hotel but the service at the restaurant isn t the best. At least two waiters in a period of two days were rude and in such a bad mood while serving us. The other downside is that I forgot some stuff in my room during my stay and it got lost and never found.
Beautiful view at Lido. The food is adequate at best. The Maitre 'D Chanita can use some work. She is very rude. We have been coming here for years and I am not sure we will be back.
View from the Lido Grill bar was amazing & romantic. Highly recommend the grilled mussels... Pina colada looked better than tasted. Great "bay view" ambience
Really enjoyed my stay. For the price you re paying though, the TVs are extremely small. The available channels is pretty bad. You get more of a selection of channels at a 2 star hotel. Overall, I did enjoy my stay and the privacy of the rooms are pretty good. I like how you get to walk out of your room and walk straight to the restaurant, pool, and view of the ocean. You can actually get into the ocean AND have your boat nearby which is DOPE. The view is breathtaking and relaxing. The food is good. The beds are extremely comfortable and I had a hard time getting out of it. Also, for the price you pay, the shower should be something out of a movie. I like how it face down from the ceiling but it should be two shower heads. The staff were perfect, food was perfect, and the amenities were perfect. Our fridge was loaded with goodies. If you re a drinker, they got you covered. I don t drink to get drunk so I didn t touch any of it. I would hate to waste it. I would definitely stay again. Room 21 is definitely in the best position in my opinion. I personally would stay again.
My wife and I were visiting Miami for 2 days only. We heard about this place from an Uber driver, and could not be more grateful! The Standard offers excellent mixed drinks and wine, with seats on a dock overlooking the city/bay, where one can see the sunset over the skyline. There are also some lovely areas to sit next to fires, on swings, really just a beautiful place with lovely amenities. Also, a great happy hour from 4 to 7. Planning on returning to The Standard when we come back to Miami. Highly recommended
Went to support the DJ, left with a new place I'd love to come back to. The patio is comfortable and very conducive to hanging out with a friends or a date. The view of the water is astounding, allowing you to view the open water, beautiful yachts, and the buildings of Miami Beach. Food choices area limited, but very tasty. Check out Brian Jones every Friday night!
Beautiful outdoor and pool area with views of the bay. Great food. The upkeep in the hamam was not the best as it shockingly, had quite a few broken tiles and showers; not a good look.
Wow what a fun hotel, Has an amazing place to have lunch on the water beautiful pool outside, I got to try their spa they have the best steam Room ever... Really nice place to spend the day...
Wonderful place to spend the day! You can even jump in the ocean from right by the pool. Their Thai coconuts are some of the best I've had, and I haven't met a cocktail or juice there I haven't liked
This is one of my favorite hotels to hang out at in Miami. The staff is always accommodating. The restaurant is delicious and offers a little something for everyone. I love that they do events like Bingo and the Lazy Sunday BBQ. The outdoor aspect is my favorite. I can just enjoy the dj, the food and the view of the gorgeous Biscayne bay for hours in preparation for Monday. Both the pool and the jacuzzi are fun fun fun as well.
It was a great experience but it was hampered by the fact that if someone gifts you an evening there paid by their credit card online. With your name on the reservation, they still make you pay for the services.
I understand wanted to avoid fraud but they never stipulated to the purchaser that if you gift someone a spa session the receiver of the gift still has to pay.
Great place, stunning views, food on point, perfect location. I went for a private event but I heard that the happy hour is really good too. If you want to see a great sunset and have good food is a place to go ! Enjoy as well some spa treatment and you have your afternoon planned.
Very nice and beautiful sea view a spectacular job for the employees who maintain the cleanliness of the rooms and the whole hotel. It is good to stimulate them with the salary increase is my humble opinion. Congratulations.
The restaurant was a good choice for mother's day. The view was amazing and the weather was great. The food could've been a bit better i.e. have more options but it was still a nice time.
The atmosphere can almost make it a 5. But the service was sub par, and the food was over priced for the taste. I would recommend solely on the view and atmosphere.
Super nice hotel right on Venetian Islands with almost perfect view of the Miami skyline. For tourists one of the best hotels - unfortunately not cheap, but worth the money.
The greatest lalaland to getaway and play on the planet. The best vibe, most beautiful Miami views, yoga classes on the doc, succulent garden with mud baths in claw foot bathtubs a true representation of Miami cultural arts. Get lost all More
The Standard is our favorite place to stay when my wife and I visit Miami. The location is great since it s not too close to the craziness of Ocean Drive, but still close to great restaurants and all the best of Miami Beach. The spa services are possibly the best in the world. The pool overlooking the west bay is amazing. The food and atmosphere are second to none. It s also an adults only facility, which makes it even better.
Worst experience... They charged me for the room twice (they said it would only be for a deposit). Since then I ve been trying to get hold of them and it s absolutely impossible. The manager is never there. Shame on them.
