Wonderful service! The staff was very helpful and attentive - all went out of their way to take care of customers.

5 star hospitality. Very good breakfast menu. Excellent hotel to stay in.

Location is "ok". Not really walking distance to the shopping or square. Hotel does seem a little dated. Service is "ok", never did I once meet my butler though. SPG Platinums get breakfast and happy hour at the Press Club Bar which is a nice touch. Internet is fast. Gym is good. Pool too.

Poor location. Dishonest billing practices with the hotel as well.

Absolute excellence. The room was amazing, the food was very good and the service was over the top. This place had everything one could ever need when visiting Beijing.

Great service, people are always extremely nice. It is an old hotel but everything are being upgraded and improved.

Service is very average, barely 4 star standard. The facility is not great either.

All I can say is that it was ok. I wasn't impressed. It might be one of the better hotels in Beijing, but that doesn't equal the best. Breakfast was $42 US. Seriously? I can afford it and did, but that is steep no matter where you go for breakfast. Will not be going back.

The doorman responded very carefully and pleasantly, so it was helpful to go anywhere. Although the cocktail time in the bar was available with the platinum privilege, the content of the snack was good and the atmosphere was calm and I was able to spend meaningful time. It is one of the hotels I would like to visit again.

Great breakfast buffet with the best banana bread. Big compliment to the kitchen! Well worth it for anyone looking for a "western" breakfast with fresh rolls, braid, omelette etc. Especially Swiss.

I would highly recommend this property - its well kept, clean and beautiful with spacious rooms. The offered amenities are great; such as the butler, the large selection at included breakfast buffet, discounts on food and spa; and the happy hours. The level of service and desire to make the guests happy is beyond five stars. I'm very well traveled and I don't think I've ever encountered a staff that is so gracious. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome - with special recognition for Neil at the concierge desk; Effy at the front desk; and the property manager Henry; for making my stay so enjoyable. I don't remember the names of the other folks I interacted with; the butlers; and bellman -but all were helpful. During our stay we used the spa; the breakfast each day; and had dinner at the property. No complaints. I would be eager to return again to this property and recommend it to future travelers.

A classic 5 Star hotel. Excellent services and close to Tian An Men and other attractions.

All great, close to city center and forbidden city. Next to metro station, 1 hour from PEK airport by metro or 30mins by taxi. Just 1 metro stop from main railway station. Fast speed railway is around 20-30mins away. Staff is ok, except their english sometimes could be better.

One of the grand old dames of Beijing ...formerly a members only sports club where important members of the party and the foreign community worked out this sits right in the heart of embassy row in Beijing on very very expensive real estate. The rooms used to be one of the best in town (competition in recent years have unfortunately made this a historical as opposed to a current claim ) and the writers bar was a favorite as well as the garden courtyard but the food has always been a let down - but the charm and old world grandeur continues to make this place a favorite for many a traveler. Wander far enough into the hotel and you will come across a very very good Chinese tea shop

The St.Regis Beijing is one of the most amazing hotels in Beijing. I have visited many other hotels in Beijing and none are really as homely but at the same time luxurious as the St.Regis. I have visited The Charadon hotel and the four seasons hotel and although they are amazing I still prefer the St. Regis. The kindness and overall politeness just makes this hotel stand out. They have amazing food including many meats and seafood, Chinese food western food and of course, desserts. The Italian food and the breakfast food is the best in my opinion, as their pizza is so exotic yet simple it's impressive and the bacon is cooked to perfection. I don't eat seafood because my body is incapable of eating it but the food at the St.Regis was so exotic and smelt so good it was so tempting not to eat it. The staff are really polite and kind. The salad bar ran out of passion fruit, and I asked the staff if they had more. They apologized and said they would have more in just a minute. Five minutes later a kind staff lady delivered a passion fruit salad with grapes mint presented beautifully and apologized for the lack of passion fruit at the bar. The gardens are amazing at the St.Regis and were filled with flowers trees and water fountains. The inside of the hotel was so homely and sweet while maintaining luxuriousness to show that you weren't at any ordinary hotel. I would definitely go to the St.Regis hotel if I had to choose.

I was hungry in the evening so I would like to eat sandwiches or hamburgers and go to a cafe The clerk is puzzled because it only understands Chinese An English-speaking clerk came out along the way, and if the hotel guest could eat it at any time, he was taken to a guest-only lounge I have a free buffet and I can put it on my stomach for a while, but I have come to travel and want to eat something better even with the money. It seems that you do not have a sense of business or you do not want to deal with troublesome customers, even if they are sold Dinner is Chinese food on the second floor. It is too early to bring food. Although it is only a Beijing duck and meat came out, it brings to dessert at a stretch. The dessert was ice cream, so I had to hurry to eat. Today, I drank coffee in the St. Regis Hall. The environment is still kept as good as the service. The Japanese cuisine is also served. The Japanese dishes are to be strengthened.

I stayed in the St. Regis in August, 2018 with my 8 year old child. I did try to write a review directly on the Marriott/SPG web-site but now with the merger 100% "official" it did not allow me to. I read all the reviews......and was a little concerned to stay here (I am SPG/Marriott Plat. for Life). But it was an amazing hotel for my first trip to China (with an 8 year old in tow!). Trust me, it was not "perfect" but after a very long days of sightseeing with millions of Chinese tourists, the St. Regis was the perfect escape! Pros: amazing breakfast, excellent happy hour (5-7pm), wonderful "business center", 6 minute walk to the "subway", very nice rooms, the SPA was superb(recommend the "chinese massage") and the in-door poor was excellent to "cool" down after a hellish hot day in Beijing! Cons: "butler service" was horrible (tea I ordered for the 7:00am was arriving at 9:30pm??!!), very little English spoke by the concierges, no wake-up call and spa was confirming my appointment at 10:30PM - woke me up! They do need to work on their "customer" service. But the good-bye we received from the staff (general manager to bell boy) will be a wonderful memory. A special thanks to Effie at the front desk - she was a delight to speak to every day and her help was priceless! For the price-point, the St. Regis Beijing offers an excellent experience! Enjoy!

Very neat, clean and comfy Hotel. I was there for 3 Christmas tree celebration. Had 4 meals there and be there more than 10 days. The lobby has a very specific smell that I can still remember from its photos! Very professional personnel. Worth the price. The hotel is in a very strategic location near Jianguomenwai diplomatic apartment, Canadian hospital (UFH Jianguo clinic), 5 minutes walk to Ritan park. Near U-town, The place, Parkview green, Silk Market malls. A 24hrs Cantonese restaurant is 1 minutes away in addition to BLT restaurant, ATM, Starbucks, Subway, Yunnan cuisine, Jenni Wang supermarket (friendship), happiness mart, iMax. 2.2Km ride to forbidden city and Tian anmen sq. that you can go straight the Jianguomen street to the west by bike. Near drugstore, spa and... 5 minutes walk to exit B, Jianguomenwai subway station line 1,2.

Nice and clean place. Convenient for a daily or weekly stay in Beijing. Close to the hotel there are convenient public transport options. You can count on the full assistance of the staff, both in terms of accommodation and service, and to help you with information or organization to the sights of the city. The rooms are decent. In the morning you can enjoy a good breakfast.
