Great Service, Food, Cocktails

The Radisson Blu is in the perfect location for visiting Bergen, near to attractions, shops, restaurants, and the bus from the airport. Our room was spacious and comfortable. My spouse was ill during our trip to Bergen, and the housekeeping staff quickly brought up an extra duvet (even though they were operating on a minimal staff, due to the 1 May holiday). When I told the maid not to clean the room (since my spouse was sleeping), she offered to provide fresh towels and toiletries so that we were "provided for," even though she was not able to get in to clean the room.

The breakfast offerings were varied and plentiful. I had a drink in the bar with a long-time Bergen friend, and the cocktails were delicious.

My only complaint (and this applies to many hotels) was the lack of electrical outlets near the bedside tables and at the desk. In fact, I could find only two outlets available for use, and one of those was near the floor next to the window -- not exactly an ideal location to work with my various electronic devices.

All-in-all, though, I enjoyed my stay at the Radisson Blu in Bergen, Norway.

Friday, November 23rd invited me to room 551 came into the room which was badly washed fan and old food in the refrigerator, piano nuts on the floor hair in the shower not good when one pays so much for the room, talked to the wash lady who did not understand what I said, talked and with them at reception in the evening, expect compensation before disappointed room cleaning.

In the middle of Bergen's tourist center. Silent. Clean and tidy. Skilled and helpful staff.

Blue flashing light in air-conditioning unit was annoying all night. Room was hot all night. But hotel is in good location to town and a good breakfast. Aiport bus stops outside hotel.

Rooms are nice and big. However, the air is very dry. Also, I asked for a king size bed, but didn't get it

Very good hotel, clean room, very good breakfast. In the Brigg district, take a beautiful picture. There is a pick-up from the airport to park in front of the hotel. The bus fare is 115 NOK per person.

Most centrally placed hotel by the bay, fantastic surrounding. Value for money, would recommend complimentary bottled drinking water in Norway hotels

Eye, tourists, in this hotel I left the suitcase open and I STOLE: purse, purse, underwear set, stockings. WATCHED. I have travel companions as witnesses.

Nice location, nice staff, great room, clean and tidy. But the breakfast disappointed, too little staff for clearing tables, lukewarm eggs. Stayed here for 2 days and cleaned the room for breakfast even both days. Feeder cut after 30 seconds got a new used, same happened. Here you have to buy new ones, the old ones are full of dust and become as hot and stop.

Solid and right in front of the airport transport bus. The beds are soft.

Large, clean and cozy room. Nice staff. Superfresh and nice breakfast, with lots to choose from. Slightly listened to from room adjoin.

Nice delicious lunch buffet with different types of menus and yummy types of so many desserts, clean, warm training room served with variation of snakes during coffee break.

Consitution day breakfast with family. Very nice, but too few vegetarian/vegan options.

Its a decent hotel and staff are doing good job. Nice place. Also situated next to UNESCO world heritage site - Bryggen. Quite special place.

Very good room, no parking and reasonable breakfast. One option would be not to include in the daily rate and have breakfast outside. The parking in front is quite expensive. Incidentally, parking lots in Norway are expensive.

Ideal for mountain visitors Hotel located in the Bryggen "Old Town", which was built from wood.

We were there in 2016 and chose this hotel because of the parking for the car. Only then we were relegated to another car park somewhere in the city. No cost reduction ... too bad, because we would depend on the car!
Otherwise, the room was ok ... after I repaired the sloping parts of the panels !! A bit of money for these two mistakes. Perfect for the harbor! ;)

Large and nice room, as well as nice staff. Unfortunately, poor cleaning, and an annoying blue LED that blinks on the ventilation controller.

Very good hotel in the center of Bergen. Great food and breakfast. The bar in the reception area is also nice. The airport bus departs from the hotel, very convenient. One does not live entirely in the center, but close and one avoids noise.

Disappointing hotel, very expensive for small room and smell of mould. Cahotic breakfast, no table cleaned while you are with your plate trying to find a seat... but well located

Location is good closed to the harbor. The reason it lost two stars is due to the parking issue. No free parking for hotel guests and parking is expensive in Bergen. We came on weekend and it s extremely difficult to find a parking spot nearby. I m disappointed that the reception couldn t give any constructive suggestions. We ended up spending about an hour to find parking place. If you need a long time parking with reasonable tolls, you can go to Bygarasjen. 150kr a day.

Very nice hotel, clean, modern rooms, friendly staff ... the breakfast buffet is a hit!

Great hotel at the heart of the city, great breakfast and friendly staff. Excellent central location to visit fjords by land or sea and a cozy bar. Checkin is a bit understaffed when it gets busy.

Nice rooms and a good breakfast. Their evening restaurant North 26 can also be recommended.

When the room we got didn't have what we ordered, we were immediately moved to another, bigger room. Breakfast was delicious, and had both lactose and gluten-free options at the buffet.

Superb central location and a wonderful clean room with very nice facilities. We also appreciated being able to visit with a dog. Lovely to stay in such a nice hotel wand be able to take a dog!

Very convenient as the airport bus drops you right outside the hotel. Located along Bryggen, it's within walking distance to sights like Floyen and the Fish Market. However, our room was facing the entrance and people do smoke and chat outside the door at night, so the sound and smell will travel in.

The hotel is centrally located and right on the waterfront. The main entrance is on the side street. The front is kept in the old style of the historic buildings. The breakfast is decent and comparable with other good hotels I've stayed at in Scandaniva

The right facilities, the attentive service and good food
