Awesome love the Polynesian show & the staff was very helpful & service was great. Parking challenge but overall had good experience

We stayed on the 11th floor of the tower. Great view. Friendly staff. Clean comfortable room tho it shows some age. Loved the bar patio.

What an experience! We took my mother to celebrate her birthday here at the Catamaran Resort Hotel, All You Can Eat Brunch. From booking the reservations, to seating arrangements in a semi private dining room, to the friendly chefs, the staff were all excellent and our waiter was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place!

Great place to visit. Just the staff needs to get in tune with promotions. The food was awesome as well.

I stayed at this resort over the weekend and had a fairly good stay. The ambiance is wonderful. The grounds are simply gorgeous. Steps away from the beach. Gorgeous views. Great for families, not so much for a couple traveling alone imo. Pool was small and not enough chairs. Absolutely no complimentary food or drink in the entire place. For as expensive as this resort is, I would have expected at least continental breakfast. The brunch on Sunday was $62 a person for goodness sake. All the staff were friendly of course and the grounds were clean. Love the exotic bird show. On the Friday we were there, there was a Luau that was amazing. Of course it was $50 per person. Food was terrible but show was good. Overall, I had a nice time but wouldn t come again. Didn t feel I got my money s worth.

Not a spectacular hotel, but not terrible either. Honestly though, the location is so great for quick get-away trips to the beach in San Diego.

The people at the front desk were very helpful when we asked about the catamaran/bahia Belle boat. Everyone working on the boat were also great.

I highly recommend Catamaran Resort for your wedding or event! They have a fantastic staff including Dave Hopper who we just worked with. He's very friendly and made our job easy. You't can't go wrong with great service, great location, and great food!

Rooms dated, but staff and grounds are lovely, family friendly. Restaurant was v. slow service, beach is clean and well-serviced.

At first we thought it was great because they had a same day room available on a busy weekend, But that should of been our first warning sign. The room smelled awful and they had cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. The Bathroom tile was broken and the tub wouldn't drain properly. The walls are paper thin; they put us by the elevator and the whole night we could hear drunk group after drunk group talking and laughing and fighting while the waited for the elevator. Woke our baby up 3 different time thru out the night. Aside from keeping up the quality of their rooms and cleanliness they should be more considerate of the placement of the room they have you stay in. They knew we had a baby because they were in aww of him when we checked in but didn't think to give us a better placed room. We also went to eat at the restaurant and sat at one of the couches that had a fire pit. The restaurant manager insisted we turn on the fire pit despite us not wanting to because he have a toddler, but we reluctantly gave in ad let them turn it on. Should have never done that! It smelled of gas leak and when we asked them to turn it down or off they said it would still smell that its normal. I'm no plumber but gas smell is not normal to me around fire. So all in all it was not the "Resort" experience we where hoping for; I would have been better off staying at one of the motels or hotels down the street for 1/3 the price.

Loved it here. This was one of, if not thee most relaxing get away I have done. The Atoll restaurant is brilliant. The room was awesome. Just everything was great.

Clean rooms, great drinks at the restaurant. Decor in the rooms was a little dated but overall would stay again.

The hotel is very nice, however we brought our family and my daughter and I were swimming when two drunk men in the hot tub started swearing and broke into an all out fight. No security came and they were bloodied up. My daughter is 7 and was scared to death. Also, local area not really family friendly. Went to McDonald's nearby for breakfast and lots of homeless people.

Our vacation was remarkable! Great customer service. Great food and drinks. A excellent resort for all. Our kids had a amazing time with bird show onsite, pool with full bar and grill. Plus the free video games! I caught myself playing in there too long. Room was good. Just the couch pullout mattress was not good to sleep on, and the sliding patio glass door was still really hard to slide open. Careful with that. Just a heads up. They also had this luau. It's was spectacular! Everything about that was simply amazing. You have to go to get that experience. Overall. It was the best. I will be bringing my family here again soon! For being in Pacific Beach, the Catamaran really does a good job a keeping things clean and quiet. Nice place, good area in the bay for kids (gated) and lots of stuff to do.

The ambiance was fantastic and I really enjoyed the Tahiti performers

My wife and I were for a weekemd. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff and people at the front desk were very friendly. The pool was great and there was a free arcade in the poil area which was great. The drinks at the hotel bat were fantastic. We had breakfast one morning at the restaurant in the hotel. I had a breakfast burrito which was very good. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay right by the water in san diego.

Nestled in the Sail Cove in Mission Bay, Catamaran Resort is truly a hidden gem in San Diego. I was impressed with the clean and relaxing facility, and most of all, extremely friendly staff. I was attending a corporate event, but I will surely bring my family to the resort for some fun in the beach.

The hotel seemed like a nice place. I was only there for one night and it was an enjoyable experience. The location was nice and it was very busy.

My family spent a week in California. We stayed in three hotels total as we spent time in different areas. We only stayed a total of one night at Catamaran. I wish it could have been longer it was that relaxing...

Great spot on the bay to relax and do some people watching. The hotel provides lounge chairs on the sand for the public. Nice perk for the community!

We had such a great time when my wife and I were there. Sandra at the front desk really took the time to point us in the right direction for our needs and made it a fantastic experience.

This place had very good customer service when I came here for prom. The food was amazing and overall the whole place looking stunning.

The Oceana at the Catamaran is really top notch. 5 star cuisine, outstanding food and service. They had live music going and the atmosphere of the ocean and views are stunning and breathtaking!

Older hotel with mature beautiful landscaping the private beaches are awesome and the pool setting is great overall very pleased with my visit.

Beautiful landscapes, tower rooms have good views, located very close to beach and bay. Food in restaurant devine but service needs improvement. Loved tank of jellyfish in middle. Pool in nice area.

I love having lunch on the patio at The Catamaran... I really feel like I own a piece of paradise sitting out there with that beautiful bay view being waited on like a queen by the friendly, attentive staff. Sailboats in the distance and paddleboarders in the water. A parade of fun-loving people walking by, enjoying the sun and sea breezes. With parking at a premium in MB, it's the best way to enjoy a walk on the bay side and across to the boardwalk and back. With the price of your lunch and drinks, parking validation is 4 hours!! They even have bicycles you can rent and there's a paddle board rental right in front by the water. We truly do live in paradise here in San Diego!!

The fanciest, prettiest place I've ever been. I may be just a simple country chicken, but if you can afford it - the Catamaran can't be beat.

Didn't actually stay at the resort but visited some friends who stayed. We spent the whole day there. Food was really good and the service was good. Neither were great, though.

They have a good happy hour & view. I loved the spa area too.

Great location! My favorite parts were yoga on the beach and the luau. The parrots in the courtyard are lots of fun.

Great location right on Mission Bay and only a 2 minute walk from the Pacific Ocean. The free chairs and umbrellas on the bay are great for lounging in and they have a waiter who will take your order for the bar. Within walking distance from lots of different restaurants, bars, and breweries. Would recommend staying in the high rise building as long as you are above the 4th floor.

Pretty unimpressed with our room 410. It smells like mold, carpet is old and not clean, very out dated. The beach and pool are nice.
