Love staying at this hotel and casino. Good food selections, nice upscale restaurants, spa, pool, fitness center, movie theatre, bowling alley and entertainment arena. Parking is easy, employees friendly. Only downside is the smell of cigarette or cigar smoke from the casino floor.

This casino/hotel is the total package, something for everyone, and you can come to Vegas and spend your entire time within its walls and not feel like you've missed out on anything. Great restaurant selection (hello familiar Steak n Shake!). And Vegas's best race and sports book, in my opinion, open 24/7. A solid value. "Joints" like this are a dying breed in Vegas. It's a modern version of old Vegas service.

Location is great, close to the interstate. Rooms are larger than any other hotel, nicely furnished, comfy beds, great shower. Plenty of activities on site if you never wanted to leave the property. We have been staying here yearly for the past 8 years and will continue to come back. Great value for the money.

We went to the steak and shake place inside. It was ok, not the best burger but the shakes are good. My burger could have used more sauce and the fries were a tad overcooked. If I go back I will know to ask for more sauce. The price was pretty good for a burger place.

Great place to stay. Comfortable beds, clean ans easy check in. The staff is not upbeat and seldom smile. Hey folks you have a job in hospitality part of the job is to smile, be friendly and approachable.

Well our experience at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa has gone to crud. Being able to sleep is a big thing when you are on a much needed vacation. Yesterday we thought the 6am banging on the wall was grown up gymnastics next door. It turns out its construction. They kept it going until we gave up and left to go eat breakfast at 8am.
The hotel staff forgot to mention at check in that sleeping would be impossible. They gave us no warning on the noise nor a choice to move away from it. Yesterday we were woken up before dawn by banging on the wall to our left. Today again before 6am, the drilling, cutting, and banging is so loud its sounds like its in our room.
I called the front desk and was told there was no manager on the clock. I went down just before 7am and complained to the hotel front desk lead, Jessica and got nowhere. All she had the authority to do was document and offer to refund 2 nights resort fees (we are staying more than 2 nights). She suggested I come back later if I felt like I wanted to change rooms. She gave me the director's name, Shelley, and asked I speak to her.
This is is bull... Change our room and make this better!!
We come from far away, save for a year expecting to have a great experience. We want to be able to relax, not to end up feeling like we have to cut our fun short because we're in a race to get some sleep before the drills and construction start again.
For those reading this ask about the construction at check in and make sure they get you a room far from it.
For me, I asked how long this would continue and the person handling the construction was not it so we got no answer.

We have been staying, playing, and eating here for 6 years. We love it! Casino is fun, not smoky, and we even win a little. Hotel rooms are amazing! They're clean, large, and very comfortable. The restaurants are also great. We only stay here whenever we come to Vegas (5 or 6 times a year).

Great price... would be nice with a free breakfast ... rooms are clean and affordable ... remember that there is a resort fee... the entrance we used makes you go through the casino floor, smoke smell is present, family goers just looking for a place to sleep will need to ask if there is an alternative entrance ... valet parking which is free will not accommodate a high top van like a ford transit ... so you will have to walk and risk your vehicle... actual rooms smell clean and look clean...

Excellent amenities. Variety of restaurants. Friendly staff. Many options for gamers. Movie theater had comfortable seating. South Point's location South of the Las Vegas strip is not too much of a deterrent if you have your own transportation. Very affordable compared to other strip properties.

Had a awful experience. Male custodian although aware of my presence decided to come in the WOMAN'S RESTROOM WHILE I WAS IN STALL.? AND HE CLOSED THE RESTROOM SO NO OME COULD ENTER! I WAS YELLING AND HE IGNORED ME! I FINISHED. CAME OUT and he had the AUDACITY TO SHRUG AND SAY. WELL I HAD TO CLEAN THE FLOOR! I AM APPALLED, FELT VIOLATED, SCARED ETC. AND HE HAS NOT SEEN THE LAST OF ME! BE SAFE

Great all in one Casino in Las Vegas. Although farther down the strip than most, it had everything you need, movie theater, bowling alley, great restaurants, spa, etc. Family friendly or couples retreat they meet the requirements. The plus is their location, No traffic, convenient shopping stores.... groceries, eateries, outlets, easy on/off freeway entrances/exits. Lots of parking and very accommodating employees.

My wife and I go to the movies here, occasionally. Normally during their reduced price times (Tuesdays, I think). It isn't usually too crowded, and the seats are comfortable. The popcorn is good, and they'll do deals on their food (e.g. 2 for $6 on candy). Check in advance for when the deals are, if that's why you're going. Also, they do serve alcohol. Not sure if that's restricted to certain theaters or if you can take it into any theater.

Was there to watch the NFR and eat. The buffet was excellent. After eating went to watch the rodeo but it was crowded. Was not able to find a sit. Got there to late. Make sure you arrive early for sitting. Overall the experience was good and I enjoyed myself.

Beautiful resort! My daughter had a gymnastics meet here, and the exhibition hall was a perfect venue. We had dinner after the meet at the Mexican restaurant there, and while my dinner (a taco salad) was not very flavorful, it was fresh. My daughter had a combo dinner and enjoyed it, however. Parking was free. The one drawback was the cost of rooms - we couldn't stay at the resort due to cost, and it would have been much nicer to stay where the meet was.

The hotel was awesome. They had everything you could possibly want. The people and service was on point. The food at the numerous restaurants was great and the prices were reasonable. That will be my go to home away fro home on mynext trip to Vegas.

This hotel has just about everything you want for a family vacation stay. Bowling - movie theater - Comedy Club - and pretty much anything you want to eat. The poker room here is absolutely amazing.

Very spacious rooms, everything you need under one roof, very kind staff (especially Anna at the front desk!), super accommodating with check in and check out times!! Variety of restaurants!! Amazing price for what you get:) There are areas in the casino where it is more smoky however for this price there has to be some trade offs! ENJOY

I didn't stay at the hotel but ate at the Garden buffet. It was great. Went on seafood night and it was featuring prime rib. It was a bit pricey but if you signed up for their club card for the casino, it discounted your meal. It came with complimentary tickets for 2 small glasses of wine. The club card was free and you were not obligated to play any casino games. The food was very good and a nice variety. My only complaint, if I had to have one, would be that some of the food could have stood to be a bit warmer. I and the kids enjoyed it though. Great dessert selection. Would definitely go again.

The valet took 11 minutes just to greet me. Check-in took almost 30 minutes standing in line for 2 staff members. The buffet closes at 9pm. The TV has 6 channels. Out of the 8 of us that went everyone lost in the casino (slots). Someone charged $22 to my room and they can't find the receipt and they refuse to refund the $22. Thankfully it wasn't $522.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. It's horribly run and the service is terrible. Even the managers don't seem to know what they are doing.

We usually stay here , this time a went to the Mandalay bay, I do not regretted but I missed this hotel, the buffets is the best in Las Vegas , in the pandemic, well is one of the few that are open, Haha, the rooms of S.P are more quite than the ones in mandalay bay, here you barely hear the other room, on MB you can hear everything.

Nice location away from the craziness of the strip. The dealers weren't as friendly as some other spots (like Golden Nugget!) but they had $5 blackjack so I stayed anyway. Garden Buffet was pretty good for lunch. Overall, not bad and I would go again, especially if I'm staying at the resort nextdoor.

Stayed here for a conference. The hotel was clean. Our room had coffee maker in the room. View from the window was nice. You got great coupon when you checked in. Buy one buffet get another. We did breakfast and it was great. They have other restaurants. By the conference area is a horse arena. That week you walk in for free and watch. Pool area was nice. Work out room was also good. The only drawback is how far away from the strip you are

Delta Airlines had put us up at this hotel for the night when our flight was cancelled, and I must say, even though this hotel/casino is nothing compared to the ones on the strip, the place is very decent and clean. The hotel rooms are very nice as well. Great alternative for folks who can't afford the more expensive hotels on the strip.

The price was great ... Customer service was great ... The only down fall is that is not close to the strip ... But if you are willing to take uber or lift it makes a good spot to visit. For this hotel I would choose lift because it comes out cheaper going to or out of this hotel

The spa was excellent. I had a terrific deep tissue massage that was worth the money, we had a great meal at Primarily Prime Rib and my husband enjoyed his car show very much. As always the South Coast was worth the weekend getaway. I'd rate it 5 stars, but it is too smokey in the main area. They need a better ventilation system.

The location is out of the way but it's conveniently placed along the freeway and an outlet. The parking lot always has some room to spare and the valet is very nice and takes care of your car. The casino itself is nice as always and the options for restaurants are vass. The hotel is very nice and inviting and their pool is big and spacious. Overall I would come here again. 11/10
