FAR better than the major casinos I was at (Bellagio, Venetian, Ceasar's). The tables had a more fun atmosphere and I am convinced the big casinos cheat. I lasted less than five minutes with every $100 bill I laid down in the big places. At Soutpoint I had fun for three hours and left slightly below where I started. Servers were great, food decent, dealers friendly.

So far, so good. I love this place. The rooms are very nice and there is a lot to do. Movies, bowling, an arcade and more for the kids. The pool is great and we've had great service too. I'll update more after the end of my stay.

The hotel has been remodeled. The carpet was removed new hardwood floors installed and new furniture. Keurig coffee machines provided in addition to two pair of complimentary sleepers. I really enjoy that this hotel has a bowling alley, movie theater, arcade and plenty of eatery.

Fantastic Casino and Hotel. This casino floor is huge. If you smoke and you're looking to be rewarded from a pit while you gamble, this place has free packs of cigarettes when you ask for them. Lots of food to choose from. Bowling, arcade, movies, poker, sports, dining and parking every where. The South Point.

I went to the Garden Buffet at South Point Hotel, amd it was great. I went at around 8am, not much peopke there. But their brunch menu was wonderful. From eggs to their selection of different meats and fruits, it was amazing. It was cheaper because they were under remodeling/expansion! Overall it was a great experience, I would come here again.

Very nice suite with plenty of room for a large group of bridesmaids and a bride to dress and primp. Great casino and sports book. Bowling alley, movie theater, pool spa, equestrian center. Many tasty restaurants, both casual and fine dining, even a hot dog cart on the casino floor! You could come to Vegas, stay here and never leave!

Access to the hotel REQUIRES a long walk through the casino floor. If walking long distances is an issue, I would reccomend looking elsewhere. Rooms were fairly clean, but common areas were much less so, sauce was left on the elevator door for multiple days. Overall it was reasonable for the price. The dining available was quite good and I would reccomend trying it if you're here.

We love South Point. We will never stay anywhere else. Rooms are beautyful, staff is nice, and plenty of places to eat. Stay here and you won't have to drive anywhere. We always stay here when picking up family at the airport. Can't say enough about how much we love this place.

The only issue is the restaurant location. It is near the equestrian center. Sometimes eating your meal (which is AMAZING) comes with the smell of manure .

Love the casino, hotel, and restaurants. Just that smell when the animals are there!

It had a buffet - prices have gone up. The theaters aren't opened. Too many new video game machines. Half of the old games aren't available, as well. They should have put plexiglass between games so that more were available. Prices to stay at hotel are a bit too high - fees should be less as well. I give it a 7 out of 10. I liked it better the way it used to be. Thank God for the hotdog stand being open, or I would have given it a 6.

Very accessible by car! Affordable as well. I enjoyed going into the casino, bowling alley, outdoor pool and 16-screen movie theater!. Just wonderful. The rooms were very cozy and spacious. Designed in such a simple way. The food was delicious. The service was exceptional! Thank you very much for making our stay lovely!

My favorite place to gamble. It is a good distance from the strip but worth the visit. They have everything in this location you could possibly want. The buffet is very inexpensive and the food is great.

Love this place!! We just stayed at the Sahara and this is a much nicer venue. Their buffet was great. Food and selection was great. The biggest negative is location. Although on the Strip, South Pointe is away from the core of Vegas. You need to take the bus or other means to get to the core since parking is a problem.

From Best to Worst in One Moment - My carefully made, pre-paid and confirmed reservation was not honored by South Point Hotel. There are always solutions. It should not be my responsibility to find it. The room I was provided, by default, was lessor than reserved. However, the hotel was presented as it appears and there are many dining options. If I knew this Front Desk/Reservation issue would not repeat itself... I would consider returning to South Point Hotel Casino & Spa.

Nice, clean casino with good air handling. More laid back than those on the strip as well as bowling, movies, and food. The machines tend to keep you in the game more so than on the strip and there is hardly any wait for anything. Great buffet and the staff are exceptional. I hit this place a few times every vacation as it's a fun day out.

Really enjoyable experience.

Really enjoyable experience.

Cheap drinks. About 10-15 mins off the strip-before you get into the city from CA. Way too bright inside. Cheap tables if you want to play cards. Best thing ever is the Spazmatics throwback band. So fun-cheap tickets and the best two hours you ll have in Vegas.

Great clean casino. With everything you need. They have 11 restaurants, Bowling alley, a movie theater, slots, and tables. Can't go wrong here. It's only an 8 minute drive to the strip if needed.

The room was nice but the night bar manager was rude. She had a bad attitude and ruined what was a great night out. Even the bar staff was upset at the way she treated us. When did Las Vegas lose its hospitality?

Went for Christmas Day dinner at Primarily Prime Rib restaurant.
Would go again.
The hotel and casino are big and beautiful.
Rodeo finals held here. Many equestrian events and shows are held here.
Horses are kept here in awesome area stalls that are temperature controlled and clean.

the room was very nice and clean.

the room was very nice and clean.

I love bathroom here.
It's really big and divide section between taking bath and hand wash.

I took my daughter here for a national gymnastic meet. I had never even heard of this hotel, but was pleasantly surprised how much there was to do for all ages. They have a full movie theater and huge bowling alley that was great for the kids. We ate at the steak restaurant (very nice), the sushi restaurant (we loved it) as well as the buffet and ice cream parlor. There was so much variety that we only left the hotel once during our trip. The parking garage is very convenient for going and coming. I happened to leave two brand new pair of prescription glasses in my room (worth over $400) and didn't realize it until I got home. I immediately contacted them and they found them for me. They mailed my glasses back immediately along with a necklace my daughter left that I didn't even know had been left in the room! I'm so thankful for their honestly and cooperation in getting these items back to me. We would definitely stay there again!!

Rooms are large and impeccibly clean, well appointed. Hotel is well staffed with security, wait staff, everywhere. All personnel is over the top friendly! This my 4th year attending and participating in the largest indoor archery tournament in the world. We feel very welcomed, and everything is organized to a tee. They have something for everyone, movies, bowling, gambling, outdoor pool. Would highly recommend for a family.

I love this place for gaming; the slots are in my opinion loose in comparison to any place on the strip. South point has it all restuarants, bowling, and movie theaters. All that and a touch of old school class. Get there and see for yourself!

Fairly nice resort a little ways off the strip. Have a beautiful cinema and a few really nice restaurants. I never saw/went to the pool. But over all a decent family stop if you can wade through the casino.

The rooms are nice. The casino smells like an ash tray, but the tables are cheap. The pool is garbage. But the property has some fun amenities like the theater & bowling alley. Both of which you can drink in.

I would like to thanks your casino for truly caring for veterans and their family, putting your money where your mouth is, some places out here say, the feed vets and family but when come it's a different story. Thanks for being number one in my book, when it comes to veterans. And winning.

Was hesitant because it was off the strip and the cost was to good to be true. Turns out it was perfect for our family trip. To top it off, the food and service were good too! Drive to strip was minimal but we had everything we needed at the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are nice, but the beds are absolutely horrible. Water/shower was good and rooms were clean, but the beds really killed the enjoyment of everything else. My neck and back STILL hurt a week after spending just 1 night here. Never again.

Have stayed here a few times, it's off the strip so the traffic is not as bad to get to it. A lot of options inside the casino. Rooms are nice and room service food is great! They make a killer grilled ham and cheese sandwich!!!

I've eaten at several of the restaurants, all are pretty good, but the Oyster Bar is my favorite. Their menu has the standard menu, but the quality is above average and the service is good. We had the steamed clams, calamari, oysters on the half-shell and king crab legs. The crab is supposed to be 1 1/2 lbs but I'm betting was closer to 2 full pounds. .I highly recommend this restaurant

Southpointe is really a place I love to visit and get my casino and bowling on! But this jackpot adding up to $25,000 game they play, sucks big time! You can spend 1/2 a day and or night and never hear a winner announced nor do the machines let you win anything while this game is running. You need to work on this concept it is not working!

Good casino, especially like the additional activities such as the bowling alley and movie theater for families since we stayed across the street at the Grandview. Also went a few times to eat there as well. Definitely helps the Grandview add some nearby amenities and activities.
