We really enjoyed our stay here. The atmosphere is great, I love that they cater to the rancher lifestyle. It's a quick uber to the strip but you can also get away from it and enjoy being away from the craziness. There is so much you can do at this hotel too that you could literally just stay there and not leave and be well entertained. The rooms were very nice as well. No complaints at all.

You will not have to leave this hotel for anything - all the neccessary amenities are there from a movie theater to a bowling alley. Great places to eat too at reasonable prices, and the suite that I stayed in was immaculate with two televisions and a huge walk-in closet. If you drink a lot of water like I do, I suggest bringing it with you - it was a bit pricey. And, the nightclub was over the top with the Motown review (and more) - amazing talent.

I highly recommend the South Point for anyone coming to Las Vegas! they have given back to the community in a huge way to many of the families that were victims of the 1 October tragedy & all the employees have been very friendly, helpful & I can't say enough about how amazing our experience has been here..it has truly been a blessing..Thank You so much to everyone at the South Point for your kindness & dedication!

I recently stayed at Southpoint for the very first...

I recently stayed at Southpoint for the very first time and Im giving 2 stars because the room was beautiful but my shower was broken and did not drain properly so unless you took a 30 seconds shower the tub would get full and overflow , my check in process was quick and easy and the best part of my stay Jayme was friendly and sweet. I must ve gambled over $1000 which is half my monthly income so I went overboard won none of my money back but had fun doing it. The problem came when I decided to join happy hour at Baja miguels & immediately got rejected for service upon questioning why I was not being served I was told my California Id was a fake by bad tender Alberto & that I couldn t be the person in the pic cuz my hair is blonde I couldn t believe it so I ask for a manager to verify it and he does , problem solved right ? WRONG ANOTHER guest suggest a shot for embarrassing me in front of everyone I agree with the comment next thing I know Romeo is all up in my face threatening to call security on me for being disrespectful I lost it at that point no way in hell is an employee gonna discriminate against me for my hair color then threaten me with security because I agreed with the idea of a free shot I let Romeo know he needed to check his employee not me then I asked for a refund I was fed up and ANGRY upon asking for a refund my receipt was ripped up in my face I stayed for a new one considering how they acted I couldn t be guaranteed a refund although only $6 I ll be damned if I spend a penny after that disrespect it was the worst experience I ve ever endured it was completely degrading to be threatened with security for NOTHING it hit rock bottom for me as I ve lost many of my people to the hands of senseless police violence one being my brother. I immediately confided in the beverage manager Rick who assured me there would be some resolution but unfortunately I was never contacted and the issue was never resolved so I am left with a bitter taste about this place. It was after this that I noticed there were very many minorities there to begin with I would have been better off in my timeshare across the street or a Hilton. I m disappointed because I thought I found my home away from home but this incident was too damaging to sweep under the rug I m very disappointed in management and the Baja Miguel s team. Also my husband is in the Air-Force literally came home from deployment that weekend we just wanted to have a mini get away but this experience truly ruined our stay why on earth would someone w/ military Id try to bring an underaged woman to a bar? It was so senseless so disrespectful and if I could have my money back I put into that place I would and never look back waste waste waste and clearly management is no better STAY AWAY ESPECIALLY IF YOU FIGHT TO SERVE THIS COUNTRY YOU DESERVE BETTER

Enjoyed the experience ! Although, my first experience ever playing Bingo was almost ruined with two women arguing for throughout most of the games. The security had to come out & calm the situation. Other than that. I will definitely be back. I had a great time with my family bowling. We weren't aware of how expensive it was but I believe it will be cheaper other times. Great experience overall!

The restaurants are really good but the main casino floor smells like an old ash tray and your nose and eyes start burning before you are even done walking half way through it. Wanted to give the smell the benefit of the doubt, but after visiting 5 other casinos to see various shows, I can say without a doubt that southpoint casino smells the worst. It's a pity, because the casino the would be really amazing other wise.

The South Point is a great place to visit. The rooms are nice with some good views. There is also plenty of options for food and drinks. The best is the size of their convention center.

steak and shake is the best and the steak house primarily prime rib offers great selections of food and atmosphere along with amazing quality prime rib that could honestly be cut with a butter knife. Even in the 24 hour coffee shop the prime rib is amazing quality!! there's also bowling, a movie theater and an ice cream shop along with other choices of restaurants.

Love South Point. Always have, and will always spend a night here when I'm on a longer trip in Vegas.

Great no-BS casino floor, nice strong drinks, great simple food options. Rooms are great, we opted for a newly refurbed King on the 25th floor. It was spacious and lovely.

Did well on the casino floor, as I always seem to do at South Point. Cocktail service was constant and friendly.

Great hotel & casino. If you're into glitz and glamor this may not be the place for you, but if you like good service, good drinks, and good odds, South Point delivers 10/10.

Went to walk around the place. I love that it has a variety of things to do in it such as bowling, movies, arcade, and more but I wish there was a place specifically for toddlers. It's spacious, good selection of food from prime ribs to sushi, multiple bars. Nice bingo area.

Don't go to the over priced hotels on the strip. South Point has more than most of them. Wonderful restaurant's lots of gaming, the place is huge but you won't get lost like some other hotels . Never know who you'll meet there

My wife & I ALWAYS Recommend South Point Casino to stay at for friends & Family. Rates are good many amenities at this Casino. Rooms are clean. Recently all their Public Bathrooms were Re-done...They look fantastic. Gaming slots are ok sometimes your lucky ...Blackjack same . The Buffet was recently all Done Over. Its SAD to say it hasn't improved at all. As a matter of Fact it's not as Good as it was. Better places to eat here.

We never left the hotel. You never need to. They have a theater - we saw a movie. They have a bowling alley - we happen to have our own bowling attire with us. I gambled a little but mostly enjoyed the pool - that had a lifeguard ON duty and he was paying attention. They have massage and spa services - all excellent. They accommodated us when we brought some of our own food by bringing a fridge to the room. I went for a Convention and brought my son so gambling wasn't my focus. They have many restaurants and they were ALL good. I loved the 50s style diner... EXCELLENT. Being from California I was rather disappointed to have to go through ALL THE SMOKING. I didn't see a way around it. Over all great service and excellent housekeeping.. concierge, baggage and valet, counter staff.. ALL EXCELLENT! I would stay there again!

I ate at the Primarily Prime Rib restaurant and got the South Point Cut. It was a 10 ounce slice of prime rib and it was very good. The meal came with a variety of sides that one could choose from. I would definitely come again.

I usually have a really good experience at the bowling alley here especially with the dollar gains after midnight however the newest bartender that they hired named Jordan was being extremely rude to the party I was with. after kicking my fiance out of the bar area just because she wanted to vape a little he also served two drinks that had absolutely no alcohol in it and then tried to charge for a alcoholic drink.

Nice hotel. Convenient for the event we were attending. Never had to leave early the hotel with it 11 restaurants, bowling alley and theater. Rooms were okay. Beds were a little soft and the sheets were stiff.

Its an ok place smells like cigarettes and and broken hopes. Jk.. went there for a movie. The buffet looked pretty good. The line was a mile long. A place for locals who are sick of the strip it seems..

Company tends to hold our annual convention here. Clean rooms, nice pool, good amenities. Staff is friendly and responsive to any issue that may arise. Downside, no HBO. If the South Point gets HBO by my next visit, they'll get that 5th star.

This place is amazing!!! Show was great. They have a full service bowling alley and movie theater. Buffet was awesome also. One of the best locations in Vegas. Not on the strip where everything is, but is on Las Vegas Blvd.

The ventilation (or lack of) in this place makes then lose a star right away, yuck! Smoke, smoke and more smoke smell. The Asian restaurant is BOMB. They have 2 happy hours, a normal time in the evening and then a reverse happy hour which begins at 10pm, worth it! Movie theaters are being kept up and were clean for the most part. Lots of FREE outdoor and garage parking. Although Southpoint is better than it was say, 3 years ago, it's still not in the best shape or could be. That Asian restaurant is fire though!!

Hotel is clean and convenient but dont count on winning any money here. At least not anymore than you came to lose.
Been here three times and all three times I had zero success at winning at any of the games offered.
Slots were right and tables offered horrible hands and odds. Staff is nice and casino is clean. But that's the good if it all :-/

Nice decor and lighting. Clean rooms but there was a weird smell in entryway of room. The 24 hour restaurant had good food and awesome wait staff. We had dinner when we got there and ended up having breakfast the next day. We had vouchers but the prices were comparable. Tried to have breakfast at the buffet but the cashiers and hostess were very rude. Needless to say, we didn't eat there. We headed right to the 24 hour spot.

South Point is a beautiful casino with high ceilings and light colors. They feature many equestrian events during the year. The slots pay you enough to let you keep playing and still leave with extra money. I'm not big on buffets, but they were advertising prime rib, which is husband's favorite. I wondered what a $15.99 prime rib would taste like. He said it was every bit as good as the $40.00 prime rib he had ordered a few nights prior. They have a stir fry station which I chose; it was excellent.

Decent casino with good amenities for locals. It's really smoky, though, and can get very crowded. The sports book deli is really good. It's owned by the Dane people who own Bagel Cafe. Parking is easy in the garage and I like the movie theater.

I'm staying at the Grandview but South Point is where all the action is. I love that it is off the strip but offers everything a strip casino does. We had breakfast there this morning, which was delicious and half the price of a strip casino. And we go back tomorrow for a spa day.

Good size rooms, restaurant selection, show room is just the right size. Away from the crowds, but strip is close enough for easy access. Do not like the "resort fee" but parking is ample and free.

This resort has everything for individual and family guests. There is a boy alley and game row as well as a movie theater. There are also several pools and enough activities to keep kids busy. There is entertainment and gaming as well as a huge race in sports book. There are a vast variety of food selections at all price levels. There is something for everybody here at moderate to low pricing. Uniquely they have an Esquarian facility for specialty horse events. A nice place, very large, nice rooms, FUN!

Love staying here. The remodeled rooms a great. Being off the strip removed the craziness but you are still close enough for the fun. The whole experience here is fabulous. Try the spa if you have a chance. Well worth the money.
