As a local, this is my favorite spot to eat and play. There is always parking and plenty far away from the strip congestion, to get in and out of, when visiting .

Went over for the PBR/ABBI competition. As always everything was good. Southpoint is one of the best event arenas in the area. I will definitely be going back. Also, stopped into Steak n' Shake, as always everything was good.
Fantastic. Great room. Food was outstanding
.
The Hotel and Casino are huge. Mostly slots in this casino. Poker room is very small and not much action when I visited. I am told that this is a favorite of locals though as they offer low stacks at blackjack tables. Of course there is roulette also. The casino floor was really very busy with more people than most casinos that I have visited on the strip. The rooms were starting at $169 according to the desk. The exterior is much nicer than the interior. None of the ultra fancy interior design like hotels on the strip. You may like this hotel if you like to play low stakes.
Older style hotel casino but has everything you need. Food.bar. bowling ally. Game room. Arcade. It has it all.
It was great I stayed here about a week staff has great food service was great although they could use some work on their machines tables were okay but the machines are programmed one way and that's not to pay you LOL
Nice place to stay have so much to do if you have little kids. Did not come to gamble so not sure how much they let you win. Rooms are nice, food places, bowling, movies and much more
Excellent Casino on the South end of the Las Vegas strip. 5 star food with choices of Buffet , Steak restaurants, sushi bar , snack bar. Bowling alley, Bingo hall, Free parking. Excellent Gaming slots , table games etc. We stay twice a year visiting from the uk.
Nice place , good restaurants and nice bowling center.
Fabulous south-Strip destination with entertainment geared especially toward the older generations. More laid back environment compared to the other Las Vegas Boulevard casino/hotels. Lots of restaurants, huge gambling areas, premier sportsbook and multiple large seating areas for relaxing and watching various sporting events.
Awesome place, don't really have to leave for anything. Multiple movie theaters, bowling alley, casino, event center, and multiple restaurants
Clean, with tons of popular choices. The Willy Wonka slots were loose, and tons of fun. Stewardesses were scarce with the drinks though, once every hour or so.
Note that hotel will add amenities charges on top of your suite costs and they don't accept cash. Debit or credit card a must.
And since you're paying for it, use it.. fitness room, pool, jacuzzi, and check the coupon book they hand when you check in; good discounts on restaurants, gift shop, shows they have in house, etc.
Try your luck even on the penny slot machines for free drinks, soft or hard.
Might offer a free shuttle service to& from the strip if you are so inclined as South Point is not on the strip.
Beautiful large casino with many slots and table games, many food venues, great showroom where we rocked out with Frankie Moreno!
Went for another bowling excursion. The rooms were pleasant, the casino was....there. Several good places to eat. That was my favorite part.
Great casino! Nice and spacious, relaxing, and quiet. I could spend all day here!
The casino is beautiful, clean & roomy. I doubled my money ! Also, the Coronado coffee shop is great! The food is delicious, the prices are good, & the servers are friendly & efficient.
I'm not much of a gambler so it was nice having the movie theater and bowling alley upstairs. The Friday night seafood buffet is pretty good. The crab legs are very small though.
While the hotel was pretty good the first 2 times I stayed there, this place lost its touch. Customer service was a zero and they obviously have a culture issue with their staff. Beds were not comfortable, room was clean, TV cut in and out both nights, food was mediocre at best and super expensive, they charge a resort fee now and trust me, this place is not even close to be called a resort. We made some simple complaints while checking out and it went on deaf ears. We will never return and look forward to our next stay at the Aria in May.
Very nice Casino. Great late night food. A bit out of the way.
Amazing went for my 1 year anniversary and had a blast even with extra precautions taken by covid.
Pricing is pretty affordable. You pay for it in location though. A bit off the strip.
Love it...RZ Parking...Great Buffet... Nice Friendly Staff...a short uber ride from Strip and yet totally chill...Pretty good shows...lotsa places to Eat & Drink...better odds on Gambling...us locals Love it!!
Fantastic casino. Most dealers, service personnel very friendly. Easy access and egress from las vegas freeway. Will definitely return.
$5 movie Tuesdays, bowling, and arcade. Always fun here. I love taking photos at the top of the parking garage. #nofeeparking
Big casino with huge sports book and lots of restaurants and activities like bowling and a movie theater. My only complaint is the air filtration; the cigarette smoke lingers and smells like the dusty backseat of my grandmother's car who would smoke with the windows shut.
I stayed here several nights. The hotel and casino could use an update, but the room and bathroom were incredibly clean and quiet. This hotel is further from The Strip than it looks on a map and the shuttle service is a little strange and costly. Still, there are several options for restaurants here, which I appreciate, and there's a theater and bowling alley. I'd recommend staying here to anyone not looking to be by the strip, but to still enjoy the Vegas experience. Also, the pool area is nice, but the water was too cold to enjoy.
My favorite hotel to stay at in Vegas. Has everything you can do all in one place. Movie theater, bowling alley, bingo, casino, pool and some of the best restaurants you can at. Hotel rooms are always tops. Self or valet parking and the best place to stay during the national finals rodeo.
Great place for family quick great meal at cafe and a movie. Also the deli has real new York bagels that are fantastic.
This place is usually thriving! Lots of locals and tourists having a great time. Some popular events include rodeos all year round, and sports bars with comedy shows. A lil bit for everyone in the family.
Lots of food options, good security to get into the rooms, which are very modern, decorated amazingly and very clean, I even got the window to open
We were visiting friends here and it was a pretty massive facility. 2 different bowling alleys, movie theaters, tons of restaurants. They even have equestrian events. We only ate at the oyster bar and the food was super good. We will be coming back for a fun stay.
GOT ROBBED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHILE SLEEPING! Who knows how many people have access to your room. The room checks at random times during the day make sense now as it s a perfect way to scope out the night s potential loot. No cameras in the hallways. No urgency from the hotel to resolve or pretend that they even care. Just fill out a form and wait 3-5 business before trying to call for an update. Safety for the hotel s patrons is not a priority. I m never staying here again.
Fantastic local style casino. Multiple sports book areas, each with a different feel. Can't beat the $1.25 Vienna Beef hot dogs. The equestrian arena has some great rodeo and other horse events, often times free or very cheap.
best casino when PBR is in town. Love the cowboy decor. Great food selection! Nice rooms and great staff. Always nice and helpful.
wow , they disable the good slots machine, the ones who choose denominations they just put one nomination, and "We love you more"kind of advertise no good for us
It was fun! I love the slots and they let you win on these machines.
Had a good time here. Very spacious n ample parking. The casino was very easy to navigate n keep really clean
South Point has prime rib almost 24/7 at their cafe.
A very nice experience.
Love it.
Love this hotel, always clean and the restaurants are great
Went to the south point century theater. It was nice and well kept. Had a good time
The casino floor is quite large, with lots of options for slots & cards. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, lots of parking. Pretty decent casino!
Great local hotel with some wonderful restaurants and a movie theater. Always clean and everyone working there is friendly.
Food is a little pricey however searching the casino you will find better prices. Buffet was good, Friday seafood night three people $89.00. Casino slots lean heavily toward the house.
Great place, but the smoke is a deal breaker to visit without the bowling tournament.
Nice place no need to leave as they everything under one roof including bowling and a theater little far from the strip
Its really nice inside. Bowling, arcade, and movie theatre! Love it
This is a great Strip casino. They offer a little bit of everything.
Great restaurants, gaming, sports book and a few great bars.
This is a fun place to play blackjack at. I recently had a few great dealers. Dallas, Anne and Audrey were all very professional and pleasant.
Great hotel and service, we stay here twice fir bmx nationals and it have everything you need .
I only went to gamble a few bucks around 3:30 am and enjoyed my experience there.
Nice room, but a bit expensive being that far from the strip in my opinion. The parking structure was nice but too far from the hotel portion.
Went to equestrian center to watch horse dressage. Then had lunch at Steak and Shake. Nice outing for my wife and I.
We were meeting my wife's aunt at the equestrian center, and we had a great time! Or was a lot of fun watching the horses and the competition. Knowing nothing about these events, I actually learned quite a bit. We were only the a couple of hours, but it was a great time, and best of all, it was free!
I went with friends to a new years eve party. The staff was friendly and helpful. The signs in the casino weren't particularly clear, but everything else was nice
Checked in this hotel for this memorial long weekend. And couldn't be any happier. The room was very spacious and clean with great Wi-fi . They have a theater, Arcades and bowling for the kids and whole family to enjoy the kids loved it. Good customer service very nice people.. We checked in at 10am and room had to be giving to us at 3pm but they gave it to us at the time we checked in.The pool was nice, they have great drinks at the pool bar. The hotel is 15min away from the strip. Which is good because it doesn't get all crowded.
Nice place, it looked a lot if locals which tells me a lot. Been here a 2 or 3 times with family, had good experiences each time.
If I want to got to a buffet, watch a movie or get some deli food. Also thumbs up for having the last sexy cocktail waitress uniforms in Vegas.
Ate at the garden buffet, served was prompt, food was good. Free wine with Saturday night dinner which was a plus. Casino was well kept and bathrooms were clean!
Best hotel ever. My kids loved it. Its clean. Will come back soon
First time staying there. Nice little hotel and casino.
Parking garage is ample in size and easy to maneuver in. Casino is not gigantic, but big enough. Lots and lots of places to eat in the casino.
Room was really nice and large. Everything worked fine and bed was comfortable. We had a nice view of the pool. We never went to use it, but it looks good.
Overall good experience and would consider staying there again to be away from the craziness of the strip
The Buffet beats the ones on the strip. The chefs are to be commended!
Why would anyone play at a blackjack table that pays 6 to 5 odds on blackjack instead of 3 to 2?
All tables at South Point pay 3 to 2 odds and that alone makes this place worth going to.
Love it, I always have to make a stop there when I'm in Vegas. A lot of things to do and good spots to eat at
The people are helpful and friendly. The rooms, especially on the25th floor, are very comfortable.
Movie theater seats suck but casino buffet was pretty good and staff was pretty cool too overall experience was good
It's friendly and even has movie theaters. The buffet is decent.
Stayed here for a meeting. Has a great movie theater! Casino is too Smokey. Most casinos are like that but this one more than usual. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Nice that we can cash our payroll checks here for free and get a free drink voucher everytime you do!
Steak and shakes has super reasonable prices. The shakes are awesome so many different flavors, plus they are half off during happy hour!!!! They'll even split the very large shakes for sharing
Casino is always clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly.
Not the most modern in look but was nice and away from the strip so more family oriented.
As always a GREAT place to go. Well worth the drive we have to get there.
Had 2 change to a smaller room problem with plumbing in first room ( know things happen) but had to repack
We come here every year when in Vegas for bowling. After midnight games are $1 each on certain days. They also have a bar in the bowling alley and a 24 hour restaurant, a movie theater and bingo. It's off strip so we haven't stayed here but seems like a good place to stay if you want a bit quieter side of Vegas away from the strip.
Recently renovated hotel rooms with spacious floors. Has everything you need to be comfortable here including a Kurig machine. Sanitary and comfortable, all you can ask in a room. Also the view is an added bonus
This is my favorite casino as a local. The customer service is impeccable. We know folks by name there. Tourist's are friendly and ready to have a groovy time. It is HUGE with a variety of things to do within its beautiful walls! The choices in food are vast and delicious. One restaurant that will remain nameless did have a waiter that felt as though he was rushing us... Outside of that Southpoint is one of the best casinos to stay at, play at, or just come and eat at on the Boulevard.
Great place, lots of restaurants, good odds if you gamble
Great experience! Thank you for the comps but your welcome for my money! Lol
Old casino, but great selection of old and new slits, lots of tables, and lots to do. Great for families with kids.
