Went over for the PBR/ABBI competition. As always everything was good. Southpoint is one of the best event arenas in the area. I will definitely be going back. Also, stopped into Steak n' Shake, as always everything was good.

The Hotel and Casino are huge. Mostly slots in this casino. Poker room is very small and not much action when I visited. I am told that this is a favorite of locals though as they offer low stacks at blackjack tables. Of course there is roulette also. The casino floor was really very busy with more people than most casinos that I have visited on the strip. The rooms were starting at $169 according to the desk. The exterior is much nicer than the interior. None of the ultra fancy interior design like hotels on the strip. You may like this hotel if you like to play low stakes.

Fabulous south-Strip destination with entertainment geared especially toward the older generations. More laid back environment compared to the other Las Vegas Boulevard casino/hotels. Lots of restaurants, huge gambling areas, premier sportsbook and multiple large seating areas for relaxing and watching various sporting events.

Note that hotel will add amenities charges on top of your suite costs and they don't accept cash. Debit or credit card a must.
And since you're paying for it, use it.. fitness room, pool, jacuzzi, and check the coupon book they hand when you check in; good discounts on restaurants, gift shop, shows they have in house, etc.
Try your luck even on the penny slot machines for free drinks, soft or hard.
Might offer a free shuttle service to& from the strip if you are so inclined as South Point is not on the strip.

While the hotel was pretty good the first 2 times I stayed there, this place lost its touch. Customer service was a zero and they obviously have a culture issue with their staff. Beds were not comfortable, room was clean, TV cut in and out both nights, food was mediocre at best and super expensive, they charge a resort fee now and trust me, this place is not even close to be called a resort. We made some simple complaints while checking out and it went on deaf ears. We will never return and look forward to our next stay at the Aria in May.

Big casino with huge sports book and lots of restaurants and activities like bowling and a movie theater. My only complaint is the air filtration; the cigarette smoke lingers and smells like the dusty backseat of my grandmother's car who would smoke with the windows shut.

I stayed here several nights. The hotel and casino could use an update, but the room and bathroom were incredibly clean and quiet. This hotel is further from The Strip than it looks on a map and the shuttle service is a little strange and costly. Still, there are several options for restaurants here, which I appreciate, and there's a theater and bowling alley. I'd recommend staying here to anyone not looking to be by the strip, but to still enjoy the Vegas experience. Also, the pool area is nice, but the water was too cold to enjoy.

My favorite hotel to stay at in Vegas. Has everything you can do all in one place. Movie theater, bowling alley, bingo, casino, pool and some of the best restaurants you can at. Hotel rooms are always tops. Self or valet parking and the best place to stay during the national finals rodeo.

This place is usually thriving! Lots of locals and tourists having a great time. Some popular events include rodeos all year round, and sports bars with comedy shows. A lil bit for everyone in the family.

We were visiting friends here and it was a pretty massive facility. 2 different bowling alleys, movie theaters, tons of restaurants. They even have equestrian events. We only ate at the oyster bar and the food was super good. We will be coming back for a fun stay.

GOT ROBBED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHILE SLEEPING! Who knows how many people have access to your room. The room checks at random times during the day make sense now as it s a perfect way to scope out the night s potential loot. No cameras in the hallways. No urgency from the hotel to resolve or pretend that they even care. Just fill out a form and wait 3-5 business before trying to call for an update. Safety for the hotel s patrons is not a priority. I m never staying here again.

Fantastic local style casino. Multiple sports book areas, each with a different feel. Can't beat the $1.25 Vienna Beef hot dogs. The equestrian arena has some great rodeo and other horse events, often times free or very cheap.

This is a great Strip casino. They offer a little bit of everything.

Great restaurants, gaming, sports book and a few great bars.

This is a fun place to play blackjack at. I recently had a few great dealers. Dallas, Anne and Audrey were all very professional and pleasant.

We were meeting my wife's aunt at the equestrian center, and we had a great time! Or was a lot of fun watching the horses and the competition. Knowing nothing about these events, I actually learned quite a bit. We were only the a couple of hours, but it was a great time, and best of all, it was free!

Checked in this hotel for this memorial long weekend. And couldn't be any happier. The room was very spacious and clean with great Wi-fi . They have a theater, Arcades and bowling for the kids and whole family to enjoy the kids loved it. Good customer service very nice people.. We checked in at 10am and room had to be giving to us at 3pm but they gave it to us at the time we checked in.The pool was nice, they have great drinks at the pool bar. The hotel is 15min away from the strip. Which is good because it doesn't get all crowded.

First time staying there. Nice little hotel and casino.

Parking garage is ample in size and easy to maneuver in. Casino is not gigantic, but big enough. Lots and lots of places to eat in the casino.

Room was really nice and large. Everything worked fine and bed was comfortable. We had a nice view of the pool. We never went to use it, but it looks good.

Overall good experience and would consider staying there again to be away from the craziness of the strip

We come here every year when in Vegas for bowling. After midnight games are $1 each on certain days. They also have a bar in the bowling alley and a 24 hour restaurant, a movie theater and bingo. It's off strip so we haven't stayed here but seems like a good place to stay if you want a bit quieter side of Vegas away from the strip.

This is my favorite casino as a local. The customer service is impeccable. We know folks by name there. Tourist's are friendly and ready to have a groovy time. It is HUGE with a variety of things to do within its beautiful walls! The choices in food are vast and delicious. One restaurant that will remain nameless did have a waiter that felt as though he was rushing us... Outside of that Southpoint is one of the best casinos to stay at, play at, or just come and eat at on the Boulevard.
