This resort was amazing this weekend! My wife and I enjoyed the food, the room, the staff, just everything. Can t wait to go back soon!

Stayed 4 days at this resort for a conference. I don't have a negative comment to offer. Everything was fantastic. Staff are friendly and competent. Check in/out was a breeze. Rooms are very clean and modern. The grounds are immaculate. They have complimentary shuttles that will take you to/from the local town. I didn't use the spa so I can't comment on that. They do have several pools, a tennis court, on-site restaurants/bars, and other amenities. Of course, it helped that the weather was perfect. Beautiful scenery with the Camelback Mountain within site. Overall, this is a terrific place and I would not hesitate to go back.

Went for a convention. This is a great convention center. Great time.

Beautiful 2 story room with a patio, balcony, wet bar, living room and fire place. Had a great stay.

Rooms were nice enough but felt a bit like a motel. During my 3 night stay, house cleaning never came.

This was our 2nd stay here. I love this place so much. It's a wonderful family stay as well as romantic getaway. The shower is amazing! The pools are 24hours which is fantastic for those who check in later. Room service is on point. They have restaraunts on site as well as bellhops that can drive you around in awesome golf carts to locations within the resort. We will definitely be going back soon.

I stayed in a beautiful 2 story room. There was a Large living room & bathroom down stairs w/ a patio leading right out to the pool. A staircase lead to a bedroom, full bath, desk & additional patio that looked out onto a beautifully More

Very relaxing. Great for personal and business trips.

My party and I ordered drinks and food from the pool bar. The staff was very friendly and great to converse with and the food was delicious!

My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Housekeeping was very helpful and friendly. The only downside was having to go downstairs to get ice.

Went to a radio event. The conference rooms were nice, but the lobby had a musty odor.

I love the resort and have stayed many times. Last year they were under construction so when I stayed this year I was surprised to find out once again that there under construction. Disappointed
To say the least. When I complained to the desk about it they offered to comp me nights stay which I thought was more than fair. Well someone overstepped and the extra day disappeared. When I tried to speak to the manager then sent out a lacky to tell me that they could not do what they promised. I have many options when I stay in Scottsdale. Sadly this will be my last stay with them.

Felt super sick after eating in the restaurant. Everything is super over priced for low quality stuff. Room was outdated and I could hear everything the people on the room next to me were saying. Pool was decent.

The room was awesome. I especially liked the very plush carpet. There was lots of natural light and outdoor areas. The Jacuzzi was also pretty awesome.

Beautiful resort in the heart of Scottsdale. Stayed a couple nights and even got to enjoy a couples massage that relaxed all the stresses away. Grounds are wide open and filled with cacti. The pool was nice and quiet for us as in the middle of 100+ degree weather. Room has a nice mini fridge and k cup coffee machine. We utilized the summer special that took off the resort fees and have us 100$ a day to use at the hotel.

Disappointing reviews. I stayed there in 2011 and it was great. The room, the pool, the service. Everything was very good.

I was considering going back soon and after reading these reviews have to rethink my game plan.

When I was there in 2011 I made my reservations for two rooms on line. When I checked out I was told to call direct next time and I could get a better deal than booking on line. Naturally, that's appealing to me, however, the reviews are enough to scare me off.

Roach in room. Very dated. Air conditioner made lots of noises preventing us from sleeping. Food was disgusting. Service in restaurant was terrible. No smiles. Made us feel we were intruders. Just bad. Very bad. Would not go back nor recommend. Your experience may vary. Just sharing our experience.

Pleasant stay, got a little iffy first day, but the hotel took care of it and we ended up staying another day. Enjoyed the restaurants (suggest French Onion Soup, if you're a fan, it was great!). Quick room service, clean and well maintained. I would recommend this Resort, if you're in the area.

Beautiful place! The rooms are nice and there a lot of things to do there. It was nice spending time at the pool. The restaurant has good service and the food is delicious. The prices are not to bad for being a resort.

Attended a work function at Scottsdale Plaza. Nice atmosphere and decent dinner, however quite possibly the worst dessert I have ever had. Nothing enjoyable about it at all.

Went to this place for mother's day brunch. Other than that I have not been to many other amenities available or stayed at the resort. I can day from the brunch this year that it was excellent, classy, and had amazing food. The servers even went to the hotel restaurant to special order soup for my grandfather. It was very special of them to do that

Good location, nice staff, plenty of parking. Rooms were a little dated, minus the bathrooms.

My husband and I stayed here for one night for a staycation and absolutely looooved it! It wasn't super crowded, tons of pools and jucuzzis to choose from, great front-desk service, beautiful room and great price. Would definitely come again and would recommend to anyone.

I love staying here any time I come to the area. Check in is way late and that is probably the only complaint I have. The spa on site it a must do, staff is very friendly and accommodating as they did work diligently and let us check in about an hour early.

Girls weekend birthday party. Fantastic Happy Hour EVERYDAY 4-7 $5 Drinks AND FOOD. VERY GOOD!

The resort grounds are vey nice, including the pools and layout. They have a spa and room service will deliver to the pool. The rooms were spacious, up-to-date, and comfortable. The only negative was that I could not seem to get the room cool enough with the A/C. Friends staying in another room at the same time experienced the same problem.

Had a great time with friends in the swimming pool.

Nice hotel, friendly helpful staff and easy to find

It was ok... nothing to scream about. I wish they could at least have tv's that you are able to watch hulu or Netflix on, instead of just basic cable and 13 bucks a movie.

Worst experience ever we go to checkin and were declined due to credit card issues we come to find out that we were getting charged 110$ more than what we expected and clerk was unable to explain why we decided to leave the establishment we strongly advise you to look at your charges from this establishment thanks but no thanks

I loved this hotel, we rented a casita and they let us check-in early which made our over night stay seem even longer. We swam in the pool, got in the Jacuzzi, it was wonderful. They have several gorgeous pools and at night people gathered around the outdoor fire pits. Good times.

Unfriendly check in, old overpriced motel room. Beds were comfortable and bathroom clean but way overpriced. Resort fee is a joke. Would not recommend.

The service is excellent. We host our event there every year. Food is fantastic, drinks are great and employees are accommodating.

The Resort is one of the best I've ever been to. The rooms are very spacious, and the environment is very nice. Lots of nice looking cactus in the garden. There are plenty of pools, and they are open 24/7. The staff are also very friendly. It is a good place to go to!

I went there for corporate award ceremony.. the staff was very professional.. had an awesome time!! beautiful Resort... will repeat!

It was our first getaway in a long time!! The staff was amazingly friendly, pools an rooms were impeccable. The food was delish! Someone on here said try the salsa an they were not lying, it was fantastic!!! 24 hour pools was a bonus an it was not crowded so we practically had the pool to ourselves! All of the staff were wearing masks an practicing social distancing. The only complaint I had is the person in the room behind us was extremely loud this morning lol! We will definitely be returning!

Wow I will be back!! This place was really upscale. Everyone was happy no matter who they were. Walked past some workers leaving and they all said.. enjoy your evening... WOW.. no matter who we made eyes contact with they acknowledged us.. heck they spoke before we did!!! VERY high class place

I work for GrubHub and delivered food to few customers there the other day. But the hotel is so nice I would definitely recommend to friends and family to stay there when visiting. The staff was very nice. Place looked so clean and the atmosphere is so awesome

Great resort with 5 different pools, fitness center, one of the largest hot tubs ever, restaurants, bars, spa, room service and excellent shopping onsite and nearby. The property is so huge they provide free rides all over via their golf cart drivers that are safe and friendly. The rooms are like an apartment with all the amenities including your own private patio seating. I definitely recommend this resort facility!!

I love the Scottsdale Plaza Resort! Friendly staff and beautiful grounds. First trip was in November 2017 and I went back this month (April 2018) I requested the same suite I had in November and they have it to me. The food at JDs and the Garden Court is good. And the free popcorn every day is addictive! Lol

This is a must return spot for me!

Leveraged a Groupon for our stay & really enjoyed ourselves. The room was the perfect size. There's access to so many pools & it's a nicely groomed property. For gym rats such as myself, it did not disappoint & after being in lockdown for months it sure was nice to partake in a relaxing spa session.

We stayed during the pandemic (Father's Day weekend 2020), so we weren't sure what to expect. To our (pleasant) surprise, everything was open, including all pools, restaurants, fitness center, and spa, though the spa was extremely limited. There was even live music Fri & Sat nights!

We stayed without children and really enjoyed the resort. There are multiple pools, but lounge chairs and tables are scooped up quickly at all of them. There also aren't many features at any of the pools, so in my opinion, there are better choices for families with younger kids. I know my 4- and 6-year olds would have likely been a bit bored here. There's also an area with yard games including ping pong, ladders/golf, and cornholes, but again - not the best for little ones.

On the plus side, service is excellent at the pool. We were impressed with how many staff members were available in the main pool, as well as how many we saw doing housekeeping and other maintenance. All were wearing masks.

There's a main restaurant/sports bar, JD's, as well as an outdoor pizza joint and a poolside bar. We tried happy hour from JD's and drinks by the pool, and they were - as expected - so-so and pricey. Thankfully, there are tons of options very close by the resort! There's also a complimentary shuttle (tip your driver!), which we took to the Roaring Fork (highly recommend!) and thought this was an excellent value. Live music at JD's that went late Fri & Sat and it was rather rowdy. Another point for not being the most family-friendly option.

As far as the rooms, they're HUGE, ice cold, and pet-friendly. We had a king deluxe room and were able to comfortably fit our dog's large crate and all our luggage, plus spread out and work on our laptops. The showers are gorgeous and feel really upscale. We would absolutely stay again, but probably not with the kiddos!

Great resort. Always very clean and beautiful. Service is 5/5 as well. Downtown Phoenix is a bit far away but not too much of a problem.

The resort is great! The grounds are perfectly landscaped, the property is super safe to walk around at night, and the pool areas (yes, there are multiple pools!) are all great. The rooms are generously sized and mine had a gas fireplace! Ok, for the negatives... The breakfast buffet is really lacking for a resort of this calibur. Honestly, I've had better breakfasts at a Hampton Inn... It is good if it is free, let's just say that. Also, if you are arriving to the resort at night - good luck. The signs to navigate the parking lot are too small to see, and the parking lot and roadways between the rooms are basically pitch black. Pro Tip: Get a bellman to escort you to your room for the first time; you'll be glad you did! Otherwise, the place is great!

The Scottsdale plaza resort is very well kept, and it is nice to simply walk the grounds. The location is relatively close to Camelback mountain, which is nice, though the sun has to be pretty low for it to be "in the shadow" of the mountain. The resort is easy to get into and navigate through. The rooms are very nice, though they are slightly crowded in their groups. Swimming pools are available throughout the grounds, though they are all relatively small and plain; much better for relaxing adults than for children. Food is fantastic and reasonable, though not included with the rooms. The staff was excellent the entire time we stayed. Overall we had a wonderful time.

The resort was beautiful, when I went it was quiet not a lot of people very convenient to a lot of places around the area and good restaurants. It's more of an adult resort, I do like that they have more then one pool. The room was everage, just your normal standard room, nice shower and bathroom.

Staying here for a conference. The room is spacious and clean, the grounds and pool areas beautifully landscaped with a diverse array of vegetation unique to Arizona. The location is convenient for access to Pinnacle Peak and other area attractions. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and of high quality, but there are also lots of other options nearby.
