Such a hidden gem. I stayed in the suites with the fireplace and it was cozy and nicely decorated. The spa is small but mighty, Probably one of the best facials I've had in all the resorts I've been to. The bar / restaurant has good food and nice Saturday night entertainment. I definitely will be going again.

Hum... good news or bad news first? Good news is, if you're going to be sleeping on the sofa sleeper you're in luck! It's the most comfortable pull out bed i've ever slept in. Now the bad news. The wifi is awful! I mean awful! Hard to even stream a movie. And now that ties into the $25 dollar a night resort fee you have to pay. That is to use the wifi, pools, gym... so you're paying an outrageous fee for subpar service. The resort fee however does not include a microwave, or a fan. If you want either of those you have to rent them. All we wanted was to pop a bag of popcorn. We were told there were none on the property unless we payed the rental fee. So we had to drive to the nearest gas station to POP A BAG OF POPCORN! The room was just newly renovated so it was decently clean, but every single door in the suite was loud and squeaky. WD40 maintenance ... that's all I can say about that one. Basically to sum it up, if you want a clean, basic, over priced room, this is your spot. If you're looking for a bit more accommodation, I'd go elsewhere. We went for a birthday celebration for a 5 year old and they didn't even have a balloon. But they have rose petals Oh! Love at the front desk is lovely. Very nice and professional. She gets 5 stars.
I was there for like 5 minutes. The lobby was nice, they had free lemon and cucumber water. The restroom was clean. The chairs were nice. It was pretty. That's all I did there.
The rooms are nice and very large. The treasury itself is dated and not very good especially when compared to the Biltmore. I'm staying here because I'm on business
Amazing place, gorgeous landscape beautiful pools, only complaint was a dingle berry with a pube stuck in it on the bathroom floor. It was obviously overlooked during cleaning but still gross.
Beautiful resort, great rooms, friendly staff! Our only issue was the main pool was closed for 1/2 of our stay, and the pool bar we only got to enjoy for a day. You can order food/drinks to any other pool on the resort as if you were at the main pool bar, they do charge an absurd fee however to get it delivered. Other than that, this would be a 5* review! Will stay here again!
Friendly staff and super well maintained grounds.... plus I got to be witness to the tackiest wedding ever! Delightful ....No reflection on the resort, that was all on the couple ....
Fantastic, friendly, helpful staff. The propriety is big, so don't be afraid to ask for a ride on their golf shuttles. Buffet breakfast is a standard but decent fare; biscuits and gravy, if they have them, was very tasty.
Oh Wow! I have tired teacher feet Alissa gave me the ultimate foot combo. My bossy bunion isn't bossy anymore. My feet haven't felt this good in years. Thanks ever so much, Alissa!
Big rooms, fireplace in suites, huge property with heated pools. Tennis courts are also available and staff is friendly. Ideal for groups, not sure as individuals.
Remodeled, clean, nicely furnished room with coffe maker and a small fridge. The only thing I would say is negative is that the fridge was a bit noisy . On site restaurant is very good, food delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, nice stay.
Beautiful amazing great can't say enough about the stuff the best kosher" worldwide kosher company" Passover group room entertainment kids activity storage for women concert we had it all in one place
Love the fact that they have a 24 hr pool most places especially in Scottsdale have their pools opened till 11 which really sucks. I love coming here for a weekend getaway. 24 hr pool and hot tub. Room service and relaxation. A must stay place.
Great facility for a large work conference. Staff is responsive and courteous. Meeting rooms are brand new and accessible. Grounds are comfortable and offer a fitness center, tennis courts and pools. Good has been well beyond banquet style for a group of 200+, which is hard to do. All around great place to meet, confer, eat and then rest.
Fabulous staff. Great location. Food ok and pricey. Cook in your room (suites are HUGE) or head to Old Town to eat /shop. Watch your decorative pillows, bed covers for fluids. Rooms are huge. Views of camelback are breathtaking. Old Town has good shopping Silver Kiva for jewelry selection, negotiate pricing, great texmex and pizza locally.
The staff was very friendly, and helpful when I checked in. It didn't take to long. Check out was also pretty fast. I purchased my tickets on Hotwire, but if you don't, I over heard you will be charged a $25 resort fee a day too.
In my opinion this isn't a 4 star hotel. It had an old school flat screen with no HDMI out on it. I have been to many 4 star hotels in the last few weeks and most gave me 2 HDMI outs. I was not able to hook up my Ipad or computer to the TV like I do at every hotel. The bed was very stiff and the room itself was just ok. They did some nice renovations in the bathroom, and the shower was really nice. They need to do more work upgrading the room itself, starting with the TV.
I will find another hotel next time I need one over in that area.
We got a bi level suite with two queens, which was super nice and pretty spacious. The downstairs area was a nice lounge space with a pullout couch and both levels had bathrooms which was great for our group.
Very mediocre. We picked a place for our anniversary and I suppose accidently picked A giant convention facility that I find difficult to call a resort. I stayed here 3 years ago a night on business and somehow out of all the resorts, I picked this one. Ugh.
I guess it may have been something in 1990. So many other choices...
Hospitality of the staff was nice The Ahi salad, BBQ ribs, chicken Tings taco, and veggie breakfast omelette, were exceptionally delicious. My compliments to the chef and the SPR staff.
Came for a continuing education course. We let them know we'd be in very late the first night, and they had staff kept on hand to check us in and help get us to our room for the night. The attention to detail and care here has blown us away. Staff are all friendly and helpful. We've really enjoyed our stay.
Stayed for only one night and was on property very little, but it was a pleasant stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. The property is obviously much older and hasn't had a lot of structural updates (still uses window until ACs, for example), but it was very well kept. The room was clean and comfortable and reasonably nice. I would not consider this a 4 star resort. I would give it 3 or maybe 3.5 stars with all things considered.
Had a summer special staycation for the evening. Great value! Clean room, great staff (say hi to Barb at the pool bar!), and just a really easy and enjoyable experience.
The good photographer did wonders to allure the clients to this place, but what a disappointment! We have booked the Scottsdale Plaza Resort king suit for 2 nights and I was looking forward to staying here. The whole property looked like a tired appointment complex, and the rooms were roomy, but so dated, they did new carpet and new tile, but it is still feels like the building from 80s. The decor is minimal. One gold frame picture looks like it was bought on the garage sale. The smell of the new carpet in the rooms (smell of glue and some other industrial odor). The swimming pool (1 of 5 on the property is a joke. It can be called a resort by any stretch of imagination). Very disappointed.
Really nice resort. Our room was recently remodeled and the facilities were well kept. There was a mix up with our room the first night, but they gave us a comparable room and free breakfast for two days for our party. We were very satisfied with the resort.
We were offered a king room because they had plenty available because of the Covid-19. This was an upgrade from our previous room, but failed to mention we would be charged extra. Then, the food. We ordered room service, 30 minutes later we get a call saying she didn't put our order in and that shed take it down again. We didn't get our room service for at least an hour. Once we did, the food was cold. The 10$ cake slices were extremely small (not worth 10$ each). The food was okay. For two people, it cost us 74 dollars. The next day, we where checking out the area, going for a walk. We noticed at least 30-40 all swimming together in the pool. This is extremely dangerous considering the pandemic going on right now. Lastly, we picked up our breakfast on the way out and it was just unacceptable for the price. 14 dollars for an okay omelet and extremely soggy potatoes, to the point you'd think they were from days before and they just microwaved them. We had expected more from a resort like this.
The rooms are nice, fairly sizable. The room and furniture are similar to higher end hotels. Bathroom seems to have been recently updated, has large tiled shower with great water pressure. Bed is comfortable. A/C and mini fridge are quite loud. The grounds are quite nice, nice pool, tennis courts. Our conference and meeting rooms are quite comfortable, drinks are refreshed regularly. Parking and WiFi is 'free' in that it is included in your $22/day Resort free. The WiFi on my room is strong and fast enough to watch Netflix. Hotel shuttle from airport is $23 each way. Just Uber. My room has that 'just not clean enough' feel to it. There was trash under one of my beds.
for the price, not impressed. when we arrived, there was a bowl and some trash on our steps and on the sidewalk; a couple of the complimentary toiletries were half used; the rooms and the complex are aged--the carpet in our room is dingy with stains. we went to the restaurant/bar the first night for a drink and quick bite--i would recommend eating outside of the resort; the food was mediocre at best. we shortened our stay and moved to the Hilton.
This is the second time we stayed on the property and Itvwas amazing they're was amazing food, clean rooms, 3 pools and 2 hot tubs the 2 story suite was amazing. 2 large bathrooms and a beehive fire place.
The resort itself is nice but I found piece of chips and crumbs on the chair when I was about to sit. It was gross. But really, this resort is nice only room was not clean.
I've been here about 4 times now with my family. We always have had a great time, but this last visit was the best! We were able to get a poolside room, with a patio that opened to the pool. It was such a great set up and I wish we had more time to spend there! The staff is always helpful and kind, even when we called multiple times to get different things. Will definitely recommend to others and be coming back again!
We were so shocked at how large the rooms are! So much bigger and more beautiful than we thought with tons of extra amenities like a fireplace, TWO full bathrooms, balconies, and much more. The pictures online really don't do the place justice, the rooms and the grounds are top-notch and gorgeous! The pools are heated which is so nice for a morning or late night swim and the hot tub is super hot with great jets, both are exceptionally clean. I would say my only complaint would be that the room service menu/food is very expensive which would be fine if the food was also high quality..but unfortunately I was very unimpressed with the food, its texture and flavor. Not really worth it, would recommend you enjoy the room and resort activities but go somewhere else for dinner. All in all though, truly an excellent stay and would highly recommend!
Check in is so easy, rooms were real clean and smells clean, staffs were real nice, spacious room, location is nice, we will be back again, my family had a great time.
