Love art...you'll probably for at least one exhibit or department that will trigger you happily.

Love architecture...this place is arguably fantastic for the views and stone alone.

Want to catch your breath and chill with a friend over lunch...go here.

Angelinos are lucky to have this place.

Visiting The Getty is definitely worth it! The admission is free aside from $20 parking which can be split amongst your group if you carpool. The outdoor areas are so peaceful and beautiful with a great view of the city. I recommend bringing food and having a picnic as there are lots of places to sit at tables or on grass. And of course the art exhibits are a lot of fun too!

I have been to some pretty amazing museums and galleries, however the Getty really blows them out of the water! The views are spectacular and the property is sprawling, covered with lovely sculptures, gardens and back dropped by killer architecture.

Best of all it's FREE! I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful gardens, walkways, and indoor art exhibits. There is also some of the best views in LA from numerous balconies. This is a great place to spend a day walking around. The winding pathways through the gardens are magical, and there are so many classic pieces of art work indoors. Beautiful pools of water as well.

A must when in Los Angeles. Be prepared to spend the day there. Small budget tip: bring your own food to enjoy a nice picnic in the gardens. The restaurant offer is pretty good, but not cheap. The centre is free-entrance, but people have to access by car (20$ all-day fee) or public transport.

Spectacular setting on a hill with 360 degree views. Amazing white stone architecture gleams in the sunlight. An excellent art collection with some big-name artists. Impressionist collection especially impressive.

Amazing museum, I went here for extra credit for Art History this past Spring and I found nice artwork of Jesus and all the Greek artwork I was looking for. Unfortunately they only have a small section of Greek sculptures and barely any Roman sculptures and you have to visit the other center in order to see them. It was a great experience but it poured that day so I didn t see more art. I like it and will visit again.

On vacation. This was one of my "must see" spots on my lists of things to do. Loved it! The view from the top of the mountain, the multiple buildings filled with exhibits, the outdoor sculptures! Everything was fabulous!

The Getty is a treat from outside to inside. The permanent and new exhibits are superb. The gardens are also wonderful in the CA winter. Come early and stay late. In fact come often and linger with a few of your favorite pieces.

Is free to get into but it will cost you $15 of you arrive before 3:00 or $10 after. The best part of the Getty for me was the building and it's location. A fantastic set of spaces. The view of the city and surrounds is not to be missed and the outdoor garden and pool is a very popular but restful place. The at itself will depend on when you go there. When we where there it was ok. Only a few things made me go "wow". Thus place is well worth a visit.

A great place to visit on a budget. First, the parking is $15 but there is no admission fee. We took the tram up to the museum, which was actually pretty quick. We had lunch, which was delicious but a little pricey ($15 for a tasty, pre-made salad). The view is spectacular and you can't beat the art exhibits for the (free admission) price.

I love the Getty! Unfortunately, the weather was a bit rainy and misty but I would def go again. They have sculptures, paintings, special exhibitions, and more. Parking was about $15 and the tram was free. Also, they have umbrellas set up around the facility that one can borrow and return.

I am from New York in typically Ian used to paying and entrance fee however there was no entrance fee and there is so much to see it was well organized and the grounds around the area were beautifully maintained and so tranquil.

Fabulous venue. Other than the art on display the location and architecture of The Getty is reason alone to go there. Entry to the museum itself if free you just pay for parking. It will take more than 3-4 hours to park, get to the museum do a quick round and leave. So budget your time accordingly. Must see if u are in LA.

always a fun time when coming here. I can just stay here all day and learn about their different types of art and where it came from. It is incredible all the history of art this museum holds. and it doesn't hurt its freeee

Awesome place with great views. Lots to see if you are into art/history museums. The property has multiple buildings, food is a bit overpriced there. The museum entrance is free, you just have to pay $15 for parking.
