Amazing time here with friends. Stayed at the Inn, and our room was very clean and unique. It almost felt like we were sleeping on a second floor sleeping porch like they had in the old days, only everything was modern and comfortable

Beautiful, age specific hotel. I stayed in a guest house sweet. The room was super clean and the furniture was true to the arts and crafts era that Roycroft is famous for. Did not dine in the hotel, but plan on returning soon for a longer visit.

Stayed in the guest house. Meager room for the price. Room tiny although clean and comfortable. The heater was so loud when it turned on sounded like a jet engine! No coffee maker in room. Floors above creaked like crazy and you could basically hear every sound in the house. There was a public bathroom next to our room...what's up with that???. No breakfast included. Thanks anyway, will stick with Russells!

Very nice hotel, tidy and well attired. Front desk staff were friendly and professional. The room's furnishing were period pieces and the style was not like the usual modern hotel, but rather something from the early 1900s; I found this to be a pleasant surprise.

Always a great meal at the Roycroft Inn. We started out with Oysters Rockefeller. They were excellent. Nice rich oysters with spinach , a light cream sauce with a bacon essence sprinkled with panko and lightly browned. I had the salmon special with currants and balsamic glaze. It was dressed with a light spring salad with goat cheese and a couscous(I think) side dish. My husband had a sword fish steak with shrimp and lobster ceviche. Our compliments to the chef!!! For dessert we had to have the creme brulle with blueberries and whipped cream. One of the best I've had. Not too sweet...just right.

Wonderful food and service. However the band took over at 7pm. The sound throughout the restaurant was deafening. You could not carry on a conversation.i felt like I was at the old ground round instead of time dining. We wait all week for a quiet dinner together and get a fast food atmosphere at a fine inn

BEAUTIFUL building. I attended a rehearsal dinner here, so I did not experience the traditional menu. The food I did eat was delicious. The drinks were off...not sure if the bartender was new. The venue (both inside and outside) was ideal for large groups.

The main lobby has authentic Arts and Crafts decor with beautiful murals. Some of the furniture was a little threadbare. There was a volunteer there to answer any questions about the place and the Arts and Crafts movement, and Elbert Hubbard. She even gave us a package of information. Charming. We arrived just after the Sunday brunch had wrapped up, so had to find a place in town. Our room opened to a large dressing area with Stickley wardrobe and dresser. I think it was bigger than the bedroom. The bedroom was a small space with only room for a bed and two night tables. There is a curtainless glass-paned door and window that separate the dressing area from the bedroom. Sitting on the bed I felt it was looking into a hallway. Upper windows were cloudy with dirt. The other small room is L-shaped with a desk and chair in one part, and a wicker chair and ottoman in the other that had seen better days (broken wicker, finish scraped off), and a table with a TV. Behind the wicker chair was another window to nowhere sharing the wall with the bathroom toilet. No place for two people to sit together, unless one were to sit at the desk. The rooms are advertised with a standard whirlpool tub. I was looking forward to this, but the non-slip surface on the bottom of the tub was black with dirt that accumulates from the oil of feet, etc. Drain was rusty. DUST was everywhere!! Either the HVAC has serious air filter problems or the housekeeping staff doesn't have vacuum cleaners or dust cloths or instruction to use them. Dust was imbedded in the weave of the wicker towel stand in the bath. Every corner of the bathroom baseboard molding especially near the tub was gray with dust. There was dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor and dust on the top surfaces of all of the woodwork, the rest of the baseboard moldings, on the windowsills of the two windows to nowhere, on every wooden blind. Bathroom tile was beautiful! Bathroom magnifying mirror was missing a piece. Big crack between threshold and bedroom wood floor filled with dust/dirt. Very nice Stickley furniture. Nice Wm. Morris wallpaper. Tray with ice bucket, two glasses, Perrier, and mints, but tray is losing its finish. Given the beautiful art from the era, the only artwork on the walls was two 2-color reproductions of vintage advertisements for the Roycroft Inn from FRA magazine. We could hear every footstep of the people walking on the squeaky wooden floor in the room above us. After thinking about staying here for years, I was disappointed. Room 209 (Beethoven). I hope the other rooms are better.

The Roycroft Inn is an entire dining experience. The artisinal design of the building, detailed decor and furninshings even down to the gorgeous sliverware it feels purposeful and elegant. The food suits the scene as the chefs clearly also cook with intention and art in mind. Well done! An excellent place to celebrate an occasion or have a quiet date night

Visited the Roycroft Inn in the fall when all the trees were turning colors, and the inn blended in with the outside environment perfectly. Inside, all of the Arts and Crafts furnishings and room designs are really beautiful. Would have really liked to spend a night there and eat at the restaurant as it all looked really inviting.

Here for a work meeting in one of their conference rooms. Food was good, as well as service. Very nice hotel with unique decor. Conference chairs were very uncomfortable for an all day event.

Disappointed with Roycroft which is known to be an outstanding restaurant. Our party of six was seated at a table near double swinging doors to a butler's room and my seat was backed up to a cold a/c vent. The halibut I had was dry and just warm and partners beef filet was not medium well done instead medium rare and warm too. Pricy for quality and quantity. Staff and waitress were friendly.

I live a block away, so I haven't stayed here. Friends and family from out of town often have when visiting us, though. We also love the Roycroft for a nice dinner, the bar and small plates, or Sunday brunch. The dining rooms are all nice, the menu changes seasonally, and the ambiance is so east aurora. The art, architecture, decor, and historical photos are all part of the village history, super unique and recognizable. Most people know the arts and crafts style and the Roycroft font, well here's where it started.

The Roycroft is amazing! It's got a great past. During the Industrial Revolution, Elbert Hubbard was trying to fall back on old values, such as custom-made is better than factory-made. The buildings are very cool, and the hotel restaurant has great service. If you are ever in East Aurora, you should definitely visit the Roycroft!

We went to Roycroft for Sunday brunch. Their buffet is lovely and had plenty to please everyone in our large party of 10. R oycroft has become our restaurant of choice for brunch in recent years because it is spacious, the staff is professional and pleasant, and the food doesn't disappoint.

A hidden gem where the U.S. Arts and Craft movement started by Hubbard. Decor of that period has been, thankfully, preserved. Inn rooms are amazing - HUGE - and also retaining old decor. I find myself studying the phenomenal furniture and building architecture in both the sleeping quarters and the Inn's reception and restaurant. There is a "campus" with other buildings of same vintage (and shops and museum) celebrating that movement. So sad Hubbard died so young on the Lisatania. His movement would have expanded greatly by his energy had that visionary lived to a more elderly age. I always stop there in my travels through that region for the pleasure and motivational experience. You should as well!

Get here! Paradise, unless one is looking for ultra-modern. Poo on ultra-modern. Worth the time and money. Better to stop here than dingy old Buffalo. They do have complimentary Wi-Fi, unlike certain Ritz hotels.

We just finished a delicious New Year's Eve dinner. Believe the hype! This is a quality restaurant. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. As busy as it was our server (Sue) was fantastic. Service was spot on and we never felt rushed. My scallops and risotto was perfect and my wife's filet was cooked to perfection. Try a 3Kings cocktail. Very nice. Great job Roycroft Inn!
