The room was comfortable and spacious. I would recommend asking for a third floor room though. We were on the second floor and the floor above us was very noisy. The floors were creaking with every step and didn't stop well into the night.

We went down for breakfast Sunday morning and they weren't serving until 10:00. They only have a $30.00 per person brunch....no individual breakfast at all. We went elsewhere. They should have stated that when we checked in.

The Inn is beautiful! The historic building is comfortable and the architecture is gorgeous. Our room was spacious. The restaurant is also excellent, if a little slow in the winter off season.

Eh. The food was on the expensive side and service was decently slow. The food was good and the server was very nice. But it took a long long time for our meal. We were seated by 630 and finished at 9. That's a bit too long. Drinks also took a while after they were ordered.

We enjoyed our anniversary lunch on the spacious Roycroft Inn veranda. The service was excellent. They kept our water glasses filled throughout the lunch. We were also treated to cheddar biscuits while we waited for our lunch to arrive. Our order included french onion soup with a Brandi broth, a Cobb salad, and a Ceasar salad. It was very relaxing and tasty.

Excellent service in a relaxing environment. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal sitting alongside the fireplace in the beautiful room behind the lounge area. It was comfy and easy to carry on a conversation. The food was delicious too. The beef kabob special was very tender and tasty .I highly recommend it.

Quaint local place, really only just hype for locals.
Food was so so. The top on the creme brulee was actual rock candy. Odd.
We asked for dessert menus be brought after drinks but staff a no show. Had to hunt down service three times.
Honestly, not worth the price.

Always a great experience. Food, service and atmosphere all top notch. One of my favorite places to visit for dinner, food pairings, brunch, music in the craftsman lounge, special events or even just a burger like tonight. Chef Andrew is amazing and could make an old shoe taste good. Good food from good people. Love it there.

Truly a gem of a hotel for those interested in early 20th century history and art. Galleries to visit, lots of amazing art and artists to meet with for a very memorable experience. The rooms are absolutely spectacular, staff exceptionally friendly, fantastic restaurant and an easy walk to downtown Aurora with boutiques and some small town charm. We will most certainly be returning again.

The food was seasoned very nicely. Risotto was creamy & delicious:nice twist of cranberry & pine nuts. Both dinners could have been hotter though. Staff pleasant. Surprised us with glass of champagne for our anniversary-nice touch

The Roycroft Inn is one of my WNY favorites to dine because of its rustic elegance, novel menu and East Aurora location. That being said, the food and service are consistently inconsistent, but not so much that it would ever dissuade me from a visit.

The place blows my mind. The place has an old-world charm and the inside is as attractive as the outside. I walked into our room with open-mouthed amazement. I love it here. Everything is elegant and the staff is so nice.

Called to order their "TAKE OUT" Thanksgiving meal...

Called to order their "TAKE OUT" Thanksgiving meal. You know, they cook it, you come in and pick it up and take home to eat. These presumptive jerks had the cojones to ask if "we'd like to leave a tip NOW via credit card or cash tip when we come in?" First off, who the hell leaves a tip BEFORE service and/or seeing their food? More importantly this is akin to walking into Wegman's to order a sub and the people behind the counter expecting you're going to tip them! Or McDonald's even. You COOKED MY FOOD. No table service, no cleaning of dishes, no delivery. You are one step above my going to the store and procuring the items and cooking it myself. The markup between the original cost of the food and what I pay is your profit and in the REAL BUSINESS WORLD it covers your labor, utilities, and net profit. Who are the idiots TIPPING these people simply because they prepared the food? The cost above buying & cooking yourself is in itself the ENTIRE REASON it costs more than just doing it on your own. There should be ZERO reason to tip in a situation like this!

If you live in EA and you are supporting shenanigans like this, shame on you! No wonder we've got a generation or two of kids that expect everything to be just handed to them!

I ordered a room with two queens for four people and I got a full and a pullout coach. The pull out was so uncomfortable I would rather have slept on the floor. It was really hot and the AC was not working despite setting it to low

I accidently left my hairbrush. When I called the afternoon after checkout when I discovered its loss, the desk clerk he would speak to housekeeping. After several days of not receiving a return phone call, I called again. I was again assured the matter would be investigated. I never heard back from them. This was a very expensive Mason & Pearson hairbrush which will cost me about $150 to replace. I had better service from a Pennsylvania State Park, where after discovering the brush must have fallen out of my car, a park ranger went to my campsite, found it, and mailed it back expeditiously.

We went to the Roycroft as we have been for the past 3 year for mothers day, this year was not the best. The service was less than good, I should not have to beg for a coffee or water refill and ask to have our plates removed as we come back to our table with seconds. To charge $38.00 for an adult and have ok food and terrible service is not what we expected.
We paid $19.00 each for a 4 and 6 year old who had a piece of frenchtoast some fruit and a cupcake. Looking elsewhere for next year.

After researching a number of sites we chose the Roycroft for a very special birthday dinner party in our family. Well worth the little bit of a drive for those coming from the northtowns. Everything was perfect!!! The food was outstanding, the setting & atmosphere the best, the staff so pleasant. Our server Mark was top notch!!!!!! Worked with David in planning and he made everything so easy . With David in the planning and Mark serving us on the day we couldn't have been in better hands! I highly recommend the Inn !

We thought we had to wait for a long time for 2 burgers. The table next to us changed 2 times. The server seemed to be afraid to come back. Burgers were ok but nothing special. We probably won't go back.

they got our reservation wrong and wouldn't compensate for it, basically shrugged thier shoulders and told us take it or leave it and don't expect a discount or anything else... Bed was horrible, they have better mattresses at a no tell motel. Also I don't know what they wash the linens in, but my husband started to break out in the middle of the night in head to toe hives. When I explained it to the front desk, they said we should have called ahead if anyone had sensitive skin! Why? Shouldn't all linen be washed as if people have sensitivities? Ridiculous... We left in the middle of the night because of this... Still refused to compensate us in ANY WAY! It's really too bad because they hotel is beautiful and nostalgic.... For 150 a night you think that they would make sure all guest were comfortable and accommodated and would hire staff that cared more about customers..Never again... The one reason it has one star is because zero is not and option...

This was our first time to the Roycroft. We only came for dinner and did not stay at the Inn. It's a very unique place, the way it's designed. The dinner was very good and the staff was attentive and friendly.

Service is good and the food is fine. Overall, fine. Great bathroom; very good.

This is a good place if you need to go somewhere more upscale and can't get reservations at a restaurant with really high quality food, but still want to feel upscale.

The iPhone SE of restaurants.
