I stayed overnight for wedding on August 17. I made a last minute reservation; and, there was only one room left, 102. The room itself was lovely, with several exceptions. There was a hallway light that shined brightly, into the sitting room, which was adjacent to the bedroom. All night long, I think it was the AC unit, that kept going on and off making horrendous sounds. Then early in the morning around 6:00 am, all I could hear was the kitchen staff making loud noises. Not a restful night, at all, for the price of $199.

This is a fantastic restaurant! The staff have always been very friendly and polite. I made reservations for a larger party for a Sunday brunch and the table was set and ready to go right on time! The food is also amazing! For brunch they have a wide selection of food as well as a omelet station and a pancake station. They also have a huge desert table with amazing deserts. I believe it was $30 a person for brunch which also included a drink. Well worth the stop!

Many times we've been here, each time has been terrific. Beautiful, quaint, roomy, well built, as tested by time, and the staff are always gracious.
The only draw back is if one is guesting with a light sleeper, the floors are really creaky... This could be a benifit if ninjas are trying to kill you in your slumber, and you happen to be a light sleeper also.

Although we did not have reservations, they did seat us. The waitress was obviously upset when we asked for separate checks at the beginning. She took our drink order and came back about 10 minutes later, then left. Came back about 15 minutes later and took our lunch order. She brought my French onion soup. The bread on it was like rubber but since she didn't check back with us I had to tell the bus boy. Then she brought our meals and my meal was cold as was one other. The other 3 meals were OK but nothing more. When we asked for our bills she replied that it was going to take longer because she had to separate them. Once we finally paid, my bill was paid with cash but I didn't get any change. I went looking for the person who was cashing us out and explained my concerns. She asked if we had reservations and I said no. She said to come back another time but to be sure to make reservations. I was not happy.

Sunday brunch at the Roycroft Inn is hands-down one of the best offerings in Western New York. The food and service is worthy of royalty and a string quartet sets a mood to match. If you're in East Aurora, do not miss it.

I came here for dinner for my boyfriend's birthday. We had a wonderful time! The locale is beautiful, and there are a lot of sites to see in the area. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the servers are professional and helpful. The menu has a lot of options, and all of the meals are finely made. The prices are somewhat expensive, but it is well worth the price for an occasional visit. For the 4 of us it was about $135 with tip. The only problem were the large amount of flies that landed on our food. If it weren't for the flies our meal would have been perfect. I am sure we could have requested to eat inside however and they would have been more than accommodating.

Brunch is great here. We didn't even think of it for our wedding until our sever suggested it. And you know what it was perfect. And people could stay over. And then we all had brunch together the next morning. For brunch ask for rita!

I attended a wedding reception here in September of 2012. The facilities were beautiful and the staff was polite and attentive. The Inn catered the appetizers and I was able to sample the stuffed mushrooms, crab, and bruschetta. Everything was pretty delicious.

The main course consisted of salmon along with a caesar salad which was also quite good. The open bar was a nice touch and the bartender was friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend choosing the Roycroft for either dinner or a larger reception.

Great food and service in a very special setting, the birthplace of the Arts and Crafts movement. It's a magical place, with many different spaces -- the deep porch, the casual and comfortable lounge, and several rooms that are suitable for large groups.

We had a wonderful experience here. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. We also enjoyed the best crab cakes we have ever had. Great menu. Many different dining room environments. The building itself is gorgeous. They were friendly to my teen age boys and there was food choices to please all. Their sliver deserts are a great idea.

Located in the very cute little town of East Aurora, the Roycroft Inn looked more like a castle. Dining was very upscale. Rooms were roomy but slightly dated. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay. And also check out 42 North brewing company.

Any place that welcomes Indited Chris Collins/ Steve Bannon is not someplace I would dine or lodge with my family. Taking my business to a less political environment... suggest you all do the same. Such a shame, we all use to love the place.

Hosted a wedding ceremony and reception here for 100 people in 2010. Amazing venue! Coordinator assisted in all menu and space planning and even was the coordinator for every aspect of the show the day-of! David Majka is a gem of a man, and our wedding was a success due to his guidance!!

My husband and I ate here for Valentine's day. The staff was excellent, very attentive and gave good recommendations for drinks and dessert. I had the french onion soup (very good but not my favorite), the daily fish special and the chocolate flourless cake. The soup and cake were good but the fish in my entree was overcooked and bland. I ended up not eating most of it. The vegetables and rice were very simple and didn't take the dish anywhere special. I would not get that again. My husband ordered the daily crepe and it was ok but nothing to brag about. We probably won't go again for lunch.

Came here to watch a local band play. It wasn't my cup of tea musicwise but I appreciated the unique environment that is the Roycroft. Drinks were ok, bar staff friendly enough and it gave you a sense of the traditional East Aurora feel you get from many of the places in town. A little crowded and a small bar to stand at but they had full service wait staff who were eager to top up your drinks through the night.

Bed was horrible. Heating system was noisy and we couldn't sleep at all. Driveway ran past room and we listened to cars coming and going late into the evening. I've gotten better sleep at trucker motels.

The Inn is quaint, has very good food but does not care for their guests. Rooms are noisy from the age of the hotel. Also being a supposedly a fine hotel the service is very careless of guests needs. We had a rehearsal dinner there that went fine and then housed the entire wedding party and numerous guests for the wedding that was held at another nearby location the next day. Flowers were delivered to the Roycroft for the wedding party members who were preparing at the Roycroft clearly marked for our wedding. The Roycroft did nothing to deliver them and even after the wedding we never had the flowers so they allowed them to be discarded or walked off with. It was enormously bad service and very disappointing not having flowers for the wedding.

Didn't stay but was forced to eat a second time. Food was even worse than the first time. I ordered chicken parmigiana which was burned black on the bottom. Coming to the area again this week. I hope like mad I can avoid a third trip. Aside from the food, the place is gloomy.
