A hidden gem where the U.S. Arts and Craft movement started by Hubbard. Decor of that period has been, thankfully, preserved. Inn rooms are amazing - HUGE - and also retaining old decor. I find myself studying the phenomenal furniture and building architecture in both the sleeping quarters and the Inn's reception and restaurant. There is a "campus" with other buildings of same vintage (and shops and museum) celebrating that movement. So sad Hubbard died so young on the Lisatania. His movement would have expanded greatly by his energy had that visionary lived to a more elderly age. I always stop there in my travels through that region for the pleasure and motivational experience. You should as well!
