I spent the day with third-graders who were given a field trip. It included a backstage tour, a Rose staff member who was dedicated to each classroom group, imagination, design, casting, rehearsal, and performing for the other groups! My old knees didn't enjoy all the trips up and down stairs, but that's the only drawback to the experience. This is an educational event, and doesn't include a performance of the current production. They do get to see the stage during their tour.

Love this place,, has been around for years. Alot of history in that building.

We saw Newsies here tonight and a few years ago saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Both were fantastic. Our kids are teens now, but we find the Rose is a much more affordable way to see shows than the Orpheum. Many of their basic productions are geared toward younger kids. I love how at the end some of the cast comes out to answer questions that people have. They also sign autographs. Great family option. I thought no they also have acting classes and camps.

Did I love the show? Not so much. But the kids did and it was a great experience for them. Lots of laughing.

Great shows! I went and saw Anne Frank a couple days ago, and it was a great performance!

A beautiful theater that puts on quality plays for kids and offers fun classes as well.

Great for all ages the atmosphere created in the theater this excellent. The performances they offer are great for the community. A great place for children to enjoy themselves and learn about the theater. I recommend visiting this establishment at least once. I hold it in the highest regards. One of the greatest places Omaha has to offer. A perfect family experience that won't disappoint.

Oh my gosh my daughter loves this place she had so much experience she's had so many classes here all the teachers are great this place is very child-friendly very interactive for your children when your child does that class they're their inspired use their regiment imagination in the whole bunch of other things every time I daughter goes there she comes out as happy as can be

What a beautiful building! The show's that they produce are impeccable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the crew backstage is top notch!

Lots of great plays in a beautiful old theater. I took lessons as a kid when it was on Center, and enjoyed it. A great time for the family.

Beautiful architecture, great design on the stage props! We went to see the production of Matilda the Musical. It was very nicely done, and the actors were all fantastic!! The theater is easy to move through. Not too big, not too small. Would love to come again soon!

It is and always has been a great place to see a live theater

I am in awe of the programming they have for special needs children. My son is having so much fun in the acting classes. It is really tapping into is imagination. Thank you to the wonderfully talented and helpful staff. We're looking forward to more classes.

Entertaining plays for the family. The staff is always kind and helpful.

Thier coordinators don't know how to treat thier guests especially when they are children went for Peter kiewits field trip with boys and girls club...we were the first group to get called down and then got lectured for coming down and everyone got loaded while we had to wait tucked in a stairwell. Besides that the show was great!

I guess it wasn't our turn to talk to dead people to..

I love this theater. It looks positively regal. It's laid back enough for kids but it's fancy enough to be special. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. It's most definitely worth the trip and most performances are reasonably priced.

Visited The Rose for the first time for a backstage tour. Absolutely beautiful theater and the history lesson of the theater was very informative and well given. Our tour guide answered every question we threw at her and was entertaining. A great place that does a lot for the community!

The Rose Theater For Family Entertainment gives children the opportunity to explore their creative side of life ! It also helps them to interact with other children outside of school and gives their parents a chance to see what their child's true talents are on stage . I was amazed how the new owners transformed the old Astro Theatre into this wonderful place for both families and guests here in Omaha , Nebraska . Yours Truly Mr.Cottrell .

Just saw How to build an ark/Joe Sartore. It was very cute & well done. I hope they are able to get this play in front of a lot of children.

Great children's theater. Wonderful place to introduce kids to theater. If they get excited and talk during performance or try to talk to characters, no one chastises them. Performances are generally very entertaining. They offer plays that appeal to different age groups.

A great Performance as usual. We started out taking our children to the theater and now we take the grandchildren! We love The Rose.

We have taken our son when younger, and his family now to shows here and always loved it. The grandchildren adore the shows. They put on wonderful productions that everyone can enjoy. We have been members of the Rose Theater for many years now. What a beautiful older theater. The remodeling a few years ago has really brought back its glory.
