The Roman Baths is a great preservation of Roman architecture that you would never suspected to be here. It's very similar to one's seen in Italy. The studio guided tour is included in the admission and is worth a visit.

Excellent experience - great audio-guide that tells you more than you thought you wanted to know whilst keeping the entire experience truly interesting. Managed to join a guided tour with a chap that really knew his stuff, and helped recreate Roman times at the Baths.
Took us just over 2 hours to cover the lot and felt the value for money was good.
Would recommend for families with teenage children, or as a couples' day out.

This is an amazing place to experience history. The Roman Baths are as old as 70AD, could you be at a place older than this! The audio guide a precise and give enough information about the place and history. Must visit place. Ensure you set out at least 2 hours to see the place.

Very interesting and well preserved. A little puzzled by the sign by where water runs into the main pool saying that you should not touch the water as it is untreated! Healing to the Romans yet deadly to us?

Fascinating history and geology. If in Bath, you have to visit. May not be suitable for children under 8 as the tour is quite informational and you would miss alot if you were not taking your time to listen to the free audiotour

Exceptionally good visitor attraction. Lots of history and a real understanding of what life was like both under the Romans and in later times.

Underground baths are well preserved and really show the scale of the original baths facility. Good audio visual aids to bring it to life.... including naked Romans!

Well worth a visit. Leave plenty of time to see it all and best to book ahead online. No problem taking photos in any part of the complex.

A worthwhile place to visit. There is so much history in there. Also, would definitely recommend the guides, we learned so much about the place and they have special kids mode, so my 5 years old was engaged too. She loved it and was able to talk to me about the baths after, telling me the facts she learned. There is also kids activity pack and its all included in the price. There are 3 floors, so allocate at least an hour and a half for the place. Well adjusted to new Covid-19 rules. Felt safe and the social distancing addressed perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

Impressive Roman baths, particularly well preserved / restored with a hot spring still active. The objects found on the site are well highlighted. Quality audio guide for children and adults. Note: during the coronavirus crisis, admissions are very limited (reservation required), which was a privilege during this high tourist season. The visit was fantastic. Highly recommended.

A surprising amount to see and learn, the audio tour is a must (and the children's audio tour is as good as the adult one). The layout isn't great though, if it's even slightly busy the audio tour results in people congregating and 'getting stuck' in places.

They did a really good job to perserve the site while educating visitors about what happened. The audio guide is brilliant, there is even a kids version. It managed to keep my 7 years old engaged, which enabled us to visit and learn about this wonderful place and its history. Highly recommend for everyone including families!

The 2000 year old Roman Bath is a wonderful historic/geographic site to visit in Bath town, where nearly 100,000 litres of hot water gushes from the ground.

We opted for an Audio Guide Tour and it was very enlightening to learn about the history of the place. They also run guided tours every hour. I was very impressed with how they have excavated and developed this as a world class tourist attraction. They have used projectors to recreate scenes from the old ages when the Bath was operational. You can also taste the waters towards the end of the tour. I highly recommend visiting here. We took nearly 2 hours to complete our visit. Additionally, do spend some time at Bath town, which is equally alluring as well.

Really interesting place to visit, with plenty of information about the discovery and preservation. Careful where you walk; many uneven stone surfaces. And the place is often completely overrun with tourist groups. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely brilliant, with the current situation making it incredibly tough to police everyone going round the baths safely it was refreshing to see the staff coping with it effortlessly.

Bought a ticket online so I could skip the queue but the queue wasn't that long anyway. Audio guide is included with the ticket and the audio guide is quite interesting and informative. The bath water is green, best not to touch it as the guides told people who touched it to wash their hands to be safe.

Excellent museum that we discovered on a tour that included going to Bath and to Stonehenge. Bath is very pretty and I thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the baths and learned so much. This is a must if you are in the area.

Very nice visit, very beautiful roman bath and interesting museum about the history of these hot springs. With the audio tour we spent most of our two and a half hours in Bath inside the Roman Baths, so plan to go there with time to fully enjoy it.

Amazing experience! The way they were able to preserve the place and how they managed the visits it's wonderful. You get to learn so many things and see so many historical artefacts. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and polite. I was there in August and it was crowded, but even so, it was worth it.

Nice

Great disability access but a little uneven however my car boot scooter coped very well. And very impressive place notwithstanding the fact it in the centre of bath which I have to say it's beautiful in itself. You certainly won't be bored! Miley advice for disabled travellers but they let your friends take the lift with you because it does not always take you to the same place as the stairs

Interesting place, well organised, good standard throughout, only 2 rest rooms for entire place, can be very noisy when tour groups around especially children, not good value for money but ok, shop is very expensive.

Friendly staff and informative free tours as well as a personal audio tour player. Check with the website about closing times, I found during my visit that the time listed was actually the last entry time.

A really interesting place to visit and somewhere I took my whole family. My daughter had a great time here too as there was a special arts room for children which she loved. Very informative and easy to approach staff.

It's most of the happening place. While you walk from the station towards Roman Bath you will find lots of artists performing and you get to see lots of creativity. The Roman Bath is amazing and with the audio tapes you get insight on the history of the place. Worth to try Sully Lunns Buns and some Burretoes.

Went at night time and it was beautifully lit by torches. Little bar was open and we had a glass of prosecco they also had a rose or champagne. Really interesting tour, you get a little hand held device to listen to audio about the history. Lot bigger than I expected and a great gift shop at the end! Bought some flavoured gin, bath ovals biscuits, soap etc they also had jewellery and typical gift shop stuff magnets etc.

Amazing history and displays creatively exhibited! We visited here in the summer of 2017. For a rainy day in July, it wasn't too busy and a short line to get in. Some parts are outdoors but most is inside so this was a great refuge from the rain. We spent about 3 hours here and learned a lot so it well worth the money.
