Place not to be missed, underground awaits you a huge surprise as the museum is much bigger and much more interesting than what it appears to be, it's like going back in time to Roman empire, some elements better preserved than in Rome itself!

Spectacular place to visit. I was not expecting that much to see while there. The stories are fantastic and the live guide had such an energy and passion about the place (she is an senior local and used to visit there with her father when she was a little girl, so she truly loves the place). Definitely a must visit place!!!

An absolute must for visits to Bath! Very organised during the post lockdown visits. It was actually quite nice having to wait for other people to move forwards as you got to take in the sights and all the information! The handsets were really informative as well... lots of history and there were children's options as well

You can't get out of the shop without purchasing a little box of handcrafted hand cream best thing I've ever tried! My favourite smell is orange & honey, but they also have some amazing ones with roses hip, lavender and other flowers! Enjoy shopping :)

A very impressive day out, with effective use of audioguides provided in multiple languages with a good level of depth and detail. It's advisable to pre-book as at times the queue for tickets can be in excess of an hour long.

An interesting tour with a good audio guide and very friendly staff. I found it difficult though to really see how the complex would have looked originally. It's been changed so much a few times over that it's difficult to see. I think this tour would be incredibly enhanced by some 3D or VR animation.

Although one of the UK's smaller cities, Bath more than makes up for its diminutive size with a multitude of things to see and do. Named after its famous Roman Baths, this beautiful city has been luring visitors to its healing waters for more than 2,000 years. Gushing from three hot springs, the water-known to consist of 43 different minerals, hence its curative properties-travels upwards some 3,048 meters at a rate of 275,000 gallons per day, before spilling out at a consistent 46.5 degrees Celsius.

While it's not possible to bathe in the original Roman Baths, a number of nearby spas-most notably the superb Thermae Bath Spa-offer guests the chance to enjoy the city's famous waters.

The star attraction of the city. Booking in advanced is recommended to avoid a wait. The tour contains display elements and is quite lengthy, it's a conveyor belt of walking with limited chances to sit.

A great tourist spot to learn about some of the great history of the UK. In-depth background into everything using an audio device which they provide.

Plenty of photo opportunities here too.

The guided tour around the baths was very detailed and easy to use.
A stronger presence should be made for people not to drink the water except in the tester area.
I look forward to returning when the new areas are opened up to the public.

Can get a little bit crowded at peak hours, and queue may be a bit long, but the whole experience is worth it. You get an audio guide with the price of the ticket and there is loads to see. There are a few interactive actors in costume to add to the scene.

Great place to visit. It s well-restored. The museum is interesting and with ticket you automatically get an audio guide. For University of Bath students tickets are for free, you just need to show student ID. Good choice for a Sunday afternoon.

Fascinating place to visit. This was our second visit to Roman baths. (We've seen it properly, with all spaces open few years ago, without social distancing) So much history. Very good audio guide, lots of information and extra comments.

*the* place to see in the Bath, to learn the history and how it first earned its name. The audioguide is expansive and the interior museum exhibits are laid out to have you take a long slow stroll through the pieces.

But come on, why is it pricier than the Louvre??

Probably the best regional museum/relic that is so well preserved, so informatively presented and taking guest to a prehistorical tour. I have been there for 3 times at least and never regret

Visiting the Roman baths in the city of Bath is a very good experience. They are very well conserved, every one has an audioguide and there are free tours every hour inside the place, with very friendly and amusing tour guides. If you visit Bath, you need to go there.

The best part we enjoyed was the 2 hours free walking tour. The tour started in front of the Roman Bath and was super informative. The tour explained the Bath Abbey, the Bath house, and the social aspects.

What an incredible opportunity to travel through time to another point in history this experience was. The professionals who put together this experience and run it on a day to day basis have built something that is completely engaging and mesmerizing. We took a day out from our week long trip to London to visit the Roman Baths, and it was a perfect investment of time. It took us (middle aged dad and teenage son) about 2.5 hours to move through because we were completely engaged (especially the son) and you could not help but linger at exhibit after exhibit. The journey through (and here you are literally walking through a portal in time), coupled with the superb audio narrations and exhibits created this very unique experience in an era of digital and virtual reality. I found it all to be uniquely engaging and even a week later it is still rattling around in my son's brain and part of our dinnertime discussions.

My first visit to the Baths. I definitely enjoyed myself and learnt a lot. I certainly didn't leave enough time for the visit you need a lot more time than you expect. Unfortunately it is very popular and there were just so many tourists to deal with.
