As far as the baths go very interesting BUT its not covid secure people make you wait in tiny rooms with lots of people no point in a booking system at all.
This is the first place since covid I have felt uneasy about the operation of a attraction and it needs to be looked at we ended up leaving early because of how poor it was.

Fantastic tourist attraction. Very polite and friendly staff. Take audio information unit on your tour and take your time walking around listening to the fascinating history of this Roman marvel.
Can take up to 2 hours to do the full tour at a leisurely pace. Must pre-book tickets in advance due to COVID-19, however this is easy and straightforward from the romanbaths website.

My husband and I both visited The Roman Baths Museum together. It was definitely worth going to see. However, I felt the price was a little to expensive and I believe there should of been a tour guide present, given how much we paid. I believe having the individual hand held speakers set up in different languages was extremely good as it enabled everyone gain an insight into the history of The Roman Baths without feeling excluded. Although it also excluded you from interacting with one another properly during the visit.

A lovely place shame about the people my experience was ruined by people walking into me while listening to there audio guides and failing to notice there surrounding, also sadly there where people talking about shopping and general information that had nothing to do with the baths. And blocking people to view artifacts. Not worth the very expensive admission charge

Far more to see than the one open Bath made famous by travel sites.
You'll journey through ancient room after ancient room.
This is not to be missed.
Totally worth the money.
Astonishing bit of history.

Alot more than just an ancient pool to look at and walk around. Very informative and fascinating the methods they used to heat everything from pools to the floors. Very much a full scale museum and warrants taking the time to examine and appreciate.

DONT PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE WATER! I did and got told off trust me it's warm and dirty. I thought the entry price was a bit steep but once inside there is plenty to see and learn. It got very busy inside and I did feel a little claustrophobic. Once at the end of the tour you can drink the spring water from a fountain. It's warm and tastes funny. A must visit when in bath!!!! Just don't put your hand in the water. Apparently there are signs but I was too focussed on wanting to put my hand in the water to notice.

What an experience! Soaking in the waters that come from 2km down in the earth. You wouldn't normally consider bathing on a roof top however this was worth bring chilly for a couple of seconds. Once the you went downstairs to the Wellness Area and had a sauna, Vichy shower, relax on tiled benches amazing. Then in your towelling robe you go have dinner!! A great concept and worth the money.

Been here twice and I do love it. Amazing piece of history, although when we were there on a bank holiday weekend it was packed with people. Maybe better to arrive early in the day when it just opens. Also don't try and use sat nav to get there, it is in the middle of town surrounded by malls and pedestrian walkways. Park outside the ciy circle or down near the river and walk up.

Such an amazing place!

Such an amazing place!
The price is not high, included in the price you get also the audio guide.
I spent almost two hours there and probably will come back soon

You can't go to Bath and not visit the Roman Baths! Wonderful thought provoking experience into a glimpse of life many millennia ago. Don't get distracted by the queues outside as these will more often be for the group excursions; singles, couples and families can walk straight in. There is ample information at every step of the way, with guided tours on the hour and a handy electronic audio guide available in different languages supplied as you walk in to the main complex. Prices are reasonable, plenty of facilities and staff are friendly.

Nice.

With the entrance ticket, you are given an audio guide that accompanies you through the whole tour and, as well as telling you information about the rooms and objects you come across, it also gives a little bit of history.
Much of what you visit at the Baths is Roman. The main pool is as it was in its origins, with its 45 lead sheets that make its metre and a half depth waterproof even today.
In addition, Bath's present-day museum includes a fascinating collection of Roman artefacts which they themselves threw into the sacred water in homage to the deity. Naturally, the fountains were filled with Roman coins and jewellery, over 12,000 of which are now carefully preserved and on display to visitors.

Have been here before and it NEVER disappoints, the adjustments they made for Covid were as well done as anyone could do. Post ridiculous second lockdown don't let Covid stop you from visiting it's fabulous!

A must see if visiting Bath. Great history, all visitors are equipped with an audio guide, you put in the numbers that are on the exhibit and put the piece near your head like a phone, or put headphones in it, and it tells you about what you are looking at. All of us visitors looked like we were on phones and silently walking around it did look funny but it was really informative and there was extra audios that had been recorded which added to the experience. We were able to drink a small paper cup of the hot spring water at the end.
