It's a perfect historical site + museum. Really a must visit when you're in bath. If you're traveling here from london, I suggest to buy a coach+entrance ticket at once, some travel website would sell it in one package so you could save some money!

A really neat experience. Fascinating to see the playground of the "rich and famous" of centuries ago.
The town of Bath is nice with shops and places to eat.
We highly recommend The English Bus small tour company for your tour from London. Capacity of 16, we were treated like family by Johny, our driver and tour guide.

Certainly worth it to check this museum out. The information given is very interesting and it's nice to see how Bath was during the Roman times. The baths are stunning and the place is absolutely beautiful.

Wonderful use of space with as much or as little information you want to take in. As a history buff I was in heaven though a shame the sacred pool was covered in scaffolding so couldn't see much - all essential maintenance of course

We had such a lovely day in Bath, with the Roman Baths being our main attraction. The roman bath's is a must see, and their audio tour is great. You can walk to the tour at your own pace. There is plenty of interactive opportunities, and is a wonderful time for adults and children alike!

A hidden gem within the city of Bath. If the tour company hadn't led us there, we might have missed it!

A stop worth taking. Great way to help understand the long, storied history of Europe. Fabulous to see all the Roman artifacts.

I particularly enjoyed the "curses", small notes written on lead sheets, then folded and offered to the gods. Neat to see the translations!

If time permits in your schedule when visiting the UK, I would strongly recommend a visit to Bath and the Roman Baths.

A fantastic experience for all ages. The Roman ruins are brought to life by technology and even a real life Roman warrior who seems very happy to engage with you as you walk by. It is expensive to get in and quite crowded but is such a fantastic place that it is not to be missed. Essential visit if staying in or close to Bath.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great place to visit and very interesting too. There is a cafe and a restaurant, great settings but of course all come to a premium price. The experience is worth it and justify the price for it

Such a neat thing to see on our recent trip to the UK. Lots of history and our guide was very knowledgeable. You don't get to soak in the baths but you do get to taste the water at the end... which is interesting haha

Absolutely beautiful place to see. The roman architecture as well as the roman statues on the walkway above the roman bath pool makes us wonder about life pf romans. The abbey is right next to it. Dont forget to get the audio guide given at the gate, there is a lot of information on every step. Press the number that is at every step displayed and entire history is explained on each and every thing. Eye opening wonders in the information. Highly recommended. Well worth the amount paid for visiting it.

The baths were interesting and the Audio tour was full of facts. I like that I could walk at my own pace and decide how much I wanted to hear. I wish I d taken my earphones though as it would have been more comfortable than carrying the audio device.
I could see that they had catered for children too with their own tour options. Nice Touch. Flat shoes recommended.
When I visited (Thursday 13:00) I only queued inside behind maybe 6 other groups. But when I left Bath (Saturday 12:00) the queue was out the door and around the sides with hundreds of people! I recommend maybe not a weekend to visit this attraction.

Very photogenic venue for weddings and other events! The building is magical especially early morning and at sunset. It provides shelter in bad weather and makes for an attractive backdrop of Bath stone for group or individual photos.

The Roman Baths are a must visit ! Spectacular..so much to see and take advantage of the audio guide, even though there are helpful knowedgeable staff on hand for any questions you may have. Early evening as they light the torches adds even more atmosmere to this place.

I haven't visited for a long time, so this visit was a vast improvement on my last, about 20 years ago ,there is much more to see now, with the extensive tour, explaining the history, before you reach the main bath. Those Romans were very skilled builders, amazing to think that these baths have survived until this day.
Excellent covid rules, which everyone complied with
Great value for money.

I really enjoyed my visit to Roman Baths. There are plenty of things to see inside. Allow at least 3-4 hours to get the maximum out of your tour. Make sure you get the free audio device they provide. That will give you lots of information as you walk. It is very easy to walk inside as the path is clearly displayed using arrows / sign posts. Thanks for keeping this attraction neat and tidy.

Baths were great to do on a cloudy day, and light rain, inside for part going through the different areas and then outside walking around the main bath. This was my second time going and while one area was blocked off, most things were easy to see and read the signs. They even have the audible guides that they clean and sanitize between use, nice added touch as most places aren't offering.

Beautifully restored Roman baths with very good free audio guide included with the ticket. The commentary was informative without going on for too long and their were additional bits you could listen to by Bill Bryson the author which were interesting. It took us a good hour and a half to get around. We arrived early and missed having to queue to get in. The reasons for 4 stars is that some rooms became very congested and therefore difficult to see the exhibits. They could do to have a better system to avoid these bottlenecks but that is a minor quibble. There is plenty to see for anyone interested in the Roman way of life and a great slice of history. If you can avoid going in at the same time as a school group I would.

I have not really good experienced. The place is lovely (5starts) but they try to keep 2meter distance all the time. That means that you need to wait, wait and wait. You can t overtake the people even if you don t want to watch something. It is like if in the supermarket there are limited capacity (good) but you need to wait until the guy in front you take the potatoes, so you can go to potatoes area(even if you don t want to buy them). So all the visit is like long queue, that means the people is more time in closed area.
I will recommend limited capacity of people (like is now) , but change 2meter social distance for wear mask.

I felt like I was in Italy. You can feel a strong sense of history and going back in time when you see the palatial Romanesque buildings. The Abbey, the 2000 year old Roman baths which are preserved to its ancient origins. Very clean and well kept town and roads. So much to see. Definitely recommend.
