Went there for a drink. Only complaint is that the chair I sat on was not comfy at all. I know, I know, kind of a stupid reason for 1 less star... But still, this is my review! I don't need your judgement!

I loved The Rocks Cafe! The food, service, atmosphere was perfect.
My wife and I visited on Saturday night and had crocodile burgers and some cocktails. We were greeted and served by Linea and her recommendations were perfect. I highly recommend The Rocks Cafe. 5 Stars! Ignore any review less than 5 stars! Those people live miserable lives! lol

We were in Sydney for 7 days and this was our favorite restaurant of the trip. We had breakfast and dinner, on two separate days. Smashed avacado toast was very tasty. The strawberry cheesecake was spectacular. Yes, we had dessert after breakfast. The leek and potato soup was wonderful and the chicken pie was, according to my husband, the best meal my I ve ever had . The carrot cake was just okay. The service is a little slow, by American standards, but if you can embrace the slower, relaxed pace, you ll love it. Dine outside, if they have seating open, it gets a little stuffy inside (we were a group of six and seated just inside the door, so little to no air movement).

Food was good, portions not too large pet expensive for location. Reasonable menu selection for lunch, and other menus for breakfast and dinner looked substantial too. Service was a little brusque and distracted, but efficient.

The outdoor seating was perfect for the time of year and even though we were having a late dinner, 830PM, the servers were extremely prompt and very friendly. The food was fresh and came out quickly.

I came to this restaurant for the first time yesterday with my bosses and didn't expect the food and the drinks to be phenomenal. The grilled kangaroo was spot on, the staffs are extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

Stopped here for Brunch whilst in the Rocks. Great little place with more seating than you'd imagine. Outdoor, indoor booth style and upstairs. A tiny place that manages to fit in a lot! Just be mindful the staircase is super narrow and steep. Like my stairs in an old apartment in the city of Dordrecht, Netherlands, where I lived. There are two, small restrooms upstairs, so if you have difficulty managing stairs or cramped spaces, be aware. Prices were really reasonable and though the serving of scrambled egg was small for my partner, it was enough to satisfy. My pancakes were more than I could eat, super light and fluffy. Alcohol, full meals, a good menu, gorgeous ambience, make the Rocks Cafe a definite must.

My partner and I had a really good experience here. The lady at the door to welcome us was super friendly and we made our way upstairs to a wonderful bloke with a very lovely manner. Left us to order and came back within a few minutes. I ordered the pancakes which were amazing but so big and filling, I had to let my partner try finish them. He had eggs Benedict and said they were very nice. I had a chai latte and him a normal latte, both were very nice and for me a chai latte that's not like warm is great!

Great cafe to people watch and located conveniently at The Rocks. Good place to unwind after a weekend walk at The Rocks Market and Circular Quay. They also provide free Wifi which is a plus for travelers.

We arrived a bit too late or it would have been really fantastic to sit out front or out back. Service was pretty solid. The fish and chips was just average but the kangaroo sirloin was cooked really well. A very pleasant evening.

I did a lot of research to find the best kangaroo Burger in Sydney, Australia. After reading many articles I came to the conclusion that this place is probably my best option and I wasn't wrong. I think the burger and the fries were only $25. Yes it was my first and only kangaroo Burger ever, but it was simply Delicious. If I ever go back to Sydney again I will for sure have another burger here.

We popped in for a bite during Vivid and it was so good to get out of the craziness and sit down somewhere cosy and quiet, away from the madding crowd ....

The service was so good ? that we had four people attending to us and then our order got lost in the system and had to be taken again.

Finally our food arrived, freshly cooked chicken burger and plate of soup off the specials board. Both were very good indeed!! My soup was actually amazing!!! Jerusalem Artichoke soup served with bits of toast. The flavour in that soup was to die for!!! The burger so fresh and clean tasting!

We will be back next time we re in the area! I m gonna try a coffee as it smelt fantastic!!

Pancakes are fluffy and delicious!
Maple syrup is full and I am very satisfied.
The latte art was also good, and the taste was good with a good smell of beans.
Above all, the clerk's customer service was refreshing with a smile, and the empty plate was immediately lowered, and I had a good feeling.

We had the pear and rocket salad, the prawn appetizer, the kangaroo burger, and the lemon meringue pie. As others have mentioned, the kangaroo burger was amazing as well as the lemon meringue pie. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Walked in this morning, nobody was inside but we were immediately surrounded by about a dozen staff who just flicked to us, when we were ordering food, one impatient cashier tried to control what we want, and tried to make us sit at the back when we were just in a hurry and wanted to get a quick meal, my mum eventually had enough and said that place was too confusing and the cashier immediately shouted no it s not . The service is awful, it s filled with impatient staff who try to control what you buy, I will never come back.
