The owner here is a great and personable guy, and the building is a really neat piece of history.

Great views very nice town with little shops and great restaurants. Most places are pet friendly also. We found this by accident when I took a wrong turn. Definitely going back in November with friends to enjoy the winter.

Rockledge was so full of character; I am so glad that I chose to have my wedding reception there. One thing I will recommend for future brides is to make sure that you turn on the A/C in the ballroom earlier in the afternoon. My wedding was in August, and it was very hot!! Luckily, Lance, the owner, came in with fans and my guests were having too much fun to even notice! It is an unbelievable venue that fits about 105-107 comfortably in rounds & about 115-120 with cafeteria style. The heart pine wood floors throughout the house come from trees that predate Christopher Columbus' discovery of America! If you like history & want some character in your reception, Rockledge Mansion is so great! Almost forgot: It's incredibly inexpensive and we got it for the whole day, which most wedding reception venues don't allow you to come to setup until 3pm!! YIKES!

Interesting if somewhat claustrophobically built house. Not great for loud music in the main room due to sound reflecting surfaces. I had to leave once the music started to protect my hearing.

Under new ownership and the new owner, she is extremely rude. I had met with the previous owner lance last year and was quoted $700 for a Sunday rental she is now charging $1,500 at minimum mind you it is not worth it the property requires a lot of attention and renovations to be considered a luxury venue don t get me wrong it has its charm but now for that price. Such a shame. The pricing isn t really the issue neither it is her attuned of idgaf that really is what s upsetting.

Historical place.. however, it needs a thorough cleaning. And up keep. It is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The chairs were falling apart, and the parking was not plenty. It's just dirty... Needs housekeeping love.

Beautiful location nessled at the end of the street. The town was super cute. We had a lunch gathering just down from here, but just a neat place to explore.

Presumably a historical site as the building is a little worn down. The place has a nostalgic feel to it and can accommodate crowds of upto 50-75 people. Parking is a little tight but overall a nice experience.

Live the idea and location but the residence needs alot of repair work inside.

Beautiful place to host different kind of events such as birthday parties, wedding receptions, baby shower, graduation parties etc. Very peaceful environment you should visit and see for yourself.

A nice historic mansion in historic Occoquan. It is available for rent. The owner is nice and engaging.

Always fun to visit and check out the ghostly activity. With 13 magical moons now residing there, the experience is complete!

The history of this place alone leaves one in awe. We were taking a stroll down Mill St & came across this beautiful landmark.

I had my wedding reception here. It was truly amazing. The entire place was very beautiful without doing a thing. The authorized caterer did a fabulous job. It surpassed our expectations in every category. Our friends and family just kept talking about how wonderful everything was.

Took a tour with the owner. Fabulous house with an interesting history!

Great layout for a party that flows. There are spaces great for dancing, for the DJ, for mingling or eating.

Great Place. Beautiful view over Qccoquan and a wonderful and super romantic location. Great for any kind of celebration!

Seemed beautiful but the home was not ready at the designated time. Event was in December and it was freezing in the entire place. The faucet water in the bathroom was cold. The owner suggested telling one of my guest who he assumed was over a certain weight to sit in a different chair. But the kicker was that he showed the space during my rental time while we were getting ready and set up. Disrespectful.
