I just visited the spa and Gabriella and Sarah could not have taken better care of me. Right when I arrived Gabriella got me a refreshment and made me feel at home. Sarah gave an incredible massage and responded to my every issue area we discussed before. So good I gave a 40% tip. I ll be back soon.
Stayed here for a weekend and it was top notch. Absolutely wonderful service from the staff. They take no short cuts and cut no corners.
The Ritz Carlton experience you expect. Clean, comfortable rooms, soft bed, and prompt, courteous service. Love the Asprey toiletries.
The High Tech Prayer Breakfast is grateful for the wonderful ballroom and service
MANY MANY THANKS to Gabriela, the Spa Supervisor :), Tod Morrow the General Manager and the rest of the hard-working dedicated staff.
On this Thanksgiving weekend out of appreciation and gratitude, I would like to take a moment to put in a good word for Gabriela Nistor and the PLEASANT spa staff for going above and beyond! I'm very appreciative of your help. I wish everyone happy and safe holidays! I look forward to spending more time at the Ritz whenever I am in DC. I miss taking my senior bookish kitty Coco to the Ritz when I used to live at Nouvelle and the Ovation at Park Crest. I'm planning to write a children's book titled Coco at the Ritz (kind of like Eloise at the Plaza :D) and reminisce my time spent at the Ritz Tysons with Coco back in 2017 and 2018. Upon publication of my children's book, I'll provide a complimentary signed copy as a THANK YOU to the wonderful staff at the Ritz Carlton, Tysons Corner.
I look forward to making more happy memories at the Ritz and enjoy the live piano music with my family in the coming months and years!
See you soon. Many thanks again! God bless!
My very best wishes to everyone at the Ritz, Tysons Corner!
Respectfully and in appreciation,
Vivienne C. & Coco, the 15 year old bookish kitty.
Tacky that they charge for parking in Tyson's corner which is not really a city.
Went for a one day social event. The premises seems very tidy.
I always stay at the Ritz when I m in the area and can count on them for the best in comfort and service. Staff is courteous and professional and will work to make your stay enjoyable
Company had their Christmas party there. The food was amazing and the live band was great. Games drinks and entertainment was all laid out well. Had a great time.
Beautiful place, but has strict noise policies for guests- don't expect to be able to play music in your room.
Very comfortable, spacious rooms overlooking the mall. Excellent spa and pool area.
Great location. Rooms are normal Ritz rooms, but a lot of great restaurants attached to the hotel via the mall.
Great service. Exactly what you would expect from this type of hotel.
Great hotel, beautiful inside and the staff is very professional and friendly
While driving to this hotel the entrance is very risky. Meaning, the way the GPS brings you to the front of the hotel you have to cross across 4 lanes of bidirectional traffic. The parking garage is confusing. Upon check out they charged for items not used by us. The management staff quickly refunded the wrong charges after a single e-mail.
Very friendly and helpful staff and hey, it's the Ritz.
Extremely nice! Confortable and prime service at the Club Lounge!
Staff is top notch, well trained and attentive. Hotel has a great location near DC and local shopping with week end rates being very reasonable.
We stayed in an Executive Suite with an overnight stay Saturday to Sunday, rate of $242 plus tax (AAA discount). Self parking was free (parking validated at front desk) and was a convenient walk to check in.
The RC app is very useful and I recommend using it for features such as quick check in.
The hotel shuttle will drop off and pick up about Tysons Corner, upon drop off the driver handed over his card and asked that we call him directly when we wanted to be picked up.
It was refreshing dealing with a hotel with such consideration for guests.
The service is awesome. All you have to do is ask and the front desk will make sure you have what you need. It's also conveniently attached to the Tyson's Galleria mall.
Will definitely stay here again.
This Ritz is beautiful and stately as most would expect from a Ritz Carlton in Virginia. It is perfectly located with a back entrance to the mall, easy access to a variety of dining options, and close to one of my favorite restaurants, Founding Farmers Tysons. It is also easy to get into the city from this hotel with a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station.
The room was clean and the service was impeccable. The hotel itself has a polished look. Noon checkout and free weekend parking is most appreciated. The food from their catered event we attended was good but not the best. It was however served promptly with care and concern for allergies.
I just got here and have been floored with the staff. Our shuttle driver was so friendly and prompt (taking me to and from the mall ). Then I get to my room grab the ice been and wander out into the hall. There was a staff member cleaning rooms and she saw me looking for the ice machine. She points down the hall and says it s this way, I will go fill it for you . After I came to my senses I didn t let her as she had her main task to take care of but her insistence to go out of her way to help me was amazing. The amenities are quite nice as well. Super comfortable rooms. I have a feeling it s going to be a good week.
Great location for a conference. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
As always, a pleasant stay with great customer service.
Very bad customer service this hotel never again. Employees in this hotel talk you like they are police.
Even if you call them they don't listen to you the whole conversation eager to get off from the phone. When I came to this hotel employees all busy texting then I figured out why they eager to get off from the phone from the .Void this hotel by cross of street from this hotel there is another upscale hotel with excellent experience but never Ritz Carlton Tyson Again.....
Service was great, room was clean, staff were helpful. Metro just down the block but the hotel will shuttle you there if needed. Hotel also has walking access to the mall. Would stay there again.
Enjoyed a local getaway at the Ritz Tysons Corner! Awesome property in a prime location. Courteous and professional staff throughout! A key perk was after hours access to the Galleria and connecting restaurants. When you need to get away, keep them in mind.
Dessert was delicious. Service on point. Would go back again.
Service was great and space was clean, we had quite a large event, so space was limited, but organized well to keep everyone comfortable.
Room size was a little smaller than expected. Overall pretty nice place to stay.
I was here for a conference. They are an excellent host. Well organized. Breakfast, lunch, and cocktail hour were catered. Staff is very professional. Spacious rooms. I would highly recommend. It is conveniently close to DC without having to deal with the DC craziness. Metro has a stop not far from the hotel, so people in DC can take Metro.
IAMS was the greatest event I have I have ever been In Ritz Carlton .
Incredibly comfy rooms, unnervingly efficient staff, super friendly bellhops. Far from the cheapest place in town, but when you get you what you pay for here, it is worth the price.
First class all the way. From the staff, the food and the facilities. Only downside is you have to pay for parking
The staff here are amazing when it comes to customer service. My family booked a few people here and all of us were quiet happy with the service we got. The location is central for shopping and dining. Loved the on-site dining options.
You have to always love the Ritz
Everyone from the valet to the restaurant manager to the bartender and waitstaff are well trained to ensure you want for nothing.
The octopus was good, but not amazing. So 4 stars.
The Ritz-Carlton at Tysons Corner provides an elegant retreat for a spa, great food, and shopping. It is also convenient for business meetings and conferences for diverse DC businesses. The rooms are kept up to date, clean, and are very comfortable. In room dining is very reasonable and weekend rates are a great bargain. In all, the Ritz is highly recommended.
Allowed for a very relaxing stay while on work travel. Friendly staff and conveniently located in Tysons. Service was excellent
Ridiculous prices for deodorant. Very nicely decorated tho
Solid, expensive, but fairly elegant Ritz. Popular with middle eastern visitors.
Hotel is nice, but the TV was broken and the iron was dirty.
One of the top hotel experiences I ve had this location completely understands the importance of hospitality and customer service.
Great weekend get-a-way. Great packages, check them out.
Friendly staff great place. They celebrated with me
I made a special trip with my whole family to Entyse for brunch just to find out they only do it on Sunday. They don't even give out the breakfast menu after 11. I was very disappointed. The food was very slow. It seemed like there weren't enough people in the kitchen that day. Maybe someone was out sick? The good notes though: my server was so kind and efficient. She was so nice. All the food was hot, beautiful, and delicious. I highly recommend the cold pressed juices too! If you can make it to brunch on Sunday, definitely do it. It's a great value. I hope they'll do it on Saturday soon.
I'm back for another stayhere in August 2012. I had a small issue with noise coming from an adjacent room. Kevin quickly addressed the issue and helped me again realize why I chose to stay here. Cheers!
Sarah Benali provided me with an exceptional level of customer service during my stay in October. Sarah handled two issues with precision and a personal touch that will have me returning in December. The flight from Portland, Oregon is not a 30 minute commute. Having a place, away from home, to go where I feel comfotable is important. Thank you Sarah and the rest of the staff that you work with!
Really nice place for a networking event. Nice facility.
I've been staying at Ritz-Carlton more over the years since the Marriott SPG merger, and my experiences at each of them have always been fairly solid. The rate for this Ritz was very affordable and it wasn't far away from where I needed to go to in D.C. (not downtown) so I decided to give it a shot.
Located right next to the humongous Tyson's corner mall complex (with a connecting bridge directly to the mall, it's close to plenty of shopping and dining. However, parking at the hotel costs $12 a night, so be prepared for that (not sure why that's the case when mall parking is free). The lobby is on the 4th floor, and though it's not open, it has the luxurious Ritz feel with dark woods, comfortable seating, and great service. The front desk staff was able to get me a decent upgrade on request (though they were still holding back after checking available rooms).
I had a room on the 16th floor, view was decent. One big issue with the property is you can hear quite a bit of noise from the hallway - I heard the housekeeping staff come by before they even knocked on my door. However, the rooms themselves are comfortable, well-appointed, and seems to have been recently updated. The shower is also decently sized (not the largest, but well appointed and not dirty). TV is decent sized as well, and theres plenty of plugs where you need it (Desk and the bed)
Didn't check out any of the other amenities that were on offer, but did look in the gym and it looked nice and well-appointed. The restaurant / bar didn't look too shabby either.
My 100% go to when spending a day at the spa! The staff are always more than accommodating be it changing an appointment or getting rid of extremely rude customers who sit in the relaxation room talking on their phones. Love this place!
Hotel and room was beautiful. Only issue that occurred was ceiling started leaking from the bathroom but they fixed it right away. Collin was amazing and helped alot. Definitely enjoyed my stay.
Conference center is well kept and spacious. Food and service was great too.
Everyone is one point. The facility is clean and comfortable.
My husband treated me to a getaway for the weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday. The room was fantastic, the service was wonderful. Even though our check in was delayed and the hotel iron had a red mark at the bottom and left a red mark on my husband's shirt, the hotel made every effort to make things right.
My reason for leaving the 1 star review is because I accidentally left behind my Chanel purse and it was not found. I had put my purse in the console in the master bedroom after using it the evening before, we checked out of the room, a day later when I unpacked my bag (we live local not much was packed) I realized my purse was not packed. I called the hotel immediately. The manager said she went to the room to look and it was not there. I was told that after we checked out NO ONE ELSE occupied our room which leads me to believe that whoever cleaned the room after our departure took it.
How sad! My brand new Chanel purse is gone. The incident was investigated and of course no one is going to confess to having taken it. I have a picture of my purse in the room, if security cameras are checked I am sure they can see that I had it with me.
Someone called from the corporate office and told me that they have no confusion or proof of the purse being missing and that they would not assume liability.
WOW! Thanks RITZ Carlton...Never expected this type of treatment from a Marriott let alone a Ritz.
A
I was also told by the security and safety department that many people leave items behind and that I would be shocked at the list of items there, I was told my $5,000 purse was the least expensive of items there... WOW thanks again!
Definitely not the same as staying at the Ritz on Central Park but the hotel staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the restaurants are good. It's connected to the mall which provides indoor access to a variety of good chain restaurants (Legal Seafood, PF Changs, etc.) as well as some very high-end shopping.
Stain on the wall and curtain but its so nice to feel fancy that I refuse to look for more flaws. Ignorance is bliss
Luxury hotel with a nice bar and connection to Tyson's Corner II shopping mall
Perhaps I need to manage expectations because I have been spoiled by other Ritz Carltons exceptional service. However this location seemed just a little dark, little out dated and a little tired.
Please note: we did not stay in the hotel, merely toured as potential venue for an event.
This particular location is special to me since I grew up in the area, and my fiance and I took a tour to consider it as a wedding venue. The wedding consultant gave us a tour then immediately proposed we start picking out our place settings for the wedding. We politely declined.
The highlight of the venue seemed to be the mall itself, and an elaborate staircase where we could take pictures on. I love history but if a staircase is your selling point for your venue then...
Then we move to another venue.
The reception is helpfull . The rooms r nice . Love the hotel
