5 ritz crackers are 80 calories. There are about 35 ritz in one sleave of ritz. (35/5)*80 = 560. I just ate a whole sleave of ritz. Now I know this is a hotel but it has the word ritz in the name. #Staywoke

Bad service from checking in to spa; embarrassment for all Ritz hotels. Asked for feather free room, was assured will have it and came to room full of feathers on the mattress. Ask for a hair brush as i forgot mine, they said they dont have them but i saw disposable ones at their spa. Spa had dirty lockers...seems like less than a 3 star hotel overall

This hotel is stunning inside and out. I typically don't stay in the city but after the occasional "Girls Night Out" I'll book a suite to finish the night off right. On my last stay however it started out not so 5 star. I was disappointed with the staff, especially the valet attendants who were in a full verbal altercation when I pulled up. Overall, a beautiful hotel. I will be back for my next rendez-vous in the city.

I just stayed at the Ritz with my boyfriend over the weekend of the Philadelphia marathon and the experience could not have been better! The location is within walking distance to anything you could want. The staff was FANTASTIC - they helped me to surprise him a day early and then went out of there way to make sure he had everything he needed for the marathon. The beds were amazingly comfortable, the rooms were large and cozy, and those curtains were so dark that we could sleep in after the marathon! I can't wait to return to Philly to stay here!

The maintenance staffs were very nice but the staffs at the front desk were not. I asked if I can use my Marriott points at the spa and she responded "you can call spa" which is very unusual... most staffs (based on my experience) would call spa and give me the info. I did not receive any welcoming vibe nor the comments being a gold member (lower level branches of Marriott has been saying that for 5 years). The tub in the hotel was very small and the room service was not impressive. The worst was the spa. Given the brand name, their spa was unimpressive and even pathetic. Gender separate rooms and there are dirty looking stream room, a small Finnish sauna, and relaxing room with ice water and some snacks. No hot tea no coffee.

Room was very nice and the bar staff, maintenance staffs, and spa staffs were helpful. Am I coming back? Probably. Am I coming back to the spa? definitely not.

You would think that the Ritz would know customer service. Room check in at 4, but room not ready for at least another 30 mins. Actually a line of people checking in with a single person. We seem to be bothering them asking when the room will be ready. You would think they would treat their customers better. The last time for me.

Wow. We don't check in for another 24 hours and we are already thrilled with the service. My wife and and I have been looking forward to visiting this beautiful property once again. Ellen Metro and James Porter specifically have gone above and beyond to facilitate our plans. Looking forward to having a beverage at your beautiful bar Friday afternoon before the concert. That is when the long weekend begins.

Just being a guest was a pleasure. All staff were friendly and kind. I loved the view from the room it was gorgeous. And everything was immaculate I really enjoy it when I go to a hotel and the sheets and bathroom are clean and that is never a worry at the Ritz. Definitely worth the five stars will recommend to all my friends and colleagues.

Not what I expected for a 5-star hotel. The worst ...

Not what I expected for a 5-star hotel. The worst thing was the dangerously slippery tile on the shower floor. Seriously - 4" highly polished marble tile is NOT a good idea for a shower floor. The shower in my room was designed such that I had to stand inside while turning on the water. The valve wasn't the kind where you could easily set the temperature, and when icy-cold water started spraying out of the showerhead, I involuntarily jumped backwards and almost fell. The hotel didn't provide any grab bars or anything to hold onto in the event of slipping in the shower. I had to be very careful each time I took a shower for fear of serious injury. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Otherwise, the newly-renovated room was nice enough, but there wasn't a comfy chair to sit in. The desk chair was just OK, and the beds were too high to sit on casually. The lighting left a lot to be desired - there was a very dark area in the logical place to set up my suitcase on the wobbly suitcase stand. The toilet paper was atrocious - it seemed to be the cheapest type the hotel could find. It disintegrated upon contact with human skin.

When you stay at the Ritz, you expect their service to be great. That is why you are willing to pay the extra money. However this Ritz leaves EVERYTHING to be desired. Experiences a problem after having confirmed with the hotel twice, and no follow-up was done by management. The rooms are date, the sheets are torn, overall save your money and stay elsewhere. The only saving grace is the location and the old bank building. That s it.

Hotel was very beautiful and we'll kept with great staff. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and we'll stocked with items one might need. Club level was very nice. It was never too busy. It was somewhat small and didn't ever have too many choices for food. The choices provided we're very good though. However, it took some waiting for the select the few elavators that could get you to that level. Elevators were slow in general. I would go back for a weekend retreat. Hotel wasn't too far from Redding Market. There were also many shops and restaurants near by. I won't comment on pricing since people who stay here know what they're getting into. My stay was gifted to me as a birthday gift.

This isn't a Ritz Carlton. The name might say so, but the room and service beg to differ.

Way too much hair from the previous guest in the bathroom. Provided two shampoos, no soap or conditioner. No minibar. You get a separate shower and tub but it's the cheapest builder's grade tub available and the shower doesn't have a light in it.

On check-in I waited 3 minutes before anyone even showed up at the desk - there was a big list of all the guests and their room numbers sitting out. Not great for privacy. I arrived at night and there was no door or bell staff. There was what appeared to be a security guard watching a video and wearing ear buds in the lobby. He didn't bother to look up when I arrived.

There are some much better hotels, don't get "Bonvoyed" at this very, very average Marriott.

Pete was the best staff-person we dealt with.

Pete was the best staff-person we dealt with.
The remainder of the staff were unobtrusive. The hotel doesn't seem well-organized because we were interrupted by staff twice on our checkout day after we'd already confirmed a late checkout, and housekeeping did not replenish all of our amenities.

This pat weekend my husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and I was very surprised with the experience. The room was not completely cleaned and there was mold in the bathroom and a leak from the ceiling. The bed was very uncomfortable as well as the pillows. My husband and very bad asthma and I am allergic to mold therefore we coughed most of the night. I would recommend staying if here if you are trying to impress someone. The service on the other hand from the staff was very pleasant.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. Was told it used to be a bank back in the day. Very fancy, nice beds and pillows. Nice roomy bathrooms as well. I see why people like the place now!
