Very good customer service, pay attention to details and good attitude leaves people comfortable and easy.

Bed is really nice, the Only problem is the pillow is too soft to support a good night sleep.

Great hotel , great service.

Average, Reasonable motel , comparable to a motel 6. It was clean and comfortable. Had a microwave and refrigerator in the room.
Don't remember the tv.
We were on second floor and didn't hear noise.
There are more expensive jacuzzi rooms available.
Breakfast is basic grain based carbs.
There's a restaurant on site. I think it's open limited hours.
A few restaurants, 7-11 and other stores within one block.
$10 uber or lyft to universal studios flagpole turnaround dropoff, near Frankenstein parking.

A beautiful place for sure. The decor exudes pure class. The staff was attentive and friendly. The location is central to and convenient to most things in downtown.
Our meal at the restaurant was good too.

Had a wine tasting at the JCB room, and it was fabulous. Leopard print carpet, purple velvet walls, plush chairs and sofas seated around mirror-top tables, and electronic picture frames cycling through a mix of Dali paintings to round out the ambiance. It's a small room, but doesn't feel stuffy even with so many artifacts vying for attention. The sommelier was top notch - friendly and conversational without being intrusive - and was infinitely knowledgeable about the wines. As if all that wasn't enough, Waves by Joey Bada$$ was our final tasting song. I can't speak for the cost, but everything else was superb.

This is no longer a 5 star hotel. My room was not ready until 2 hours past check-in. When I finally did check-in the room wasn't the one booked, and when I called down to the front desk the hotel staff was either unwilling or incapable of dealing with it. I suspect incapable, because the staff was very pleasant and also well-versed in being apologetic, which is of course quite different than resolving the problem. What sealed it for me was that the room itself wasn't pleasant - it was too dark (the room colors are gray and black) with insufficient lighting. The windows are on the small side, so the natural light wasn't enough to alleviate the gloominess of the room. The room was quite big, but so oddly proportioned and furnished that there was a huge amount of floor space and then a lone chair and small table languishing against a wall far from the windows. And everything took forever - one of the scarce lamps was broken and it took forever to get household services. A simple coffee took forever to arrive in the morning. And so on. Everyone was very nice but it was frustrating. Part of the issue may be that the hotel is understaffed. I neither know, or at this point care, because I switched hotels. I am a bit surprised, however, because my reservation was made through a corporate travel agency and I hold a Ritz card, either of which should have caused the hotel to think about my planned visit as one stay in a a long-term relationship. I was told later that the Marriott had taken over the Ritz name, and that corners were being cut here and there. That made sense to me, as the hotel was closer to that level of experience, if not of cost.

Stayed for 3 nights, our room was fantastic, much larger and better than I expected. The rooms are amazing. We didn't go the club option and didn't eat in so can't comment on food. Service was first class except the concierge made a mistake with a question on whether we could take a backpack into the NBA basketball. For clarity you can not. Patrick the door man was exceptional and deserves praise. Would return in a heartbeat

Swanky Nob Hill hotel where the rich and famous stay! You don't have to be to stay here and you never know who might pull up at the valet! The lounge and restaurant are worth a visit if you're not staying. Top notch drinks and plates. Valet your car for just $10 with validation at the bar or restaurant and avoid the strenuous climb uphill from the nearby garages. My stay was in a single bedroom suite. Felt like I had my own small apartment in the heart of SF! A nicely appointed livingroom that included a queen size pullout bed, a huge master bedroom with a super comfy king size feather bed, a dressing room and two bathrooms (one half bath and one huge full master bath). One of my favorite things about staying at The Ritz is the staff. Housekeepers that greet you by name even when out wandering looking for ice! They really strive to make you feel at home! Yes, the rates are expensive but not really that much more than other top notch stays in downtown SF. Treat yourself to something special!

If you're in San Francisco for a conference, you can't go wrong with the Ritz. They offer free shoe shining services, which is a nice treat. The gym is well equipped and has access to the spa amenities. The conference catering was excellent, with good food and snacks.

My parents have brought me here for 20 years. I will do so with my children as well. This place is a second home to me. Always stay at the concierge level. Cleanliness is an obvious priority for the staff. Beds are extremely comfortable. I love it

First impression is always great! Front door staff was at the ready with smiling faces and open doors. We arrived way earlier than check in time but we were told our room was ready as they handed us the plate of hot towels that were awesome! The room was fantastic and had everything we could have possibly needed during our stay including the umbrella hanging in the closet. Bathroom was nicely stocked with amenities that you would have to request at other hotels. There was also a great Nespresso machine in the room! We were on the club level and the staff there was super helpful (Alex)!
There is an extremely nice lounge area with great food and well stocked drinks that are available throughout the day. No need to find breakfast anywhere in the city with the great spread they provided! All in all we were extremely happy with our stay and would love to come back here! It will be very hard staying anywhere other than a Ritz Carlton!!

As always the Ritz does not disappoint. We had a problem with a drain in our room but before we had noticed they had reached out to us and made things right. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and would do everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Thank you to all of the club lounge staff!

This is a beautiful hotel and it is staffed with people who want to make sure that you are well taken care of at every step of the way. My wife and I stayed here for our Anniversary and because of the Front Desk, Concierge and House Keeping it was a trip that was perfect! Thank You - Ritz Carlton!

What can be said about The Ritz-Carlton that isn't blatantly obvious? This hotel is a benchmark and always a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. One of my best friends from high school recently held her wedding and reception at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco and it was as expected, creating an atmosphere of sheer class and elegance. There is no security hounding guests' visitors about their presence at the hotel (there is security, they are just discrete about their operations, the way it should be). The staff respects the privacy of the guests and that's important when one is staying away from home.

What an amazing stay we had. We flew in for a short stay 3 days. We arrived using the hotel transportation which was seamless. Upon arrival, immediately we were greeted with doormen opening doors dressed in top hats/suits greeting you pleasantly asking to take your bags etc. and then escorted through the doors on both sides opened by them and the breeze ushering you breathing you in this lovely display of fresh flowers on a table. Beautiful room that was clean and decor was modern and kept up. Very comfy bed!
No wait to check in and offered an upgrade to a junior suite. We arrived at 9am and given our room early and "no problem" for a 4pm check out the day we left (midnight flight). The staff was amazing, always a house car available whisking you off to wherever you desire. One night we were craving ice cream and the staff suggested Ghiradelli's ice cream shop and provided us with immediate transportation (my son and I) and the driver (so pleasant) waited while we got our ice cream and took us back.
The cleaning staff also amazing and turn down service..such small details like setting a screen cleaning cloth on my computer, wrapping the charging cords with velcro ties, setting dirty clothes on top of a sinch plastic bag to travel with in every spot we had dirty clothes lying around. Our cleaning lady even ran all the way down stairs to the front door when I had accidentally left my hair dryer in the room.
Ordered room service for breakfast. I mentioned I thought I had ordered Orange juice and then remembered I did not when they delivered it. I was thinking when filling out the order I would just have water. Immediately after he left and Orange juice free of charge sent to my room! (WOW)!
We also wanted to see Hamilton at the theatre and were worried about timing as we needed to be at airport no later than 10:30. The hotel (JP was his name) arranged car service to come to the hotel, pick up our bags and meet us at the theatre so we could make our flight after the show.
I travel ALOT and have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world and nothing compares to the service I receved in just 3 days at this hotel!!!!! Jaime, David, JP, cleaning staff, thank you so much...we will be back!

Good attention always I have liked the Ritz Carlton. It's a pity that the first diaben breakfast left me a long black hair in my breakfast. The waiters and the manager very sorry did not charge me for breakfast but the damage was already done I did not eat at the hotel again
