Construction underway. "Urban Outdoorsman" (panhandlers) every where. There are multiple city bus pick up spots and they are all poorly lighted. There is a big difference between things being progressive / "weird" and being completely ridiculous.

Lots of open space, good shade. Must have good drainage too because the ground was soft but not at all muddy when I visited it shortly after a rainstorm.

A good place to entertain a toddler while waiting on the bus, for sure.

I love that is a hub for city events whether yoga, movie nights, and concerts. The park looks beautiful after its renovation about a year ago. I like that there's security surveillance in the area.

I love this park because of how Austin uses it. Located downtown, you'll find a farmer's market on Saturdays with live music and ready to eat food in addition to the usual products. During the warmer months, Alamo shows movies at night on a big screen where people can take a blanket and a snack to enjoy under the stars together. There's been talk of some renovations that aren't necessary but can only make it better.

It is a major bus hub for getting around downtown Austin. There are historical markers and statues, nice and clean public restrooms. It is centrally located in the heart of downtown Austin.

After meeting Mohawk Dan, a petite lady with dread...

After meeting Mohawk Dan, a petite lady with dreadlocks, at the Sour Duck, a few questions of mine finally got answers.
I'm Dirk Quincy and I'm on mission to find Star, the only woman I could ever see myself loving, after 1 passionate night and mysterious match book.
Mohawk Dan explained that the matches were in fact coated with nano bot technology, stolen by Star and entrusted with me to throw the Crocodile Goons off her trail. MD told me I could find more answers at Republic Square, but it was a setup. All I found were 2 greasy Crocks looking to introduce me to each of their fist, fast and hard. I knew I couldn't trust her, she smelled of deceit. Good thing I can handle my own, or a busted nose would've been the least of my problems.
3 broken fingers later, and the Crack named Stone told me what needed to know, the next stop i needed to make. A visit with an old witch with a wonkey eye, Princess Gloria. I'll update again soon as I make contact with her.
But there are still so many questions I need answered.
Why me? I'm a nobody. Just a washed up PI on his way to an early grave. Perhaps the witch can tell.
