My nephew's 1st birthday cake said 18th. I was made to wait a half hour... Before the just scraped it off and sent me on my way... Apparently there were no "decorator's" working.

Love this bakery! Every time I'm in the area I stop by for some amazing pastries and pies <3

We get our cakes here. They still have traditional cookies and treats available.

Norris used to be a really great bakery with reasonable prices, I was surprised and disappointed with their cookies and doughnuts last week. Not nearly as good as they used to be, and prices are higher.

I've been going here since I was a kid, and they still make the great treats I enjoyed back then. Love having them in my neighborhood!

I was never so disappointed in a bakery...I was almost in tears with the cake I ordered for my grandsons first birthday party...I didn't get the cake I ordered at all took the cake back...they actually covered the icing on the cake with another color and I was suppose to settle for this.. they.over charged me & sent me on my way...I had to settle with the cake because my grandsons birthday was the following day!!! very disappointed!!!!

Bought pumpkin pie and raisin btter tarts. They are both good.

An update: I am shocked at the amount of people that still visit this bakery. Two weeks ago someone found BUGS in their order- and this means they havent updated their food safety procedures since SEVEN MONTHS AGO when I complained. Please visit a local business that TREATS THEIR STAFF WELL and CARES ABOUT CUSTOMER SAFETY. and PLEASE, go ahead and ask the staff how they feel they are treated, how long they've worked there, and what they would eat IF ANYTHING. You'll notice the new employees are the only happy ones and the rest will not touch the food they sell.

Ask the staff what they'll eat. You'd be surprised at how disgusted some of them are with the products they sell. Many health code violations as well which were "corrected during inspection", meaning they changed whatever it was and probably went right back to doing it when the inspector was gone. The back of this place is filthy and smells like sewage. Just do me a favor and don't go.

I love this bakery. Everything is amazing and delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly. Just stepping in here makes my mouth water because it smells amazing. I always have a hard time picking out what I want, because I have yet to try anything I didn't love. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth!

So much tasty food! Breads, sandwiches, doughnuts, they're all so good!

If you like donuts you have to try some of theirs. There are many other great goodies there but the donuts are the standouts.

love this place! Try the Scottish Baps (a dinner roll basically). they are mind blowingly good with a stew or soup, or just by themselves. All the bread is FANTASTIC. Great donuts too. Great prices.

This is my go-to place when I need a cake for a special occasion (or even if there's no occasion and I just want an amazing cake).

Prices are the same as grocery store cakes but the quality can't even be compared. Everything is customizable and I always try to order a size bigger than what I need so I can have leftovers for myself.

Some goes for their donuts and other baked goods. Comparable or even less expensive than, say, Tim Horton's, but much higher quality.

Very good bakery, love it as a fellow baker myself. Some of the best in Kitchener, but not a fan of the canolis. But everything else is delicious. Bad canolis.

Hands down the best bakery in town. They make amazing donuts and their cake icing is my favorite and very sweet.

Not impressed for my brothers wedding DAY they FORGOT TO MAKE THEIR WEDDING CAKE and did not honor their commitment!! Yes they gave back their money and provided CUP CAKES thinking that would make it right but what's sad is they were not able to take any pictures of the traditional cake cutting!! Dont recommend this place

My kids are in love with the dinner rolls from Norris Bakery. We live in London but find ourselves buying bags of dinner rolls anytime we come to Kitchener. Kids have started calling them Kitchener Buns now. I'm personally very fond of the chocolate eclairs. Highly recommend this bakery.

A lovely traditional bakery. Their product is always consistently good and freshly made.

Great bakery everythings hand made from scratch. They make everything from beautiful wedding cakes to a variety of desserts like tea balls similar to timbits donuts like honey dip chocolate dip amazing boston creams and there famous Long Johns lile 2 donuts with a sweet cream in between and covered in icing sugar they also make a variety of breads and a mix of pastrys. They also have a booth at the Kitchener Market. Great place been going there for years love this place

After reading a lot of FB reviews and talking to neighbors the general consensus was that Norris Bakery was the bakery of choice in the KW region. So on our daughter's birthday we decided to give them a try. Well we were not that impressed. Don't get me wrong their goods were fine just not as Great as we were lead to believe. Oh well, better luck next time FB!

The peanut butter cups taste like wax, and the cookies I bought tasted like they weren't baked long enough ..

Bought cake and there was too much sugar in the cake. please add some other stuff too in the cream except the sugar

Nice Italian/European bakery in Kitchener. Went for purchase donuts when they had none. As previous reviewers have mentioned, Call Ahead to make sure they have what you want!

Easily could have spent way more than I did. Left with 3 boxes of delicious made from scratch sweets. Eclairs and powdered donuts were the star features! Can't wait to go back!!!

My favorite bakery! They have such a great selection of beads, buns, pies, donuts and lots of little sweet treats. They do larger call ahead orders and are very accommodating. All the staff are so friendly and helpful! If you haven't tried them yet, you need to get their long John's. They're my family's favourite for a reason!

Usually a great place but not this Thanksgiving. Ordered doughnuts on a Wednesday, picked up saturday morning and the order wasn't ready. No biggie, while I waited other customers were complaing about mistakes in their orders. Eventually received my order and left. Got home and the order was not correct...we were missing 4 doughnuts of a specific type. Went to Zerhs Bakery and got them there as they were for someone in particular so we needed them. I am surprised more than anything as this is usually a great and dependable place. I wonder if they changed ownership as others who seemed to be regulars were complaing while I was in the store. Anyway It usually is good so hopefully this was just a bad day. I will try again another time.

Some baked iitems good and and some bake goods just ok.

Friendly service. Food is average. Find too much sugar and chocolate used. But, this may just be not what I am used to in pastry.

This is a nice bakery overall.

A month ago, I ordered and prepaid for a cake to be picked up the following week.
On my way to the party I stopped to pick up the cake and it wasn't what I ordered.... it wasn't even close to what I ordered!
I was given a refund after I asked for one.

Great prices, Amazing taste and even better customer service. I bought 2 apple pies and I can easily say i have never tasted anything better. I Very much would recommend to anybody to try these delicious pies.

This place has gone down hill over the years. They are definitely skipping on quality.

Always love going to Norris. They have the best apple fritters in town. And there T-Balls (like a timbit) are always perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside!

Love this place. Long johns are awesome cakes are amazing too. Almost all the staff is wonderful speed of service isn't great but worth the wait. Only complaint I have is on more than one occasion we got stale cupcakes out of the display case. The cake part is self wasn't fresh it was crusty and hard the icing was hard too. We go there at least once a month. Pecan tarts and pie are great too

Well, they decided not to bake french or Italian bread today and they didn't feel like baking fruit scones so my drive to the other side of the city was a waste of time. I guess we need to call daily to find out what's on the menu.
