Nice hotel, well known by local people (taxi drivers:)
For the price, you could probably book a hotel that was better located and in better shape. This is definitely not a 5-star hotel.
Our first room reeked of cigarette smoke, and all they did was send house keeping up to spray an odor neutralizer which might as well have been Axe body spray. After getting a migraine from the spray that they used, they relocated us to another room on the other side of the hotel. This room didn t smell like smoke BUT the shower literally smells like SEWAGE.
We re going to just book another hotel for the remainder of our stay here in Shanghai.
The hotel is well decorated, the facilities are quite complete, the traffic is very convenient! Breakfast is very rich
Try Suite 4812 - amazing view over all Shaghai !!!!! Crazy. Moreover it is the higher tower of the city. Very well located
It is a very convenient hotel, with easy-to-understand buildings immediately from the exit of the expressway, and with many convenience stores around it.
It is a bit old-fashioned, but a reasonable 5 star hotel.
To get to the center you have to walk 15 minutes to the nearest station. The rooms are all located on the high floor and you can see the Bund. The rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with abundant menu.
Cospa strongest at facilities and breakfast! But the transportation is ...
Personally, this hotel is recommended for people on business trips. However, it is a feeling of ... to sightseeing. There is no shop called "this" around, and you need to go by taxi wherever you go. Furthermore, because it is directly below the expressway, traffic rushing in the morning and evening is so spectacular that I have been waiting for a taxi for about an hour.
However, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is luxurious, and cospas are the strongest at this level because this rate is difficult in other areas. It can be recommended for those who do not go out of the hotel once they finish their work on a business trip.
This is a very good hotel overall and for business travellers offers excellent positioning between the everyday and (night) life of Shanghai and the business districts one would want to visit.
In July 2012 I spent two weeks at the Longemont and I had the chance to check thoroughly the service as I spent time there working as well.
- Internet (Wi-Fi and fixed CAT5) in the rooms and the restaurants is available for free for customers, but at times is slow. At good times some videos can be streamed.
- TV: The usual CCTV and CNN, BBC WS, the local HBO and Cinemax channels, DIVA, Nat Geo. The flat screens are of good size, but only average quality.
- Food: very good but expensive and note the 15% surcharge on all prices.
- The Japanese restaurant and the coffee area in the lobby allow smoking so be minded that areas in the hotel and some corridors are smelly of tobacco.
- Pool / Gym: Reasonably good selection of machines and ample space. In July it was hardly ever busy. The pool is usually empty even on very hot days and at peak times (after 6pm) it is not very busy.
Air-Conditioning: very good and effective with low noise levels. It does not switch off when you exit the room so the temperature is stable.
As with many good Chinese hotels there are minor annoying issues for western travellers that are accustomed to a uniform service in Europe and North America.
Cleanliness is at a high level and the rooms are stylishly and comfortably decorated. The odd mistakes in design are obvious though. In some rooms the room service trolley-table will not pass through the desk and bed because of the angles.
The lighting fixture above the desk can only be switched off with the master switch so if you want to use your laptop during darkness it will sign strongly on your keyboard and the screen.
Some plugs are not working always well, but there are many in each room so it is unlikely you will not find one fitting your type of connection.
Breakfast is very good for Chinese restaurant with ample choice, but it can get busy and at times it is smelly with food being cooked on the spot.
Very good service at reception desk with good level of English speaking staff and polite and effective housekeeping.
This place is not a 5 star place to be staying at, don t get me wrong. The place is very luxuries and the nightly costs lets you know. Most hotels offer free stuff like breakfast or Wi-Fi.
We found that paying $200 a night you still have to pay for everything extra on top of that.
Stayed for nearly a month here in 2010, never got tired of the place, actually, a very nice hotel to stay in.
Huge hotel with original Chinese food, yum! Rooms are also very clean, I think nice, not as in some hotels where it is very dirty. Top.
Beautiful hotel, amazing view at the city from the gym (25th floor) and hotel gardens.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the city s landscape is beautiful
I like the feeling of coming in the morning sun, bright and clean
The bathroom door can be fully opened, and you can enjoy watching the movie while taking a bath.
The bathrobe is thick and comfortable to wear.
The tea bag/coffee bag is under the TV cabinet and looks very refined.
The breakfast is varied and the bread is very varied. It is delicious.
P.s. The hotel does not provide toiletries, you need to bring your own!
Forgot to bring it to the counter
The staff's response is good.
There are places where I feel old, but the facilities were cleaned well and I was able to spend comfortably.
The hotel with high CP value is comfortable and clean, and the service staff is polite.
Good geographical location but staff really not welcoming. The rooms are spacious and well equipped.
Well. Rooms are great specially if you are above 40th floor.
But the lobby is dusty and tons of details showing that this was maybe a great hotel, in the past.
The breakfast room is huge and offers many different dishes, unfortunately none of these has a decent standard.
Disappointing. I understand now how felt some friends staying there last year for 2 months.
The size of the room is ok, and the decoration is quite new. The hotel is a little further away.
Comfortable, spacious, good view. However, it is slightly far from the station. About 15 minutes on foot.
Choosing to stay at this hotel was a complete accident, and the agency booked a cheap start-up, with two breakfasts. Try to live and watch it.
The front desk staff was a bit indifferent, and the long-term mechanical work burnout felt a little less. After entering the room, understand that this price is more consistent with this facility. Not an old problem, mainly because of the neglect of details. The selection and placement of objects in the room, the cleaning and laying of the furniture, always feel that it is not particularly particular, and it is less a little bit of intentional taste. The bathroom space is super big, just because the first impression of the room is not good, psychologically feel that the health is not assured, resulting in completely afraid to use the bathtub.
The quality of the breakfast food is average, and the fresh stuff is not the freshest. The taste is also average, you can enter. From the perspective of location, it is probably more suitable for business travelers.
The environment is good, warm, service is in place, there is a feeling of home, but also cheap, the national chain hotel, no matter where you can find her home and cost-effective, the price of civilians.
Excellent staff with easy travel connectivity. Superb lobby bar with nice music. Breakfast spread was with great choices.
There is a Shanghai restaurant nearby 1221 price and taste are recommended, it is best to book first, just opposite the Dragon Dream Hotel
15 minutes on foot from Yan'an West Road Subway Station and Jiangsu Road Station
It is about.
You can also go to the Hongqiao Airport by subway.
It is more reasonable than using a taxi. There is a Japanese-speaking staff at the front desk. The room was fully equipped with free-wifi. In the hotel
There are restaurants such as Italian restaurant and Japanese food (sushi restaurant).
There is a pool inside and guests can use it for free.
Internet performance needs to be strengthened, business hotel network is not very good
Company mail is not received very much
I attended the company's annual meeting here. It is a five-star hotel, the facilities and services are good enough, and the staff are very friendly.
The trip is a commercial business trip, living in the hotel's more advanced business room. The facilities in the room are complete and the view is very good. In fact, it is also suitable for couples. The on-site restaurant is quite standard and there seem to be a lot of regular customers. The living around the hotel is good, and the nearby Dingxi Road is a food street. However, the computer at the counter may be slower and less loadable when there are many people. If there are more senior guests, they will feel uncomfortable. This can be better.
The best thing about this places are they provide you with q tips. they also have some really cool locking mechanisms for their doors. They're breakfast area is also very amazing consisting of both eastern and western cuisine. Be very careful in the lobby when it's wet because it's made out of very very slick marble and there are not very many grip tape on the steps making them a quite a bit dangerous. your key cards will also expire the night before your meant to check out so make sure that you check that your key card is working or you might get all the way up to your floor and then have to go all the way back down to the lobby.
The facilities in the room are complete and the view is very good. In fact, it is also suitable for couples. Although it has been in business for many years, equipment implementation is still very new.
Great place. Close to the bund (not to walk, but 10min in taxi). Great room and view from it. It was a pleasant stay.
5 starts breakfast, gym and room, but the price is a bit too high, compare with other hotels.
I have visited Shanghai for 3 nights for attending label expo Shanghai 2019. I am solo traveler. Hotel is exceptional, Large Room. Good Breakfast, this hotel in city center. So overall I have recommended without any doubt.
Excellent five-star hotel. Recommend the rooms on the upper floors as they enjoy an excellent view of the city. The gym has excellent machinery; from the pool you can enjoy a great view. Friendly, knowledgeable staff as well as a medium-high level of English
The room is very big
But I do n t know if you guys recommend that the meal be delivered by microwave heating
The traffic location is very good, very convenient, the room is comfortable, the sleep is very sweet, the bathroom is very big, there is a turndown service, the view on the 51st floor is very good, the breakfast is also a lot, the fruit is fresh, the juice is playing! Very push!
The best view and experience of fine dining at this hotel
Great rooms, great view and great service. Pitty about the smog. But that's hardly the responsibility of the Lobgemont.
Although it is a little away from the center, I do not feel inconvenience because there is a resident taxi. We stayed for 3 nights on the 45th floor but it was comfortable. The room is large. The night view is also beautiful. It is recommended. Oh, at the morning meal, Ms. made a special order omelet to Ms. Cook, but it made me feel free. I said it was delicious (laughs).
Nice view, cozy, good equipments, big room and good location to go somewhere.
but little bit expensive and hard to get the taxi especially in the morning. It was nice breakfast.
It was okay here. It was clean and spacious in room, and facilities were good, too. Location is also good for moving in Shizhafu. It is expensive only and it was not easy to catch taxi in the morning. But overall it is a very good hotel.
Not bad, the environment is clean and tidy, very comfortable, there is hot water in 24 hours, the service staff is in place, very satisfied
The room is quiet and tidy, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is big, the fly in the ointment is that the breakfast items are generally not changed. Take a taxi to the Bund without traffic jams about 25-30 yuan.
Away from the subway station and away from the main attractions of Shanghai.
Excellent rooms, good service and attention
