very old hotel and over priced for what it has to offer. For 200 kuai more you can stay in Puli which is 100% nicer in every single way ... service not so great either, they don't care much about customers coz the place is in a prime location there're many business guests anyway.

Hotel well located. Very complete breakfast and good quality. Very comfortable and clean room. The only thing that for this quality of hotel, staff facing the public, speak very little in English.

Nice Hotel in a good location, service was good, breakfast nice, rooms had a nice size.
While you can control the lights of the room pretty much from the bed there are sadly no power close to the night stands. So if you want to charge while watching something in or on the bed you'll need an extension cord or a power bank.

The environment is good, I like the lighting of the room, but the room service is too slow. I asked for a room to smoke, but there was no ashtray in the room. The overall service is good and the price is reasonable, I will recommend it to my friends.

It was very close to so many attractions in Shanghai with many places to eat, shop and rest for a coffee. The pool facilities are really well taken care of.

Hotel is nice and has all the amenities you would expect for this star hotel. The breakfast selection could get a bit boarding if you're here too long and the gym is a little on the smaller side. The price fluctuates a fair amount. Rooms are relatively quiet and the views ok depending on the rooms. If you book through a third party you won't accumulate accor points.

I stayed 2 nights in August 2012 at this hotel, attending a company seminar close to the hotel. Gym is fine for a morning workout. Breakfast remains well diversified . place is quite and rooms are OK for a good sleep. Price turns around 110 Euros.

Very nice hotel.
Perfect location with restaurants and shops nearby. The temple is just a few meters away. The staff also speaks English.
The checkin process was smooth.
There is gym, swimming pool, sauna and spa.
Fruits are available at the entrance of the gym.
The double bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious enough. There might be a lack of privacy though if sharing the room with a friend as you can easily see through the bathroom door and little part of the glass wall.
There is a restaurant on the first floor and large seating area where you can enjoy a drink in the lobby.

I always go to the Swiss Hotel when I travel to Shanghai. Well located. Spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast quite European (it is appreciated) and a lot of variety. Attentive staff Recommendable!

In the central area of Jing'an District, there are many dining and leisure shopping places nearby. It is convenient to travel, the rooms are clean and the facilities are complete. If the sound insulation effect is better, it is better. There is a business center, and the office is convenient. It is suitable for business trips.

Great overall experience. Really accommodating. I wouldn't recommend the hotel restaurant, but everything else is top notch and there's free nespresso in your room.

Davos Hall vendor training, 2nd floor buffet is good

Just one day business trip, very central location, metro line 2 directly to Hongqiao airport/train station. Jing an Temple within walking distance within a metropolitan center. Gym is ok but not top notch condition, heard swimming pool was great but didn t use it. Breakfast is great and staff are friendly.

As expected, this is a 5 star hotel. All credit cards are accepted and the receptionist speaks English. The rooms are large and clean and the breakfast buffet is abundant and delicious. The location is also very convenient.

Spent few weeks there. I don t know Shanghai very much but think the hotel is very well located. Subway and a lot of great restaurants and bars at walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. The spa is alright. And breakfast is at the standard for the price.

The hotel location is good. Near shopping mall and many restaurants around it.

Entering the hotel, you will find a nice lobby area. Staffs at the reception can understand English. So I have not faced any language issue here.

Room is spacious enough for a standard room. All you need is there from complete amenities in the bathroom, shoe polish, iron & iron board, umbrella, coffee and tea...

WiFi is also working very fine here.

Breakfast choices are great. The fruit juices are fresh.

Only one small remark: that the room cleaning service have not given me any new shower gel & shampoo on my second day. So I need to ask the room service for it. Normally, they should provide it directly a second one....

Comfortable, great staff. Showing its age, needs renovation. Club food extremely repetitive. Again lovely staff.
Early evening hip hop DJ in the main lounge to loud and annoying. Flow lounge lacks atmosphere and is open to the main entrance. The bar is built under a star way and unsuitable for use by guests. In fact it is no used at all.

Overall, the best is the guest room, the executive room is large and comfortable, and the view from the window is unobstructed, especially at night. The bathroom and the big bed are very comfortable, the TV on the mirror side of the bathroom, while listening and watching the news while washing. Entering the room is like a home. I registered at the front desk and arrived at the room for only a few minutes, but the room was completed in the short minutes of preparation for the nightly opening, everything was methodical, let me experience the feeling of not seeing people. Thanks for the wine...
