The Regent Kuala Lumpur - Four Seasons Hotel Review

Great deal during off peak.. huge room maintaining the four season trademark.. especially loved the pool which has music underwater and a nice changing room. Only minus is no connecting walkway to klcc area.. hence when it rained I got drenched walking over.

Bar Trigona is excellent for drinks and offers a fantastic view!

The best hotel of its class. Everything was well arranged for my stay in this hotel. I had a very late check in, but the front desk, Farah treated me so well! She really ensures I have a smooth check in, and a great stay.
Despite busy day, Manager Halilah greeted me every single day, and consistently checks comfortability of my stay.
Definitely will stay again.

High Tech features in the hotel, excellent & friendly staff as expected, and very strategic placing right next to KLCC. What's not to like?

From the door to the upstairs to the dining staff, the staff are very polite and the service is very good. The tableware staff will also come to pack the food for the diners and arrange the food at a glance. The food has everything there is juice, coffee, snacks, Western food, and Chinese food. The staff speaks English and Malay. It would be better to have a few first aid translations in Chinese. Individuals will score 90 high.

Brilliant place to stay, lovely service. One of the Housekeeping staffs even take time to straightened my plushies' clothes. You know it's the little things that can show how much they actually care.

The dimsum @Yun Restaurant, Four Seasons was amazing. Better than Ritz Carlton s chinese restaurant

Stayed in a 1-bedroom deluxe apartment (with Club Lounge access) instead of typical hotel rooms.

Cosy bedroom and a spacious living room (albeit not fully decorated yet), superb for hosting friends over for catch-up and drinks.
Housekeeping was efficient. Staff generally gracious and engaging too.

Location is good, surrounded by unlimited dining and retail choices like Shoppes at Four Seasons Place and KLCC ( about 5 mins to walk over).
As of now, FS KL, is probably the best hotel there.

I visited the shopping mall only. Had a delicious dinner there.

Staffs are humble, though its a big 5star chain, they never looked down on you, normal people

Came here to have a Thanksgiving Dinner at Curate with friends. Overall it was a great experience, and it is so worth the price we paid!

A very nice and classy hotel in KL. Great food (its one of the best among all hotels), awesome service by the crew. Nothing much you could ask for more when there's a Robinsons departmental store attached to it where you can shop if you're lazy to walk out to the busy street and there's also a hidden gem of a food court underneath the departmental store.

Good location, good rooms, pool best. The view is a bit delicate, but the price is very good.

Amazing hotel, every aspect of this place is awesome , the staff are on our with the best in the world. Right in the middle of town, safe area and people have a real genuine smile! Will be coming back for sure

Just finished organizing an corporate event at their Ballroom, couple of days ago. It was a trully an amazing experience. The Ballroom is beautiful and the staff are very helpful especially their floor manager. The food is delicious (according to a friend of mine since I'm fasting). The surau also comfortable. Definitely recommended if you are plan to do an event here. You will love it.

Great ambience but food not wide selection and seafood is not that fresh

Executive club is very comfortable and free food flow are nice.

A beautiful hotel but lacking in places.
I have stayed at other Four Seasons hotels prior to this so my expectations were based on the amazing experiences I'd had previously.
Sadly they weren't met fully.

What's good

The staff are attentive and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location next to the KLCC shopping centre in the heart of KL.

Guest rooms are.nice and are large too for a central KL hotel. The bed is so comfy too.

Lots of large open spaces.

The club lounge is lovely and has a deck so you can sit outside while enjoying a drink.
Food and drink in the club lounge is free between 6 and 8pm but also serves breakfast and afternoon tea.
The food in the club is lovely.

Pool area.
Designed for adults with very nice and secluded sunbeds. 18 in total, with 8 of these in the pool.
Very comfy sunbeds with pillows too!

Curate
The buffet in Curate is very extensive and great quality too. The whole experience was beautiful with attentive and friendly staff.

What's not so good

The finish quality of the build is poor in places, and looks to have been finished in a rush. Examples include electrical sockets not fixed to the wall properly, or electrical fixtures not straight with other fixtures.
The beautiful floor tiles in the room are all stained and look like they are pourous, and for a relatively new hotel looks tired.
Cement around the pool paving hasn't been cleaned up by the builders or the housekeeping staff.
In a hotel this new, I would have expected usb ports next to the bed.

Housekeeping
The room was very dusty upon arrival so much so that we could write our names in it. The first days clean fixed that for the main part but it was still not the standard you'd expect.
There was grout on the tiles under the bathroom vanity unit, that had been there since construction.

Smoking policy
Upon checking in we were informed that he whole hotel was now non smoking.
None of the staff even tried to stop anyone smoking even at the bar where food was served. Why say it if you don't enforce it? We asked about it but the staff just shrugged it off.

Pool area.
Very small pool deck for a hotel of this size. Heavily frequented by families and unattended children despite being designed for adults.
The 8 sunbeds in the pool aren't much use if you have a mobile phone ,or you have to be very careful not to drop it.
Bathrooms by the pool without any hand towels at 9am, so not being serviced regularly.

All in all a nice place but needs attention to detail to live up to the Four Seasons name

I was here only for a conference but all the staff I interacted with treated with really friendly attitude. The five stars are for the staff.

Nice food, nice ambience. The staff are very helpful. Very clean surau. Love to come again.

Located beside klcc. The lobby is not located at the ground floor. You need to take the lift up to a higher floor to check-in.

Comfy and large room. The bathroom and the wardrobe are large as well. The bed was very soft. There's an elegant writing table in the room.

The controls in the room were all digital. Sufficient sockets for charging phones beside the bed.

Always amazing! Excellent service by very attentive staff.

Best Nasi Lemark I had in KL. It's a local hit dish in Malaysia.

It is such beautiful hotel with warm welcome I got from people over there. It is such a wonderful and remarkable experience I had. Will come back again for sure.

There are too many employees at the moment because the hotel was not fully opened. The staff were all, without exception, nice. At check-in, how to convince the children, with gifts etc., is very good. Keep it up ...

This Four Seasons lives up to their standards. The breakfast and dinner buffet were superb. Particularly loved the service by their staffs, from the room services to all the lobby attendees were really nice, helpful and all spoke good english. The location made it most convenient also. Wished I had the time to try their pool and gym. Nonetheless an unforgettable stay indeed.

went for Ramadhan break fast.it was a good experience, good environment, good food, good theme. all is good. luckily someone's paying, I really can't afford to pay the price though. :)

Absolute luxury hotel. It is not better. Great staff, they speak good English there and the location is perfect, right in the center of KLCC Park. The decor of the room is incredible, alone the operation of the toilet is high-tech (see picture).

Went to an event in Grand Ballroom..easy navigation.Ballroom is decent with perfect lighting.Food was superb as well the beverages both alcohol and non-alcohol.Definitely looking forward to attend another event here

Wonderful Four Seasons experience. All the staff are professional and caring our needs. Room are spacious, clean and great park view. Location is strategic and well connected. We will definitely come back again. Kudos to FSKL. Thumbs up.

Great latest landmark for Kuala Lumpur hotel. Convinance a short distance walk to KLCC and to K Avenue.

The Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur is definately ome of the best hotels in Kuala Lumpur. The hotel lives up to its reputation. Great spread of breakfast at Curate. Beautiful lounge near the reception playing with a pianist playing live.

We stayed twice at the hotel. The service and attention to detail is unparalleled. From the moment you check in till the time you lrave the building every member of the team goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable and attend to you. As an example Ms Sheila the Director of Rooms takes the time to oversee the check in process and in our case when she saw we had a family she offered a very reasonable upgrade. Its this personalized attention to detail and amazing service levels that truly sets the hotel apart..

Probably the best hotel I have been to in a long time. The staff is really friendly and kind and the room is fantastic because it s so spacious. I would recommend getting a city view room because the view is absolutely amazing!!! I will definitely be going back!

We went to the Chinese restaurant in the four seasons to try the yum cha. It was one of the best yum cha experiences I have had. It was quite pricey though.

The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars is the size of the pool.
Other than that, everything was awesome. The room, the bed was definitely different level!
