Great property, friendly staff and good food. Nearby the Asthamudi lake. Trip is available for the guest in the evening. You can also book spead boat ride etc. Also cultural events available in the evening. Highly recommend for the leisure holiday with family at Kollam

I had my family gathering on Jan 8th to celebrate my daughters engagement. We had a poolside function with Indian Fusion music by Panmana Gopan.
Our stay at Raviz for 4 days was excellent. The atmosphere, staff and facilities were top class and i would recommend this place to my friends in India and especially abroad.

My family and I arrived at Raviz Ashtamudi on December 24, 2020. Our initial plans were to stay a week and then move to another resort. However, we decided to extend our stay after a few days of enjoying the scenic view of the backwaters of Kerala and the delicious food that was provided by the kitchen under the leadership of Celebrity Chef, Suresh Pillai. It is extremely hard to be critical of this place because everything they provided during our stay had a lot of thought and effort put into it.
Credits go to management and the entire team at Raviz - Maneksha, Bony, Suma, Akilesh, Archana, Naseem, Ginu and others - who went the extra mile to ensure my family was well taken care off. Management and Staff are humble, respectful, easy to talk too and were accommodating of our requests. I would recommend this beautiful resort to anyone looking to relax and recharge. Thank you Raviz for the amazing time. We will be sure to stay with you in our next visit to Kollam. - Love from the George Family in Toronto, Canada

Very pleasant view to the lake Ashtamudi. Loved the atmosphere. Experienced good facilities,air conditioned hall. Spacious parking area. Swimming pool is fine. Very kindly people. Liked it simply.

Cool one. Food expensive and not so tasty. Nice stay.

If you're foreigner, don't set much of expectations compared to the rest of Hotels in India you may stayed at. The hotel is very dirty the food is gross (lots of hair on the food honest to God). The hallway was so smelly, apparently they the trash out using the same elevator the gust use! Stay away avoid this hotel at any cost. And they had us wait 45 minutes to get two out of 3 of our rooms!!!!

Room cleanliness did not meet even 3 star standards,

Cons :

Toilet has smelly from day one and remained until end of stay ( 3 day Stay )
no newspaper , laundry bag , face towels are not provided unless requested.
Ironing board was missing
Linen and towels were of poor quality.
Was not informed of children s activities until check out.

Pros :

Will highly recommend the restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Serves authentic food and provides excellent service.
Complimentary boat ride was nice.

Wud recommend the one day package, rooms are mediocre and nothing close to five standard..

Hotel was excellent.its 5 star. Very good ambience and very supportive staff. Also the swimming pool is well maintained.

Big big blow of heart. For once, we are pleasantly surprised on arrival: we found that the hotel was much more beautiful in real life than on the photos of booking. The setting is sensational: the hotel overlooks the lake, it's quiet, it's beautiful ... We are stunned when we arrive! We were well received, although the staff was not very pleasant. The food in the hotel is very good. Although Kollam does not have much interest and due to the monsoon, many activities nearby were impossible, the hotel itself is an attraction. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the lake. Free boat tour every day at 17h. Keralaise dance shows every night. Very large room with lake view and pool. No negatives, except that the staff could be a little nicer.

I was hospitalized after a dinner . I am scared of their prawns grilled

An outstanding Luxury Resort Hotel nestled away on the banks of the serene Ashtamudi Lake. Brilliant location, aesthetically designed Villa Rooms with Private Plunge Pools, finger licking food (literally), an extensive Buffet Spread for Breakfast & Lunch and an array of leisure/water sports activities. The signature Spa is a must visit. The early morning wake-up view of the lake from the Room Verandah is an experience by itself. Overall, one of the best Resort experiences in my travels all over Southern India. Kudos to Ms. Suma Nair, Resort Manager for her attention to detail and the warm hospitality extended to me during my Stay. Would love to return for a longer stay.

A perfect place to spend the weekend. Peaceful atmosphere and great hospitality. They are always there for u till u check out. Food at Keraleeyam is amazing, Chef Pillai can awake yr taste buds. Because of covid regulations pools are closed and fridges are vacant. AC rooms and nice views outside balcony, The photos will tell u the rest

This was 1 of the rare & exquisite resorts for a relaxing family vacation that ticks all the right boxes - breathtaking views from the room, friendly & cheerful support staff, excellent dining options, indulging amenities + spa and an excellent value for money package for 2 nights .
A special note of appreciation to the staff at the restaurant for their ever cheerful support & making us feel at home. Loved their house boat, row boat & kayak rides in the Ashtamudi lake. We have a wonderful time with everyone in the family enjoying every bit of our stay ... a Big thumbs up !!

Air-conditioning is not good at all. Water stops in the middle of your shower. Frequent power outages. Mattress is too soft .

Went for team building , arrangments are good . We arrived a bit late and busy with activities so did not get much time to use the facilities. However swimming pool was good and snooker was also nice. Team building activities organised was also cool.

Must try the karimeen nirvana at the Raviz Ashtamudi. Dine overlooking the Ashtamudi lake and go for a stroll in the property after a sumptuos meal. Only downside was service which was not upto the mark. The restaurant was understaffed some dishes were not upto expectations. Must visit place for seafood lovers.

One of the best getaway place in kerala you will be in such a heaven like never else...
