Very interesting to find out more about the construction of both the bridge and the dam that lie here. You can follow tours here that go through the dam. In the visitor center more information is given about water and the impact on the environment.

One of the best places on earth. Whether you are visiting for the day, car camping or spending a week on the boat this place won't get old! Lots of good campsites. Good fishing, watersports and hiking. We visited Sand Mountain up Moki Canyon with our kids (7 and 4) and they loved it! Make sure to bring enough water. It's about 3/4-1 mile hike, depending on water level. It's mostly in the stream so you can cool off in it.

Amazing rangers, cool scenery.

Amazing rangers, cool scenery.

The one downside is that the town of Page, AZ charges a fee to visit the park's horseshoe bend vista, which is pretty unethical. Municipalities shouldn't limit access to public land.

Beautiful scenery, great wildlife, superior water sports. Beware, though - sandstorms can ruin equipment and blow people away in their tents. If you can avoid those, it's heaven in the water. If you don't like the water, its very very hot. You will spend a bunch of money on ice and gasoline, but you'll get to see amazing red cliffs against beautiful green water.

Glide through still canyons filled with blue water reflecting the cliffs high above.

Exploring the many side channels of Lake Powell is an adventurer's dream come true.

No matter how many times I've been here, it's always a fresh experience going back because as water levels change...which they do every year or even month...certain portions of canyons are either more accessible or become too high above the water to get into.

Best time to go is in late September or early October. Water is still warm, the lake is uncrowded and temperatures remain in the 70s and 80s instead of skin-scorching 100s.

Best place on Earth! Beautiful! You can sit in your RV all day, with windows uncovered. and still feel so blessed by all of the beauty. Panoramic view and it is different in each direction. Nothing like it!

Too too beautiful like all the canyons of the American West. They all have something that makes you want to go back at another time of day in another season, when there are fewer people to meditate alone with the vastness ...
Attractive and terrifying bird's eye view, well furnished of course.
To do and redo ...
You will return of course !!!

Absolutely gorgeous is an understatement! What an amazing experience! Horseshoe bend and antelope slot canyon (there are so many slot canyons that are all gorgeous) are my favorites, as well as kayaking lake powell.

Favorite place to be on our boat. Unfortunately the service at Offshore is the absolute worst. Don't ever count on Offshore Marina to service your boat or even look at it for that matter.
