The Proximity Hotel Review

Sensational! I chose to stay here because this was the location of the wedding reception I was in. The rooms are stunning and roomy. The staff was very accommodating and the elevators are speedy!

Visited the hotel for a business training in the area and I am impressed with cleanliness and relaxing environment of the hotel. Staff truly made me feel special. From the receptionist to the hotel manager, people looked into my eyes to say hello and made sure everyone is comfortable, later found out that hotel was employee owned which explains. Keep it up guys.

I have always enjoyed spending time at the Proximity, whether as a guest or working to photograph an event. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are incredible, and everything is bright and clean. Definitely check out the king spa rooms.

Beautiful hotel. Everyone was super helpful and accommodating. I had what may have been a silly request to them but it made my stay unique and my guest laugh and smile. Thanks for the brownie points.

This hotel is awesome. Very modern and elegant. Love that it's literally minutes away from everything. The restaurant at this hotel is excellent.

Love the Atmosphere. Dinner was great. Crab fondue was delicious. Duck was delightful. Best social distance restaurant setup, I was glad to get back out to eat and feel safe.

To say the staff was accommodating would be an understatement. We had several special needs, all of them were met, and done so with a smile. We could not have asked for a more pleasant stay.

My original stay was for two nights and then I called in about two days ahead and added another night. It was for my birthday. My room was gorgeous and there were chocolate truffles waiting for me in my room. Check in was easy and swift and I was greeted immediately upon entry. Room service was delightful and the staff was so nice. Every time I exited the hotel, I was told hello and greeted when I returned. I was able to get the rest I needed and the comfort I desired. I will definitely be back. No complaints.

As a surprise birthday gift my significant other and I spent the night in the Loft King Spa for a night. I'd give 5 stars just for the bathroom! Sliding doors to enter the bathroom and personal bath robes. The walk-in glass wall shower and separate tub feature with waterfall spout brings out the best fantasy. Opening side window next to the tub that leads into the bedroom is the perfect way for a couple to celebrate. Bluetooth speaker hookup for surround sound in the room and don't worry about the noise level because the walls are sound proofed. Probably one of the best nights I've slept considering the bed was covered in Bamboo linens. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

I was there today for an all day business meeting and they accommodated me as a new mother and allowed me a room in order to pump. They allowed me to use one of their rooms and was very respectful, letting me know that I had access to it all day. Thank you again for accomodating me!!

I did not stay in any rooms, but the staff was amazing, and the food that they served was great! This conference went well, and could be attributed to the hotel staff.

Beautiful views, clean rooms, excellent service. This is by far the best hotel in the area.

We booked the date night package for a get away. Truly, an amazing experience. The staff was curteous, the king loft more they we expected and our dining experience at the Bistro was delicious. We will be back. It was pricey but the quality and experience well worth it. The air quality in the hotel is remarkable. I had the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. If you're looking for a memorable experince of a romantic evening, where you feel like you're being catered to, then check out the packages Proximity has to offer. The King spa suite is in one word, sexy. The mirrored windows open up in the shower/tub area. You just have to see it!

This was my first visit to Printworks Bistro and I love the atmosphere and the people and staff. I will return at a later date to enjoy some of the cuisines they have available because on this visit I only came for late night event on first Friday.

while the location is a bit...weird (it's in an office park), the hotel is beautiful, and the staff is stellar. Everyone from the front desk staff to the waitstaff was unfailingly polite and helpful. The rooms are large and nicely furnished, with filtered water dispensers on every floor. I would stay again.

The Proximity lived up to what I have heard. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Every time I walked through the lobby there was someone to greet you. From front desk to housekeeping, everyone wanted to help. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone.
The only weakness is in there TV. The TV was old and outdated. Not easy to use, especially a bad sign when there is a whole page on how to turn it on and actually use it.

Fantastic service, amenities, and bed. We stayed in a King room, and there was a good sized living room with seating for 8-10. The TV has a built-in Google Chromecast that we used that was really convenient. The TV also had cable.

The Proximity is an awesome hotel, simply put. There's a really cool industrial theme, that's contrasted with really cozy and quirky furnishings. The staff is prompt and courteous, the food from the attached PrintWorks Bistro is some of the best I've had, and I really felt right at home while staying there. All in all, this is one of the best hotels I've had the opportunity to stay at, right up there with the Saint Regis.

One of the best hotels in which I've stayed. Filtered water stations on every floor is genius (no gross hotel sink water? Yes, please!) Spacious, comfy rooms, located near a greenway for running, excellent restaurant attached and offering room service... this place is where it's at!

Ok, it s covid I get it, however this hotels doesn t follow the 6 feet rule. The hotel had a line the crowded the lobby. No one could follow the covid guidelines. As I was waiting in line along with other angry customers no manager came out to apologize or check on us. This is the most unorganized false 5 start hotel I ve ever been too. You are better off going to Hilton or Marriott. The main reason I will not be back at this hotel is because we were not compensated for our wait or bad customer service that was given to us.

I love the Proximity Hotel. Anytime I'm in Greensboro that's where I will stay.

I was recently at the hotel for a social event. I have been there several times for social events and to eat in their amazing restaurant. The whole place has a lovely feel and is beautifully decorated.

For the price the staff should be more helpful and attentive.

Great hotel. Large rooms, plenty of space to work in. My room had a desk and couch sitting area. The decor is a sort of modern design, that is executed in a way that makes the room feel warm, even though polished concrete is a recurring feature. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very nice. Breakfast was included in my price. Breakfast is a full menu with a good selection. After hours the lights are turned down and bar is a good place to hang out with attentive bar tenders that also can provide full menu service.

The only complaint is the water flow of the sinks and showers. I feel there is less flow than other water saver showers and sinks. Not a deal breaker, but frustrating.

Great Hotel with excellent accommodations and a unique focus on excellent service. Great staff, a delight to stay there (and their restaurants and bars have amazing food and drink selections)

This place is amazing! Clean, gorgeous, amazing staff. You must also go to the bistro in the hotel.

We wanted a hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday in January, during the pandemic. We wanted to indulge ourselves. We found the Proximity Hotel and were amazed by the hotel and the room but mostly the staff and service! It is a warm but modern hotel with quirky touches. The room, a spa loft (immaculately clean), with floor to ceiling windows and a window seat, was absolutely designed by people who wanted to create a space where they would want to spend time. It had everything you would want to relax and enjoy. The staff was extraordinary! Every single one of them was happy and engaged with joyful personality! Any request was met with swift and thoughtful response. We booked and went for a return trip for our anniversary and Valentine's day and had an equally wonderous stay! AND the restaurant and the one at their sister hotel, The O'Henry, are fantastic (look for our reviews of Green Valley Grill and Print Works Bistro). If you read this review and decide to go...You are welcome!

High end service and food. I went to a social event here and it was amazing. I love the layout of the hotel and all the food stations were amazing. They had ample staff there walking around with drinks and hordurves.

We could not have chosen a better place to have our wedding! Kirsten and Morgan were wonderful with planning and accommodating us and helping us hammer out details. They made it easy and simple. Everything about this place is beautiful. It is not your run of the mill hotel stay. So much attention to detail has been paid to every aspect of our stay. Every staff member we encountered was truly a pleasure to be around. They were professional, yet easy to talk to. We so enjoyed our stay on the top floor. We were gifted a romance package and it was phenomenal. We look forward to coming again for an anniversary I d highly recommend for any event. I ve had my share of catered dinners/breakfasts/brunch etc but the food that was served at my wedding was unforgettable. All the guests were happy. I think we ve all been to weddings and events before where the food was just ok... this is not your standard hotel fare. Print works is unforgettable too. We got some great shots all around the hotel. Photo opportunities are bountiful here which is yet another reason this is a great place to have a wedding. LOVE the proximity. This place is always going to be special to us after our big day here.

Way WAY over priced. Throw your money away on this place. Not worth it...

A truly one of a kind experience as you walk in to a magnificent and expansive lobby bejeweled with spiral staircases going down on to the sides. Looking forward to staying here in May 2021!

Incredible. Restruant is 5 stars, the rooms are modern and cleaned daily and it is an experience in its own to stay here. Best bang for the buck.

The room was large and comfortable, bordering on luxurious. Everything in the hotel was designed to be efficient, comfortable, and attractive. Staff provided great and friendly service.

Actually, I had VIP's from Korea and Hong Kong stay at the establishment. They thoroughly enjoyed the service and hospitality.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Proximity. We came here for our wedding night and enjoyed the spa room and king bed. Everything was clean and there were even treats for us. While our stay was great, our check-in process was a nightmare. We arrived in a London Taxi (courtesy of Proximity) directly from our wedding. All I had was my bouquet. When we came inside, the receptionist asked for our IDs, which we didn't have. The room had also already been paid for but they needed a credit card to swipe. Needless to say, we had to sit and wait in the lobby for 30 minutes until someone from the wedding could bring us our things. There should be a more efficient way of allowing the bride and groom to check-in to their room.

My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding and it couldn't be any nicer. I love that the hotel and rooms are energy efficient and green, they have great views and wonderful furnishings and the lobby and food at PrintWorks are to-die for.

I have been fortunate enough to have stayed in quite a few five star hotels. I feel Proximity, a four star hotel, is better than some of the five star hotels. It is clean and has a great look to it. Plus, it has Printworks, which is one of our favorite restaurants in Greensboro.

This hotel does not look like much when you walk around, but the service is good. The care that is provided is what you pay for. The food is pricey, but we'll executed. The bistro that is attached provided the food and drinks. If you have a complaint, the staff will work to fix it without hesitation if they can, if they can't they are willing to get someone who can fix it. The one thing I found out about the place that was astounding is that it is green. Fully green. My only drawback to the place is that some of the inside needs some work, but hey not everything can be perfect.

We stayed for 1 night for our anniversary. Rooms are super clean and modern. Really enjoyed the stay. We had dinner at the Green Valley Grill after watching jazz at o'henry and it was really enjoyable. Great food. Great atmosphere.

Planning an event. Staff is responsive to our requests. We keep coming back year after year!
