We wanted a hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday in January, during the pandemic. We wanted to indulge ourselves. We found the Proximity Hotel and were amazed by the hotel and the room but mostly the staff and service! It is a warm but modern hotel with quirky touches. The room, a spa loft (immaculately clean), with floor to ceiling windows and a window seat, was absolutely designed by people who wanted to create a space where they would want to spend time. It had everything you would want to relax and enjoy. The staff was extraordinary! Every single one of them was happy and engaged with joyful personality! Any request was met with swift and thoughtful response. We booked and went for a return trip for our anniversary and Valentine's day and had an equally wonderous stay! AND the restaurant and the one at their sister hotel, The O'Henry, are fantastic (look for our reviews of Green Valley Grill and Print Works Bistro).
