Venue is rather nice, seats are just not comfortable at all after an hour and a half. Every staff member I've ever interacted with has been super sweet, and parking has never been an issue with the shopping plaza right there.

Outdated tiny venue with poor a/c ventilation. When you go to a concert you can barely breathe because the crowd creates so much heat you feel like you're going to pass out. And the slanted cement floor kills your feet no matter the shoes that you're wearing because it creates poor posture and places pressure on your toes.

I used to love going to see shows and concerts at the Plaza, but ever since last year it appears to be in a state of disrepair. The carpet was ripped out and the temporary chairs are awful. I thought maybe it was a remodel, but when I visited again in September it looked exactly the same with the carpet glue on the concrete floor and the horrible seats, and to top it off the air conditioner was not working! Talk about a bunch of unhappy, sweaty patrons that night. Very dissapointing.

This is the second time I ve been to plaza live for a show and I absolutely recommend 12/10! Frankie (woman) was extremely helpful when the show was slightly late and politely accommodated the patrons in the line as much as she could! Other staff/ security were courteous and facilities are clean! 6 stars for plaza live!!!

Teriffic small venue with decent accustics. This used to be a movie theater which is nice because the GA area is sloped so that no matter where you stand you can see. Had a blast here and for the low ticket prices and quality shows you will too. I recomend arriving early and buying tickets online in advance (cheaper).

NICE VENUE FOR CONCERTS BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THEY CATER TO JUST THE EXTRA PAYING CUSTOMERS WHEN IT COMES TO ANY SEATING AT ALL. THERE'S ONLY SEATING IN THE BALCONY AND IF YOU HAVE ADHD, AND HOW DO YOU PROVE THIS ANYWAY? MORE THAN HALF THE POPULATION IS ADHD,(SMH)... THERE'S NO SEATING ANYPLACE ELSE EXCEPT THE TOILET SEATS UNLESS YOU PAY EXTRA.

Loved it, reminded me of a small church inside. This is a up front and personal place. ended up here on a fluke but will keep my eye open for events. Worth the 2.5 hour drive both ways

Because of the lack of security and metal detectors someone died here. Today is Christina Grimmie's birthday. Because this place didn't have proper security she didn't get to celebrate it. #ripchristina

Attended a political event for Mayor Pete.... Lively crowd... The venue is nice for medium sized crowds.... I've been to concerts here & it's comfortable & no one has to sit too far away... There's a lovely ladies room. There's also a bar for drinks.

Great venue. Take balcony if you want to sit down. Otherwise the main floor is fun for being close and dancing. Note drinks are very expensive but what choice do you have. Stick with beer to save a buck or go all out with double double titos

Staff was nice the soda water was around 5.00 higher price for drinks. The tables for merch was organized. Bathrooms was clean and easy to get too. Felt safe bc no one that lease the venue can come back in. Doors locked from the out side security every where. No WiFi if they did it was not working. The meet and greet went smoothy. It was 1 hr later before they opened the door for the venue.

This place is great, the staff is friendly and the bathrooms are clean. The main area didn t get too hot during the show despite close to 1,000 people being present. There is also a good amount of parking.

I appreciate the size of the venue, but something needs to be addressed about the air conditioning and ventilation. Both times I have attended shows here, I have felt uncomfortably hot. Performers would also complain ON STAGE that it felt hot inside the venue. The air inside is still and sweltering. At the moment, the building is unable to accommodate for it. Do something about it!

We went to a concert there and the acoustics of the Plaza were really great, but the folding chairs had stains on them, there were no snacks at the concession stand and it was so cold in the venue. So cold that it was tough to sit through the performances. I would come back for another show but if it is always like that, I will prepare in advance and bring a jacket (and some snacks ).

Attended the Steve Earle show with Vicki last night. SUPERB. Put Steve, and The Plaza, on your "must see" list. No bad seat in the house. Top notch hospitality. Good craft beer selection too!

Not only did The Plaza take no responsibility for their lack of security and poor procedures to protect patrons and artists now they are fighting the mulitple lawsuits brought against them by Grimmie's family. Disgusting.

The Plaza Live is a great place to see a show because, so far, there are no bad seats in the house! In larger venues like the Bob Carr or DPC, the distance between you and the performer is often very large. Everything else about the facility is acceptable or better, except the seats. They are extremely narrow and uncomfortable. After an hour or so of sitting very close to my neighbors, I realized that there was no way to sit on the chair that didn't hurt! This might be because I'm 6'5", but I suspect I'm not the only one who was uncomfortable.

Saw a rock show here. Cool venue. Love when old movie theaters get turned into concert venues.
I'm giving one star because they don't have free water. No water fountains nor cups of water. I had already paid for 2 bottles of water. Pretty ridiculous. Water is a right, not a privelege.

I've been here twice now for two events and would not recommend it to anyone. When approaching capacity, the A/C doesn't hold up and the place runs hot and odorous. The seating consists of extremely uncomfortable chairs welded together in bench format, and the markup for drinks and snacks eclipses strip club prices.

Truly awful venue. If you have to go, dress cool, and pregame/eat beforehand, or prepare for your wallet to get torched.

The show was excellent. The sound and the visuals were shot on. The bar and the bar staff were very professional. The theater could use a good scrubbing, and the seats were not great. Overall I would go and see another show there.

So. Many people have been saying that this venue is actually one of the nicest places singers and musicians can go to in Orlando
It does look nice but I suggest to bring more security to prevent any more losses in the venue
I hope that the security does do their job
But If there are any more losses following
Christina Grimmie's death, at least they died doing what they loved doing

So nice to have an intimate venue in Orlando. Great seats and generally more affordable than other options around town. Parking is oh so easy and of course free. Ample restrooms. Good bar with friendly servers as were the ushers. Keep this place on your radar for events.

The concert was wonderful. We saw Jesse Cook with his talented other musicians.
There seems to be a lack of communication with the ticket booth and other people involved.
The seats are extremely close together. Padded folding chairs that are positioned on the floor touching each other. They needed more help behind the bar. A very long line 20 people waiting, some just wanting a bottle of water like us.

miss the theater chairs, alot and the ticketfly company they deal with leaves alot on the table. Try calling them (ticket fly), listen to the on hold message, sounds like nails across a black board and they never answered. The plaza never answers as well, unless it is during the daytime. So the ticketfly message, said, maybe there was some tickets left or it was sold out. We took a chance and there was plenty of seats available. Plaza you need to step it up a bit. this is the 20th century, not the 70s

We went to a rock concert, so we were on the floor. Even though the show was sold out, we didn't feel packed like sardines. I liked the sloping floor because it really improved the view. The bar is very close and it was easy to get drinks and go back and forth to the floor. They sent an email about the parking lot and suggested that we park at the Colonial mall parking lot, which was very easy. I will definitely be back.

This is a pearl of a venue to enjoy music. No hassle parking, fantastic sound and some tremendous artists perform here. I d give 5 stars were it not for the seating; it seems they ve pushed the folding chairs ever closer. My last visit was very uncomfortable as I rubbed arms with the man next to me for a good part of the show. I don t enjoy such close contact with strangers! Neither he nor I are especially large so I can t even begin to imagine how awkward larger people must feel.
