I got to see Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant LIVE!! For there first appearance in Florida. Thank you Plaza Live.

Great place to see a show. Not a bad seat in there.
MXPX rocked this place. Great sound and strong drinks.
Great venue for smaller engagements. The seating is extra-padded fold-up chairs or standing room only, depending on the concert. Recently saw a comedian here, and was pleasantly surprised (in a good way) at how much help/ how many ushers were there to help. I'd definitely see another event here.
Great venue, can't wait for the upgrades that are happening.
The Plaza Live is an old movie theater repurposed into a no-frills concert venue. It's not super comfortable, and concessions consist of two small lobby bars. But it gets four stars due to the consistently great line up of big name touring acts, good acoustics, reasonable ticket prices and an intimacy that feels like a small club vs a concert hall.
This wonderful woman stopped to ask us if we needed anything. Her name was Frankie she was the event manager for the Nov.2nd Sebastian Bach concert.escorted me to my seat asked if would like anything to drink.and in the meantime she was hauling ice to the drink stations in the lobby.I wish she worked for me.Thanks Frankie luv ya AMAZING !!!
Sadly, owners decided to do away with comfortable theater rocking chairs. People were overlapping onto others chairs. I felt tremendous space invasion. Still the concert "Tribute to the Eagles" band was done so well it helped compensate. Floor sticky. Parking lot in poor shape and couldn't find handicapped parking. Could be better but I'm very glad to have a local venue like this one. I hope plans are in place as well as financing to keep this place in business.
I'm down to this venue about four or five times and I've always liked it the parking is never too bad the restrooms are always clean and the staff is very knowledgeable. It's more of like an intimate setting rather than a giant stadium I prefer to see things here
They brought an amazing musician and I'd gladly give him 5 stars plus. Travis Greene was amazing. However, I was really hot and the place could afford to close off a few A/C vent in the lobby and open up a few more in the center of that concert hall. Still, overall, it was a great experience.
Great place to see a show. Was there last night and saw a Lake Street Dive and was there the Friday before and saw the Wailers
I came from out of town to see a concert. It was very easy to find and is located next to a shopping center with plenty of parking. The building is older but seems well maintained.
Fantastic venue. Security was quick, drinks are rather pricey but its a concert venue so what do you expect.
This is a great venue! Parking is free & drinks are not too expensive. The balcony has a seating area and the 1st floor is open. I bought my tickets online, it was very easy and fast.
I love the size of this venue! If you want, you can really get close to the bands.
Saw Portugal, The Man. The lines for drinks were crazy, and there's a secret corner outside you have to cram into if you want to smoke a cigarette. Concert was great though.
Great venue with on sight parking! Very clean inside with a great bar selection and plenty of room where the stage area is as well as balcony seating.
This is a smaller plaza than some of the other concert venues I've been to. Not really a good or a bad thing in itself, however it did seem more prone to get hot. With that in mind, a small venue gives a more personal experience with whatever artist you are seeing, so I'd say it evens out. I do recommend you bring a fan or something to stay cool.
I saw a show there recently and because the opening act had no correlation to the other bands playing and was pretty bad I decided to go a little bit later thinking everyone will do the same apparently he dropped out and I was not informed so there was a longer line I still arrived an hour and a half early the doors opened 30 minutes late and the show started 30 minutes late a lot of bad communication the venue is in a very weird location in the middle of a shopping center but that's a Florida thing very strange but an email should have been sent saying one act is no longer with the show in case someone was interested in that person I was not I've been to plenty better venues this one is not that great
The seats are a bit uncomfortable. But I always have a good time here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Decent pricing on events as well.
Went for the miniladd demonetized tour. Great staff, clean auditorium with nice sound quality and cool lighting.
I think I like the idea of this place more than the actual place, but it still felt fun. It's dirty and a bit grimy, but doesn't have a bad seat in the house. It feels a lot like house of blues if they never cleaned it. Still a fantastic place to watch a show since every seat is close.
Have seen several shows at this venue over the past several years. Seating used to be good until they removed the theater seats and replaced them with cramped and very uncomfortable metal chairs with minimal padding. Saw Mary Chapin Carpenter on 10-30-16 and the room was hot and stuffy. I was so uncomfortable from the seats I wanted the concert to be over 45 minutes before it ended. Too bad as they bring in some good artists, but I've had enough and won't be back until/unless the seats are replaced
Snarky Puppy was amazing, of course, but that's not what earned this venue 5 stars. Parking was free, bar prices were reasonable, seats were decently comfortable, but still not 5-star worthy. What really got the 5, what really pushed it over the edge and made The Plaza Live stand out from other music venues was that they. kept. it. brisk. It was nice and chilly at the start, and by concert's end when you're usually sweaty and uncomfortable in a room full of people and hot lights, the temperature was still pleasant. If more venues learned to crank the AC, concerts would be more enjoyable across the board. Well done, Plaza. Thanks for a great night.
It was a quiet little whole in the wall place which fit Puddles quite well
Royal Blood was great, but the venue needs to get it together. The band complained about how hot it was and both constantly had to wipe themselves down with towels. Audience members were sweating profusely as well. The venue did nothing to try and make everyone more comfortable. Will not attend another event here until they get this fixed. June 9, 2018.
No metal detectors, slight risk to performer's safety
Jesse Cook concert was great but venue could have been better. Seats are folding chairs bolted together, very close together. Bathrooms crowded and paper towel dispenser did not work. No water fountain and you need to wait in the bar line to buy expensive bottled water. This place needs an upgrade.
This is a cozy venue with comfy seats for seeing live entertainment.
friendly and efficient entry and seating. great show with Kenny G!
The security was horribly bad. The security was very & extremely unprofessional. It didn t have any metal detectors including metal detector wands. This is why Christina Grimmie got shot and killed. I will never go there not only the lack of security but also the drinks and snack bars are expensive. The security shouldn t have let this Kevin James Loibl in, whom he has handgun weapons and a knife. My advice to you is if there is lack of security, the cost of drinks, dirty bathrooms and/or horrible dirty place don t go there period.
This is a solid theater. I've seen a wide range of shows here over the years, and always had a good time. Comfy seats up top in the balcony, and the GA floor functions like a natural amphitheater, with a slight slope that helps sight lines. Sound quality is pretty good and they bring in some good musicians
I've been to this venue for two shows and really enjoyed it. I like that the floor is sloped so that if you're further back, you can still get a good view of the stage. There's also a mezzanine if you'd like to sit and watch from above! My only complaint is that the barricade at the very front has a little platform of a couple inches which the first two rows get to stand on. That means if you're third from the front it's really hard to see unless you're super tall. But otherwise, great venue.
Where do I start...the staff/ security were amazing helping me. Incredible experience. I can not say enough about this place.
I had 2nd row center seats for Yes. Sound was great. It seats 800--1000 concert goers.
Love the new additions. Can't wait to see Al di meola next!!
Truthlly I wished it had seats. We all had to stand. Even tho i bought T4 seats I had to stand for 2 hours plus one of waiting. The place is too small.
Awesome community theatre where great veriety of performances are showcased with reasonable ticket price.
Good size venue for close up and intimate shows, but has enough room for bigger acts, including a balcony. The location was good, close to other attractions, good parking, clean and organized.
A historic venue for Orlando proper. Unfortunately, due to recent and tragic events that took place here, people not familiar with the venue or Orlando itself are dragging Plaza through the mud. A lot of great concerts have happened here and I hope many more will come. Best of luck to the owners.
I come here for Gaelic storm. Every year I enjoy myself and never disappointed. The venue is always clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is tight but if you arnt there early are you really a fan of whom you are going to see lol.
Wow nice job, this place look great.. good job extra bar..
Great venue! The drinks were a decent price and the bathrooms were clean!
Great place to take a date or to hang with guys. Located in great area (Bumby and Colonial) close to restaurants shopping and more.
I hate him and they killed my idol Christian Grimmie
Unorganized, doors were supposed to open at 9:00, they weren't, then you have another wait in the lobby. Chairs are super uncomfortable. 1st time there and I think it will be the last time.
Great little Hidden Gem tucked away in the most unexpected place in Orlando.
As always! Thank you Place Live for another inmate, GREAT show!
Terrible bridge chairs, overpriced tix for a very old venue
Phenominal, comfortable, great music
Allen Parson Project...luv em"
very cool environment, wish they would have more non alcoholic beverages though!
My first visit at this venue was last night to see Celeste Barber. Nice local venue. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The lobby was freezing but thankfully the show area was not as cold. We ordered the special mixed drink of the evening and it was incredibly tasty and a heavy pour. Clean bathrooms!
Went twice during the week during business hours and they were closed. Impossible to talk to a human on the phone. Wasted driving out there twice. Garage place.
Went here for the first time this week, staff was great. Frankie was awesome and took great care of us! Much better acoustic than the Beacham.
Really cool venue hidden in Orlando. Balcony chairs are kind of old and dated though.
Would give 5 stars because this place is amazing... But they need to fire the sound guy. He is absolutely horrible at his job. Every band was way to bass heavy and multiple times there was zero guitar. No matter where you stood in the room, it was garbage sound. Please fire the sound guy. Movements show btw.
Gave it a four star because the entertainment was awesome. Gaelic Storm has been coming to the Plaza for 10 years. The show was great. But the seats are quite tight and a lot of people had difficulty finding their rows and seat numbers.
Granted the Plaza is one of the oldest venues in Orlando. Constructed in 1963 it was the area's first 2-screen movie theater. In the 90's it was converted into a live performance venue.
The view of the stage is unobstructed so doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. The venue is available for rental besides the scheduled concerts and entertainment.
Plaza is a great venue. Intimate small shows, good sound with places walking distance to eat and hangout at before showtime.
Free and easy parking, very loud and spacious but small venue with good security. Only the balcony has seating, bottom floor is open space. We enjoyed it besides blasting our eardrums right in front of the speakers. Next time we would get balcony seating!
Wife purchased 4 general admission tickets to see the Dobre brothers, adding the all access for my son. We waited for about an hour in the middle of the sun for this all access entrance to be told that only my son and wife could go in early. My daughter and I could not go in so waited in our vehicle for about two hours for them to finish.
After the meet and greet my wife advised me that I now couldn t not be in the same area during the regular show because she was up front. No one from the facility would accommodate us and I ended up waiting the entire show in our vehicle with my daughter.
Also, I ve watched these people stand in the middle of the sun for over an hour.
In conclusion, this was a very poor planned event. No person(s) wanted to assist us in any way. All this after spending almost $500 and driving all the way up from Miami. Very sad.
Fairly decent venue. It loses some mystique being in a shopping mall and they REALLY need to figure out the bar situation. I just gave up trying to get a drink once the line was wrapped around to the outside!
Great venue.
Not a bad seat in the house.
Great local venue in Orlando. Definitely check it out if someone you like is performing there.
John is going to be there in the morning to see if he can get the money from the ATM card and it will require a lot of fun watching people play with my sister
Poor security lead to the death of a very young and talented artist.. :(
Awesome place to see a show! Staff is incredibly nice. They also have security in place. Small and intimate venue! Definitely recommend seeing a show at The Place Live!!!!
Great venue. Great atmosphere. Fits a good crowd but small enough to be personal
The show was great but the venue was uncomfortable and very fun down
Just saw rick wakeman
Very nice place to see a midsize show. Great a/C. Good bars. Clean restrooms. Good acoustics. Seating is a little tight. Small seats with no arm rests. Get ready to meet your neighbor.
