Saw Jump. Excellent play!! I loved how she combined a serious topic with humor threaded through. My two teenaged children loved it too. And I appreciate how playmakers has student priced tickets for UNC students and anyone under 18.
Best place in the area to see live theater. Te plays are well staged by a local university s based repertory supplemented by visiting artists. They show a nice mix of contemporary and classic plays.
Best place to watch theatre in chapel hill. Great Production sets and amazing team to give you a great experience. I saw May Queen here and it was just out of the world experience.
I saw Sense and Sensibility here and it was phenomenal. The show was extremely well done and the actors were amazing. The venue was small and intimate and every seat had a great view. Highly recommend!

Just saw play Sherwood. It was hilarious!! Acting was great and the audience participation was so much fun. Playmakers has some great productions!
Always good theater in this intimate venue. I've been a subscriber for years and never seem a bad performance. Some have been truly memorable. Most of the seats are excellent, none are too far from the stage. Avoid seats way around to the sides. Parking in the nearby garage is free. There is a small concession stand with a modest selection of snacks and non- alcoholic beverages which you may bring into the theater.

Could have done without the added political undertones. Isn't art supposed to be interpretive? Lay it out and let me decide... don't put your spin on it. Great sets and actors though.
A first-rate troupe of actors. Past performances of Shakespeare dramas were some of the best productions anywhere. They also do a great job on Pulitzer prize winning plays.

I've only attended once (so far; "She Loves Me"), but I'll certainly go again. They have a thrust stage (which was used well) and the seating is good until you're very far off-axis. All the actors we're mic'ed and the sound was good. The actors, even in the supporting roles, we're talented.

Best musicals for the money! Professional set designs, costuming and musicians. Sometimes you get really talented young actors as well.
